Experiences Lead To Our Purpose In Life

June 19, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

To discover our true purpose in life we first have to recognize what talents that God has given us and then we can begin to develop through prayer and daily practice as we mature to fully utilize what God has given us to use for His glory and not our own. When we learn to apply our experiences in life with our God given talents then this can lead us to discover our purpose in a successful life. The world teaches us to seek success for ourselves but God teaches us that true success is seeking it for others.

It is in our human nature to judge someone based on their appearance, their history, and their education but what we must recall is 1 Samuel 16:7,”For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”  True success comes when we recognize our talents under God and then we help others discover theirs by helping them to one day do the same with others. For there is nothing in this world that can compare to the gift of God that fills our hearts and soul when we help another child discover their purpose in life through the love of Jesus Christ.

As a parent, as a teacher, as a coach, as an employer, and as a leader it is our responsibility under God to recognize the God given talents in others to help develop them for our children’s future. It is in our nature to try and develop someone to fit our mold but we must recall that it is God’s place to develop each individual while we obey His Word in serving the Lord’s desires instead of our own. When we try to guide someone into a decision or deny them an oppurtunity to discover their talents in life then we could be placing that person in a form spiritual bondage that will not only rob them of their joy but it can also affect the future generations in life until someone learns how to break that chain through the love of Jesus Christ.

True Success is not measured in material means but measured in how we teach others to utilize and maintain what God has provided. I challenge you to teach others how to discover their talents in life through the love of Jesus Christ by helping them to follow their hearts desires to insure their steps in the future…amen

Return To God To Be Restored

June 5, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

How sad is this in America of how far we have drifted away from properly following and serving the Lord? Spiritually Satan has misled us into a nation of not enough time when we really do have the time, and he has caused us to react in fear because we have forgotten how to trust in the Lord. Our leaders say they care but they show a total different objective because they only do what can uplift them rather than doing their jobs and properly serving the people.

This same thing has even taken place in our homes and unfortunately even in the church. Have we forgotten what life is about? Have we truly forgotten God’s Word? The Lord never told us to leave someone in the ditch and to fill our own pantries with caviar while we throw a few crackers to others! The Lord never told us to only give to those that can give back in return! The Lord never told us to separate ourselves from the sinners and He especially never told us to hate good and love evil!

Many people have come to a point of only giving time and helping those that offer something back in return. If our check is large enough or we can make someone look good in front of the people then it is no problem to buy some time for someone to listen or receive some support. Have we come to such a point in our society that we have forgotten how to truly discern between good and evil? Have we come to such a point that we have forgotten how to recognize the confirmation that we receive in our spirit when we hear the Word of God because we are so focused on what we see?

Life is not about us! It is about serving others and learning to trust in God rather than in man. How far do we have to fall before we return to God? Is the Word of God so faint in the people that it is time for us to go home? How long are we going to try and rely on ourselves before we learn to rely on God? Until we learn to turn from our ways and seek God for our direction this nation is only going to continue to face the Lord’s judgement for our disobedience!

What we have to remember is that nothing is over until God says it is over and it is our job as a true Christian to make the most out of every day that we are given to help someone else rather than ourselves! Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ displayed this example all the Way to the cross and the Word of God tells us us to never give up no matter how far we fall! All it takes is a little light in the darkness to see the Way and God will give us the strength as we learn to pray…amen

It is when we hold back that we won’t receive what God has in store…

God Can Help You…

February 8, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

When we focus on our issues in life we often become paralyzed in the situation because they may appear humanly impossible to overcome. Satan wants to consume our minds to the point that we lose our drive and to the point that we feel there is no use to carry on. But when we learn to concentrate on God and His power He will always give us just what we need to get through.

No one ever said the road would be easy to travel but when we know something has been given by God then we are to never give up no matter how bumpy the road may be. Do you know the direction you travel? Do you know the road that you are on? Right now some of you who are reading this may feel unable to see through your troubles but I challenge you to focus on God and trust Him for the way out. Once we begin to seek God for our direction He will begin to show us the way to overcome our issues and even give us a peace beyond understanding…amen

With man there are limitations but with God there are no limits!!!

There’s Always Hope In God’s Mercy…

January 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It doesn’t matter how bad something may seem or far someone may have fallen for there is always hope in God’s mercy and grace. Throughout history God has restored individuals, families, and even nations but only when they returned to Him with repentant hearts. All it takes is us putting God first in our lives and learning to trust in Him to give us the direction which we need. Don’t ever fall to thinking there is no hope, for when you do this then you are doubting God’s Word!

As long as we have life there is hope and it is our job as a true Christian to follow God’s Word and serve others instead of ourselves. Many of us encounter different test in our life in order to grow stronger and to learn how to trust in God instead of what we see. I challenge you today and every other day to put God first in everything you do and never lose hope no matter how bad something may seem. It is when we learn from our past that we can move forward in our future…amen

Christianity In America…

January 9, 2010 by admin 4 Comments

When you study the demographics of different religions in The United States of America you will find that the United States has more Christians than any other country in the world. Based on a previous Wikipedia poll completed in 2007 it showed that America consist of 76% Christian and the remaining percents are claimed by others who follow other beliefs or no beliefs at all.

Based on this fact of America being 76% Christian why is that we have so much deception, dishonesty, greed, lust, unforgiveness, and lack of true love within the body of the church? Why is it that so many Christians have so much lack of code and honor in their way of life? Do we think just because we call ourselves Christians that we are excused from judgement and can live as we choose until we are called home? It is sad to see how so many Christians here in America have allowed the world into the church and fallen weak in faith to not stand up for what is right by God in our homes to keep this country intact.

When you study the different religions you will find that a majority of other beliefs can stand together to accomplish a mission but when it comes to today’s Christians many just argue and dispute the Way that has already been given by God through Jesus Christ. Why is that Muslims can stand united with other Muslims but the Christians can’t even agree on which denomination properly sets them free? If there was anyone in this fallen world that has held true by majority and seeked peace in everything they do it is the Amish and the Mennonites that have clearly understood how to live in this world but not of this world. This is sad but true how so many in the Christian body have lost their unity and forgotten how to work together in serving God instead of serving themselves.

Are Christians so blind and deaf here in America that they have forgotten how to recognize the Word of  God and forgotten how to respect each person for the roll that God has given?  This hurts my heart for what I hear and see not only as a Christian but as an American that understands how God gave us this country to be set free. Now with my new understanding in life through Jesus Christ I see how America has fallen to Satan in chasing their fleshly desires instead of trusting in God and allowing Him to supply us with our needs. Satan is very clever and has fooled many Americans as he once fooled Eve in the Garden of Eden.

It is in our human nature to want something before we are ready and to seek the easy route to achieve our goals but as we can now obviously see this is not the proper way to believe! Jesus plainly taught us when tempted by Satan to look past our immediate desires to understand the possible outcome before we make our decisions in life. He also taught us what would happen to our riches when we began to fill our own barns instead of helping others to build theirs to help feed others along the Way. America might look good from the outside but what good is it if we have nothing left on the inside? We all know what happens to the barn that has no inner strength to hold itself up, and it is my sincere prayer that every Christian here in America learns to put aside our differences for the sake of our children’s future.

Our barn might be financially empty here in The United States of America but the pillars that still stand are the Christians that help hold this country together. For without Godly principles, discipline and order through the love of Jesus Christ this country would be no different than the others that have always wanted what we have. What we have is what God has given and anyone that tries to take it away is not working for God but working for Satan.

Life is not about what we have on the outside but who we are on the inside. There is no competition in the body for every part learns to respect each part for the roll they carry while learning to serve each other along the Way. There is no excuse for sin as God told Adam in the Garden of Eden and there is no placing blame for what we know in our hearts to be true. So, I challenge each of you that may read this post to step up to the plate and begin to seek God’s will in your life and not your own  If you have something in your life and you know it is not right then fix it before it destroys you! God is real and knows your heart and soul so the real question is, ” Do you know who you are or have you lost sight of your purpose in life?”

All it takes is that first step, and then every other step will gain momentum with strength once we commit to serving God instead of ourselves…amen
