Don’t Hold Back What You Can Give

May 17, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in life to not trust others when we have been burned but when we hold back what we can give then this only limits what we can have. So many people today are living their lives half hearted in their relationships, in their careers, and even in their spiritual walk with God and this has created a lack of fulfilment in their life.

How can we ever be truly happy with something if we are holding back the happiness in return? Until we learn how to give our all and then even go the extra mile to help others along the way we will always be looking for something else rather than appreciating what we already have. I challenge you today to renew your commitment under God to give your all in everything you do to begin to see the blessings that could be before you…amen

Momentum In The Spirit Of God

May 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There is a great momentum that carries us forward in the spirit of God when we learn how to let go of what is holding us back. Everyday we encounter set backs spiritually by Satan that come from all different directions in order to remove our focus from what God has placed in our hearts to achieve and maintain. These set backs or restrictions in the spirit of God not only come from outside sources but many times they simply come down to one thing our own lack of faith in truly trusting God.

When we do not  know how to trust in God it is natural for us in the flesh to place our trust in what we have instead of learning to understand what we are missing. We can witness this lack of trust in our relationships, in our careers, and unfortunately even in the church. Spiritually Satan likes us to have doubts in others because he knows that when we show our doubts then this will spread to others by planting a negative seed in the spirit of Satan instead of the positive seed of God in the Holy Spirit that can produce future fruit.

Have you ever worked under someone that did not understand how to reach certain goals in life because they were too scared of losing their own position? Have you ever been around someone that would not give their all because they were too scared of someone else leaving them behind? Have you ever experienced someone that tried to hold you back because they did not want to see you succeed? Or, have you ever just not made that step of faith because of your own internal doubts? This is exactly how Satan works in this world because he does not want us to move forward in the freedom of Christ and he wants us to be restricted just as he.

The Lord gave us principles to follow in order to maintain the foundation in the direction which God provides. But far too often we allow Satan to limit us to what can be achieved because of our own fears or of our own selfish pride. When we allow Satan to spiritually hold us back then we create a negative chain reaction that holds back others. And, if we are not careful during this suppression to recognize what is taking place in our own lack of trust in God then this can lead to a form of rebellion that can cause a division within our relationships, our careers, and sadly even in the body of Christ.

The object in life is to learn how to work together in the spirit of God not only to build something for our children’s future but in order to maintain the foundation from which we have been given. It is imperative as we mature to be on the lookout for those that God is raising up in our youth to carry on what God has already began. This same principle applies not only in the church but also in our careers to insure the logevity of what God has given for our children’s future. When we overlook this vital principle in the chain of life is when we often restrict others from the blessings that God provides in order to help carry us forward. God gives us children to carry on our family heritage, and God raises up men and women to reach new levels in life through the love of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, we often miss these blessings because we don’t know how to pass on what God has given because we fail to release our temporary control in order to maintain the momentum in the spirit of God.

I challenge you today to let go of what could be holding you back and learn to trust in God for the end results by giving your all in everything you do. Don’t allow Satan to misguide you spiritually into thinking that you can’t improve something when you can and don’t allow someone else to hold you back when all you have to do is trust in God and believe. This world is full of diversions to remove our focus from what God has given and until we learn to just trust in Him we will only continue to miss the blessings that He has before us…amen

A true leader is one that uplifts others rather than trying to only maintain something for themselves…

Be Real To Show Your Faith

May 13, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

The other day I was speaking with another individual who called me to share his pain. He could not understand why no one in the church nor in his own family would offer to help him when he was in need. The pastor whom he spoke with offered no help when he had no food in using the excuse that all their extra funds were being used to build their new facility. His own family would not help him either when he was in need nor even offer him something out of their deep freeze.

This man was not bitter about this lack of obedience in the Word of God nor asking me for anything in return but he just could not understand when he was truly in need how no one give him a helping hand. He went on to share how these same people used to be there for him when he had something to give them in return but now that he is the one in need that these same ones have turned their backs but they still claim to believe.

The Word of God teaches us to help those in the family of God and the Lord even tells us not to charge interest to our brothers and sisters in Christ. How far have we drifted from properly serving the people because we care more about what we can get in return?  God blesses us to bless others and not to only feed ourselves. I challenge you today to go out of your way and help someone that is in need and show the love of Jesus Christ in whom you believe…amen

For God blesses us when we bless others and it is not the blessings that we receive on the outside but the true love that is gained on the inside…

Are you Being True In Your Actions

May 12, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

The other day I was speaking with someone and he shared with me how he was placed in an orphanage as a young child. He went on to share with me how his heart hurt from being separated from his family but the part that hurt him the most was when someone in the family would visit him and say these words, “I love you and stay strong.”  The reason this hurt him so bad is because he did not understand how someone could say these words but then leave him behind.

Can you imagine a young child or even your own child in an orphanage without the love in the family? Can you imagine how hard this must be for children to hear the words of love but then see little to no action? Or, can you imagine what we are teaching our children when we don’t help someone in their fall?  To just say the mere words I love you is the easy part but it is what we show in our actions that truly shows the love that we carry.

To love someone we are to go the extra mile for them and always put our own desires behind someone elses. Jesus taught us how to lead by putting ourself behind another and He truly demonstrated the power of God that is gained in love when we learn to serve one another. I challenge you today to go beyond the mere words in love and show someone that you really do care without expecting anything in return. If you know someone that is sick visit them. If you know someone that is in need then help them. If you know someone that would like to hear from you then contact them to show that you really do care…amen

Don’t ever allow Satan to cause you to think you don’t have time because you could be missing a blessing when you leave someone else behind…

The Outside Will Reveal The Inside

May 11, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever been around someone that put emphasis on what they have or do on the outside instead of keeping the focus on who they truly are on the inside? Satan has done a good job misleading us in prestige and knowledge to the point that it has caused and still causing a division in the body of Christ. The holier than thou attitude and the prestige that many have fallen into is directly against what the Lord Jesus taught us in the Word of God.

Nobody likes to hear someone else brag or boast because all this does is creates a negative chain reaction of Satan that can cause competition between people. When someone feels as if they can’t keep up then why would they want to keep going? Or, when someone feels as if they are above someone else then how would they properly be serving the people?

Everyone knows the lesson that Jesus taught when the disciples wanted to know who was better than the next. He, our Lord and Saviour, got on His own knees to serve while the others argued over their position. I challenge you to never be deceived by Satan in thinking that you are better than someone else nor don’t ever think that you can’t keep up because all this is is Satan trying to hold you down…amen

We all walk together and go home together while truly loving one another in Christ…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
