Life Is A Journey…

October 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Life is a journey that can be compared to an explorer in a dark cave. When we are born this takes place in a cavern, and as we mature there comes a point that we must begin to walk in the darkness of this world. Sometimes our journey will bring laughter, and sometimes our journeys can bring pains. But all that really matters is that we continue to be faithful in our walk while always seeking the light of Jesus Christ in the darkness of this world to keep the enemy from driving us insane.

Sometimes in our journey we are able to walk and other times we might have to crawl. But all that really matters is that we always listen to hear  God’s call. There will be people that will try to misguide us and there will be others who simply just want to hold us back. But there comes a point that we must learn to follow God instead of man and then He will deliver us from the curses on this land.

There will be times in our journey when we may barely squeeze through and other times that we may even want to give up when we feel the load is too much to bear. This is where we must learn to never quit no matter how tight things may be because the Lord can lift the load and even set us free.

There will be times when we are trying to climb out of the darkness that we will need help because we all fall weak at times no matter how independent we may think we are. God puts us here to help one another in this darkness to see how we would serve in helping others along the Way but so many times in our journey of the flesh we fall to a selfish mode of survival and become complacent to the point that we forget how to truly climb.

Many of us try to climb on our own at times when we don’t understand God’s purpose in having order and discipline within the body to reach higher levels in this life through the love of Jesus Christ. This is why it is vital to know God’s Word which is our foundation because if we don’t know where we stand then it is easy to fall.

There must be a time that we learn how to respect our differences and learn to work together rather than against one another. We are all here to help uplift each other whether we are on the top or even on the bottom. God allows us to go through different trials in our life to help others along the Way and to help keep our lives in Balance so we will never forget who we truly are. For no person is any different than the next under God and we all serve a vital purpose in God’s kingdom…amen

The Whisper of God…

October 6, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

To look for God in only something big like rallies, churches, conferences, or highly visible leaders may be to miss Him because He is often found gently whispering in the quietness of a humbled heart. Are you listening for God? Do you even recall how to listen and apply the Word? There is a difference in what we experience in the Spirit and the direction we receive in the Word. Often we move when we feel the spirit but it is imperative to apply the Word of God to insure the right spirit in the overall direction.

Step back from the noise and activity of your busy life and listen humbly and quietly for guidance because the Lord is whispering to our hearts with direction for our future. It often comes from where and when you least expect it. But first we must be willing to truly listen…

The Lord says in Psalm 46 ” Be still and know that I am God!”

Be Alert & Trust God…

October 4, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

So many times in life when we ask God for something we often fail to recognize what He puts right before us. Throughout the Word of God the Lord teaches us to be alert to all things but far too often we miss very things of God because He often shows up in places that we least expect.

It is in our nature to ask for immediate results and then overlook how God gives us just enough to get us through. If we were to receive everything that we asked for how would we know how to trust and appreciate what God has given? When we ask God to help us, be alert for the parting of the seas but learn to appreciate the manna that always supplies our needs.

It is how we learn to walk in life and serve with what we have been given that God will bless us with something more. I challenge you today and every other day to recognize what God has put right before you rather than wondering about something and possibly missing the very blessing which you could receive. ..amen

The Ripple Affect Of God

September 7, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Often things happen in life that we have no control over and that we can’t even explain. Sometimes when things happen others are affected unintentionally due to the ripple affects of the wave. Unfortunately in our human nature we tend to get upset when someone rocks the boat that we are in because we never take the time to look beyond the wave that we see.

All waves start from something that are either put in place by God or allowed by God and until we learn how to recognize the purpose of the wave we will never understand the lesson that needs to be learned. Sometimes when waves come our way they are a test to not only show us what we may need to work on but they are also a test to show us the spiritual enemies that we sometimes have to face.

The object in this life is to learn how to ride the waves in the hand of God while learning to recognize the waves that we may need to avoid. Sometimes we need to get rolled around in the waves of the sea in order for God to teach us in whom to believe…amen

A Marriage Of God Last Forever

September 4, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

There is a distinct difference between a marriage that is of God and marriage that is of the flesh. A marriage that is of the flesh lacks the spiritual connection that is of God and without the spiritual connection in our relationship the physical connection will never experience the depths of love that will get us through. It is vital that we recall that everything in the physical life is only here for a season and everything that we receive in the spiritual life last for eternity.

So many times when we do not properly understand the Word of God we allow ourselves to make decisions that are based solely in our own emotions or we tend to make decisons that only serve our self. Our emotions are very deceiving especially when we feel as if we are being pressured to make a decision due to our immediate desires or due  to giving in to the pressures of something else.

In the eyes of a human we tend to not understand the difference between a commitment in the flesh and a marriage that is of God. This is why the divorce rate here in America is so high due to relying on the physical connection that is destined to change and never making the spiritual connection that last forever. Without the spiritual connection of God our marriages are vulnerable to the world and they often become lifeless because they fail to allow God to keep them alive. There is a constant spiritual battle here on earth with Satan to separate us from what God gives in the love that we have because of his own separation from the Kingdom of God.

As a child of God we know the feeling of true love in our hearts but when we do not know the ingredients in the Word of God that make up the glue that holds it all together we often allow ourselves to be placed in a form of bondage through our fleshly commitments in search of the love that we know. True love is only given by God and maintained through His Son Jesus Christ and when we make commitments that are not driven by God then we are setting ourselves up for a divorce in the future.

We are all susceptible to the deception of Satan and tend to fall at times to the things that we think that we see due to the way that we feel. This lesson is taught throughout the Holy Bible and especially taught in the life of Isaac and his two sons Jacob and Esau. Within this lesson we study four different characters with two that devised a plan to rob the other two of the blessing that they had received. There were decisions made out of desperation, pressures, and deception to achieve certain objectives without trusting in God and taking matters into their own hands. The decision that was guided by Rebekah the wife of Isaac to have Jacob deceive his father caused a division in the family for several years until Jacob humbly returned home in hopes to restore what had been broken. This is the whole message of God to each of us here today, “For when we humble ourselves and trust in God He will not only restore our lives but He will give us the direction to move forward once again.”

With God in our life there is constant growth that allows us to see things that others can not. The object in this life is to learn how to stand on our own under God without allowing the spiritual influence of Satan to misguide our actions.  What God gives us in our marriages is a blessing that we know only comes from God but there is also a spiritual lesson that we are to learn and that is how two can become one in the mind and soul. Once we learn this then we are on the way to learning about the Trinity that makes our lives complete in the Kingdom of God.

For when we learn to wait on God and seek His will in everything that we do is when we will discover the peace that only He provides…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
