Leadership of God…

February 28, 2012 by admin Leave a Comment

Do you recall as a child playing follow the leader? The idea was to mimic the antics of the person in front of you in the line of boys and girls winding through the neighborhood. Being a follower was all right but being the leader was the most fun. Creating imaginative routes and task for everyone else to copy.

In real life, great leaders are rare. Often men and women are elected or appointed to leadership positions but then falter or fail to act due to the influence of the people or something of the world. Others abuse their power to satisfy their egos. Crushing or quenching the ones in their way and often squandering resources. Without faithful, ethical and effective leaders people often wander in the wilderness due to the lack of Godly direction.

Being a leader is not about being out front. Nor, is it about a position of power. It is about placing others in front of ourselves and learning to follow the direction of God for the best interest of the people. Jesus Christ taught this, all too well. Learning to be leader starts at the feet of Jesus and then following the guidance of the Holy Spirit while standing on the principles of God…amen

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”  Proverb 29:2

Disciple For The Future…

October 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Empowering leadership is a critical stage of maturity and learning how to build within the instruction of God. This is one of the most neglected areas in leadership due to several reasons. Some leaders simply become consumed with their responsibilties and they fail to balance their time in recognizing the next one to fill their shoes. While some leaders simply allow their own pride to grow out of control so they never learn the art of true leadership which is called sacrifice in giving up something for someone else. Then there are those that have the title but know nothing about true leadership as a servant for the people due to their own personal desire of power and allowing their position to take presidence as an idol before God.

In Exodus 18 we are taught true leadership skills and we learn how to apply them to our lives by empowering future leaders of today. Moses not only gave certain delegates authority but he allowed them to make decisions in the best interest of the people. These leaders under Moses not only seeked God for their direction but they taught us the importance of Godly council and they assumed responsibility for their actions.

Where the disconnect has taken place in todays time is where many men have forgotten to how stand togther in the unity of God with accountability between one another. Instead of taking responsibility for our actions or standing with each other many individuals have forgotten about what it means to be loyal to God in properly serving each other. For where there is no honor within our word there is no stability within our foundation.

Learning to empower future leaders by giving them the responsibility to make decisions not only displays our maturity in Christ but it teaches the upcoming generation how to build upon the foundation which has already been established. Too many times we cause our foundation to crack simply because we forget the real reason that we are here and what holds us all together.

As a leader where ever we are it is vital that we open up our eyes to the next generation and learn to train our future leaders as we learn to walk beside them and be behind them as they learn to walk on their own. For if all we do is hold their hands and not allow them to learn for themselves under God then how can we honestly expect them to ever stand on their own when we have to move on?

We all have a responsibility under God as leaders and it starts first within ourselves and within our very home. We have a responsibility under God as parents to set good examples in faith with our children and teach them how to make Godly decisions without allowing the world to guide their actions. Unless we teach this in our very homes then how can we honestly expect them to empower the future leaders of tomorrow? Leadership is not only about making good decisions but is about training the next generation…

Empowering Leadership & Discipleship…

A Shepherd Does Not Lead He Follows

July 24, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

A good shepherd does not limit his flock to only one field due to concerns of losing his herd nor does the shepherd only cater to certain ones in the field that have something to give them in return. He learns to respect each individual for who they are under God while teaching them how to grow to their full potential without allowing any divisions within the body. As they mature he watches from a distance as the flock learns to live in the freedom of the spirit by understanding the discipline in the Word of God to  live a full life led by God without being restricted by man.

A true shepherd does not lead his herd from the front but he learns to guide their direction from rear. He is not to let one in his flock wander off without looking for them to show them the way back home while searching for others that may be lost from other herds in the wilderness of this world.  He does not force them to return or condemn them when they may get lost.  But he welcomes them with open arms full of love as the others rejoice when another rejoins the flock in the field of true fellowship.

When a shepherd does not teach his flock how to move in this world from one place to the next then it is easy for the sheep to feel restricted and even lose nutrients over time. In restricting the flock it causes some to jump fence, others to wander off, and even some to starve by not not learning how to live and move in this fallen world.  There is great joy when we learn to live and respect our position under God but even more so when we hear that call of the shepherd to find our way back home…amen

Direction With God In America

May 5, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

I have come to a point that I don’t know what else to say in trying to open the eyes of every believer to what is really taking place around the world. The Lord is revealing His anger at all our sin and every day things are only getting worse because we are so caught up in the physical and can’t see the spiritual. By majority, the people have come to a point in our society where we have forgotten how to hear the Word of God and began to look to man for the answers instead of whom gives the answers.

There is not one true believer that can read throughout this ministry website and not see what the Lord has given to me to share with you. I know the day will come when the Lord will open the door for me to move forward but I pray that it comes soon. Because the longer the people don’t listen then the further they will drift away. Things are changing all around us and if the people do not Wake Up to the Truth and turn to God for guidance instead of man then matters are only going to continue to get worse!

It is okay to have opinions on matters but opinions are nothing without direction!

There is only one direction in moving forward and without God in front we will only go in circles in all the opinions that people are trying to show in their intellect.  We all at times want attention on ourselves and want to show what we know. But it is vital to recall that attention on self is short lived while attention on God goes on forever. We must quit all the talk, refocus and get back to work…
