God Will Carry Us Forward

August 11, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever noticed how life seems to be filled with obstacles? These obstacles often seem like walls when we do not know how to seek the guidance of God to help us overcome the hurdles that we face. The world likes to tell us to search the world for our answers because they don’t understand where knowledge truly comes from.

It is very easy to travel in circles in the world and continue to face the same patterns time and time again until we learn how to seek God for the direction to move forward. If you feel stuck today in where you are I challenge you to open up the Word of God to find the direction that you need with an open heart so God can guide you from the very start…amen

The longer we avoid the Truth the further we can fall..

Life Is A Season With Changes To Come

August 7, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

One of the hardest things to do in our human nature is to let go when God is calling us to follow Him instead of what we see. In our flesh we tend to put off what God is instructing us to do because we tend to look at what is involved in making the change. For instance, in the physical we often want to make a change in the shape that we are in but then we fail to follow through due to the effort that is required to achieve the goal. Another example of change is when God is guiding us in the spiritual realm to let go of what we see in the physical to simply trust Him and believe.

Change is something that not only affects ourselves but it has affects on others as well. Often people miss the signs within the change that is coming due to being so focused on their own objectives that they miss the signs that are right before them. Then there are those that recognize the signs but they continue to neglect them because they can’t either except what they see or they fail to understand in whom believe.

Why is that we don’t recognize the hints that God puts all around us until something drastic takes place in the change that is sure to come when we neglect what we have been given? Have you ever wondered why the people stayed in a flood plain when the water was rising? Have you ever experienced something like a small drip in a water main that eventually led to a burst? Or, have you ever been in a relationship that was eventually divided because you were too busy to see what needed to be done?

Change often comes to us in stages and it is imperative to recognize these signs to insure that we maintain the coarse that God provides. A great way to look at life is to recognize how our lives under God are to be constantly growing wherever we are. God gives us everything we have for a season to serve His will in everything we do from our jobs, our relationships, and our homes. Within this season that we are given it helps to not fight against where we are but learn to enjoy what we have for the time that has been given.

It is when we forget that our lives are only hear for a season that we often become stuck in where we are. Always know that within a season here on earth that there is no perfect climate no matter how hard we try to find and the object within a seasonal change is to help others to be prepared for what is sure to come. There is great joy when we begin to see what is taking place in the spirit of God that is guiding us to our eternal resting place.

I challenge you to not become stuck within the season that you have been given and to be alert to the signs that are all around you in order to maintain the love that we have been given in our family and friends…amen

The Spirit Of God Is Calling Out

August 6, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

God teaches us that our actions display in whom we serve whether being our self, Satan or the Kingdom of God. When we drift away from the Lord it becomes very easy to neglect our responsibilities under God and neglect how we are serve others instead of ourselves. Why is it that we see so many churches chasing one another and trying to make the grand event? Why do so many Christians speak on having faith and trusting in God while their barns are full and overlook the needs of those in the crowd? Why is it that we complain about our government getting larger when the overall church is getting smaller? What is wrong with this picture?

Do you think maybe we as Christians have neglected our responsibilities under God and passed on to others what we do not want to do?  The world says we need money stored up for rainy days while Jesus says to have faith and trust in God to supply our needs.  How long must we continue to sleep before we Wake Up to the Truth and help rebuild what the world has torn down? God has already given us everything we need to rebuild our nation here in America and until we quit fighting within ourselves and begin to love our neighbors as thyself America is only going to continue to lose what we have been given.

Join me in prayer daily for God to open our eyes once again as One Nation Under God that was founded for the people and not for ourselves. For when we begin to help each other however God provides is when this nation will begin to rebuild and Stand again…amen

Enjoy The Journey Of Life

August 5, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy to go through our daily routines and become blind to the what God has to offer when we get so wrapped up in the world. Our routines often cause us to function like a robot that moves without life with the direction that someone else said to follow. Life is full of adventure and beauty when we open our eyes to what God has to offer in His spirit which gives us the life to live.

We all travel from time to time from one destination to the next and if you will really pay attention to your surroundings along the Way rather than focusing only on the destination you might be amazed at what you will find. We all tend to focus on where we are going to the point that we miss how God instructed us to get there.

I challenge you today to open your eyes and ears to the life that is around you to not miss something that God has right before you because life is not only about the destination but about the journey…amen

Are You Following Or Neglecting

August 2, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In The book of Luke 10 Jesus teaches us how to be alert and recognize the needs of othere’s that have been robbed not only physically but also spiritually by Satan. Through a lesson of a man that was robbed by thieves and left in a ditch Jesus teaches us to help those that have been abused without just walking on by.

If you notice in this lesson the very ones who claim to follow the Word of God were the very ones that walked over him in the ditch and passed him by. Can you imagine what their conversation must have been with the man in the ditch as he reached out to them in need of help? Jesus tells us that the priest saw the man before he arrived and he just decided to avoid him by stepping to the other side. The next person that walked on by was the temple assistant who acknowledged the man in the ditch probably with an offering of prayer to feel like he did his part before stepping over him.

Helping someone is more than just offering our prayers for those that are in need and placing our responsibilities on others to do our part. We never know who God might place in our path daily to test our faith and to see how we follow. If God has put someone in your path that may be in a ditch don’t avoid them and look the other way. For Jesus tells us to love thy neighbor as thyself and if you were the very one in the ditch how would you feel when your brother or sister in Christ just walked on by without hearing your internal cry?

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
