Discipleship & Spiritual Recognition…
Here recently the Lord has been leading me to write out for further clarity the importance of discipleship and the vitality of recognizing the spiritual maturity of others before we speak. As we look upon the disciples we can recognize that not only did they go out to share the Good News but they also took responsibility for the new births. They did not just care about the “numbers” of who came to Christ but they understood their responsibility of continuing to teach Gods Word in order for each new child to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Daily Bread…
Have you woken this morning with a hunger? Are you craving something to the point you are willing to go the extra mile to get it? Can you smell the aroma in the air? Are you able to sense when you are getting closer to the source? There is nothing like having a craving and that anticipation of something coming out if the oven.
What we feed on is what we crave!!! May your day be filled with a craving for The Word of God and may it be sweet upon your lips as you take it in to feed your heart and soul. John 6:35 Jesus replied,”I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

Are You A Fisherman?
A skilled fisherman learns the characteristics between the different species of fish. They study their habits, their diet and their habitat. Not only does a fisherman study those characteristics but they study their actions during the different seasons and during the storms. In order to become a good fisherman it requires faith, perseverance and grace in order to experience the catch and release. Another requirement of a fisherman is to stay awake at all times and to be recognize the signs in order to set the hook. Sometimes we have to change the color of our lures due to the mood of the fish and what they are hungry for. For there is only ONE bait that is guaranteed to lure them in and that is the attractant of love that gets them in the net in order for JESUS to bring them in…amen
Matthew 4 “”Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

Restoring Honor…
When we look upon God’s creation we can discover the very things He teaches in the Word within nature. For instance geese they can sense predators and the seasons at hand. They mate for life and when one goes down the mate goes too. In addition they fly in formation in order to lighten the loads of the ones that follow. The one that starts at the beginning of their journey is not always one that leads at the end.
They learn to work together as they fly in unity and when they meet another group or let’s say another body of believers they don’t argue about the direction nor do they compete for the lead. They simply merge together as one building a larger formation as they continue to seek their destination. Once they reach their destination within the fields we can witness many different species respecting one another with a sense of honor without pushing others around.
Another interesting part is that they don’t chase the wind but they learn how to use the wind to their advantage. Sometimes storms throw them off course and separate them from the flock but this never stops them from seeking their return. Sometimes they reunite in flight and other times they simply join at their destination. They understand the importance of returning home from season to season and they understand the importance of unity in order to reach their destination.
It is when we learn to put aside our differences and seek the direction of God that He will show us the Way. Here is a video shot from the Glen Beck speech Restoring Honor that I believe is a call for unity in order to regain our direction….
