How Far Has American Churches Drifted?

April 5, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

There is a very interesting study in 2Samuel: 10-11 on our human character in loyalty and compassion. When we study this message and apply it to our society here in America & to our Churches how many people today do we see living with such amenities while the one’s who are doing the work are doing without?

How many people would show the same character as Uriah in filling guilty if he were to live with such comfort while those that served him did without while serving their country?

Then the sad part of this message is how King David had everything but it wasn’t enough. So he even took more in not only the wife of Uriah but his life in order to serve his selfish desires.

This is a sad story in history but it teaches us valuable lessons in our human character in how we are to be loyal, show compassion, and not serve our selfish desires in wanting to take something that is not ours for our own personal gain. How far has our American society fallen to this sinful nature?  How many churches are sitting with large bank accounts while others in their congregation are doing without?

Is this how we are to act in storing our temporary treasures and basing our security in how much we have in material things verses what have in the faith of God? Where we place our faith is vital to our Christian belief and if we do not help others in giving up something of ourselves for the sake of others then we need to recheck our faith…Amen

Alot of Talk But Little Action

April 4, 2009 by admin 1 Comment

There is a major problem in our society today of sitting around and talking about our issue’s instead of going to work and correcting the problem. The word of God plainly tells us that we can’t fix our problems unless we get to the root of the issue and this is where many have fallen lazy in not doing what it takes to really solve our problems. When we are truly honest within ourselves we know the truth inside but the fact is; Will we accept it, pursue it, and really do the work it takes to maintain it?

This is a major problem in our society today by sitting around and talking about the issue instead of going to work and correcting the problem. It is easy to sit around and talk about our issue’s but what use is this? America needs to Wake Up and go to work in making decisions that move us forward! It seems as if a large majority want to sit around and show their intellect while trying to justify their position in how they can analyze a situation.  This is affecting our homes , our work, our churches and even our country.

We need to quit this non sense and get back to work in placing our jobs back in our country where they belong while looking at the positives instead of all the negatives that surround us! The longer we sit around and talk about something when we are not even the ones who can directly fix the problem then what point is this? If we can do something then it is our duty as a Christian and as an American to do our part for our children’s future!

If you can do something to make a difference then do it and if not then find where you can make a difference and work like never before because this is what this country needs! It is time to refocus our country back on God and time to stop all the useless negative talk with little action. To overcome an issue in life this requires some sort of personal sacrifice and it is time that we all face the facts in how we need to come together, put aside our difference’s and give up something for our children of today and tomorrow…

Who’s To Blame, America? China? Europe? Japan? Or, Each Adult?

March 31, 2009 by admin 1 Comment

It is very easy in life when we are struggling to blame someone else but there comes a point that every mature adult needs to except the fact that our decisions are solely our responsibilities!

Greed is the leading factor in this economic meltdown and for years foreign countries like Japan, China, Taiwan and many others have wanted what Americans had and now that they have it they don’t want it anymore. They failed to see what we truly had in the beginning  just as we have now fallen blind to the facts of our foundation. When an individual or a Nation has God in their life then prepare for others to seek or try to tear down what we have in the glory of God! Why do you think Israel has been under attack for so many generations? Why do think America has been preyed upon over the years? One thing that America has fallen to where Israel has not is by pushing our self will upon others. For this we are guilty but praise God for His mercy!

The Word of God plainly teaches us that when we remove our eye’s from Him and place them upon worldly idols then it is only a matter of time before the fall! This is plain to see in history if you will open your eye’s to the Truth of God! It is time America Wakes Up to the fact of how we have fallen to chasing the dollar instead of keeping our focus on God who gives and takes away! Once we do this in placing our focus back upon God through Jesus Christ then and only then will we begin to regain what we have lost while building strength for our children’s future!!!

America Legalizing Marijuana?

March 28, 2009 by admin 5 Comments

It is pathetic how our leaders are even entertaining this idea of legalizing Marijuana here in The United States of America! We need leadership that will not even entertain such nonsense! Instead of putting wasteful time in this destructive conversation we should be addressing the real problems in America and making a stand against what is not right by God in our homes!

I speak from experience on how marijuana will negatively affect our society and it is my prayer that our President says enough is enough and we are going to rebuild this country! Leadership is not about giving in to our immediate desires but it is about looking beyond the present to see the future outcome.

Small Business & True Leadership

March 17, 2009 by admin 2 Comments

When you picture small business in America think of it as the soldiers in the field doing the work and when you picture corporate America think of it as the commanding officers sitting back at a distance. If you can see this picture, then picture this:

The soldiers in the field being small business were holding their ground in this economy until corporate America our commanding officers started to fall in the background because they lost their perspective in how to stay in touch from the bottom to the top. They fell to the numbers game and forgot the people.

Think about it! If all we hear in the media is how bad everything is doing, what do you think this is doing to the moral of the workers or soldiers in the field? I don’t know about you but I want leadership that seeks God first and seeks His wisdom in times of trouble in order to maintain our strength. For if all we hear is our commanding officers crying out for help or saying I did not cause this mess then what do you really expect in this recession?

Always remember the soldiers or workers in the field are the ones who win the wars but when their commanding officers restrict them to a point of little movement then what do you really expect? True leaders take charge in times of trouble and support the people because they know who does the work in getting the job done. Leadership is about delegation and structure with discipline to maintain order! When leaders try to do all parts then this only creates worse conditions because they can’t get the job done without the peoples support.

It is time that every American comes together as one to help rebuild this nation and look for leaders that will state their position under God in holding their ground! We all make mistakes but their comes a point that we must work together in what is right for the people to build a future for our children of tomorrow.

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
