A Divine Appointment…

February 4, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Did you know that everyday that we are given there is a test that is placed right before us? This test is given to see how well we will follow and how well we will serve. Test come in many different ways from the way we take care of ourselves, to the way we treat others, to the way we act in negative circumstances, to the way we conduct business, to the way we handle our temptations, to the way we handle our responsibilities, to the way we handle our pressures, to the way we handle our confrontations, and just simply to see how well we will serve.

This life is no joke! We are accountable to God for every action that we take! Every word that comes out of our mouth and every action that we make is being recorded by the Supreme Judge in Heaven above. In order to improve our walk and to grow stronger in faith we should look at every person we meet as a Divine appointment to hear what needs to be heard or to help those that are in need. We all face different types of tests and I challenge you today and every other day to look at everything as something that God has put before you to help insure your steps in the future…amen

How To Build Character…

February 3, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In life it is easy to run from our responsibilities and we all want to hide our downfalls. When we accept our responsibilities it helps us to build our character and build an inner strength to overcome our temporary set backs. Once we learn who we are under God and accept our decisions God will give us the motivation to complete our work and an inner confidence because we no longer rely on ourselves but learn to rely and trust in the Lord.

Satan wants us to hide our issues and run from our problems because he knows how they can destroy us. He also wants us to become angry when confronted and make excuses rather than taking responsibility for the decisions and actions which we have made. Where Jesus on the other hand instructs us to confront our issues in love and walk in faith to reach the other side in God’s glory. I challenge you today to act in love and to commit yourself in everything that you do for others to see the love of Jesus that will shine through…amen

In God’s Timing…

February 1, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In  the book of Genesis 41 Pharaoh recognized that Joseph was a man that was filled with the spirit of God when he shared the wisdom that God had given him with Pharaoh. Joseph was a man that endured every trial and served God in every situation. He did not  hold grudges nor seek revenge with those who did him wrong. Joseph allowed God to bring things together in the Lord’s timing without trying to step out and take matters into his own hands.

Unlike Joseph we might not get to speak with the king but everyday that we are given those who know us should be able to see God in us through our kind words, our merciful acts, and our wise advice. Whatever our situation, no matter how undesirable it  may be we need to consider it part of our training program to serve God rather than allowing Satan to separate us from what we know in our hearts to be true.

When we begin to look for God in man rather than looking at what we see then the Lord will begin to shape us into who we were set out to be. I challenge you today to  trust in God through every circumstance  and allow your relatives, neighbors, and even co workers to see the spirit of God in you by the way you serve and the way you act…amen

The Eyes & Ears Of A Child…

January 28, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in life to get so caught up in our own world that we can’t hear or even see what is before us. Satan wants to cloud our vision and to restrict our hearing to the point that we become stuck in the fog rather than learning to trust in God to guide us through. Jesus tells us in Mark 10:15, “Assuredly, I say to you , whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

The Lord teaches us throughout the Holy Bible to stay humble as a child and to be wise in our steps as we mature. There is a big difference between a child and an adult. For a young child is alert to their surroundings and listens to everything around them while the adults often become restricted in life because they fail to think that they already know it all or they just don’t have the time to listen.

The Lord teaches us to test all things as we mature in the Word of God and to always be alert. For we never know the day nor the hour of Christ return and wouldn’t it be sad to miss something that God has placed right before us to help us along the Way? I challenge you today to begin to listen as that child of God and be wise in your steps to not fall to deception. It is in our nature to follow what we see but if we don’t know how to truly listen then how do we truly show that we believe?

Are You Listening???

January 26, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

If you were to truly stop and listen without any type of distractions what would you hear? If you were to stop and listen to others around you what would they be expressing from their heart? So many times in life we cover up our pains because we don’t want others to see us cry and we don’t want them to know how we are hurting on the inside.

When we hide our pains without expressing who we really are or what we may be going through then we are only allowing Satan to rob us of the healing that we can receive. It is in our human nature to put up a front but until we learn how to humble ourselves to who we really are then how can we ever honestly expect to be set free?

Deep down inside we all seek the same thing of just wanting to be loved for who we are on the inside and not for what we temporarily have on the outside. To experience true love we have to be honest with who we are through Jesus Christ and learn to trust God to bring things together. I challenge you today to let go of what may be holding you back and to spend sincere time with someone to show you care. We all have something to share if we will just stop and listen…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
