The Old Church to The New Church…

Where did the church as a whole go wrong, many denominations are asking?

Why are many denomination’s like the Baptist, the Methodist, the Presbyterians, the Catholics and many others struggling in growth while the new church is growing in leaps and bounds?

Where is the voice that the church once carried in our homes, in our schools, in our work place and even in our nation?

Well, I can tell you many of these answers because the Lord has given me the spiritual understanding and the wisdom to share this in another light that will open the eyes and ears to help us move forward from where we are today. In one instance of many, the old church set too many man made rules in place which has restricted the Spirit of God while becoming complacent in their ways to not see the future. Over the years of the old hellfire and brimstone teaching, many failed to teach the difference in loving the sinner but how to hate the sin. This caused many church going children to rebel once they were out from under their parents who forced the church upon them. While on another note many who wanted to attend the church were discouraged for how the church portrayed themselves above the sinner for they failed to understand the meaning of Jesus saying, “ I have come to not call those who think they are righteous but those that know they are sinners.”

Over the years one of the hardest parts in leadership is learning how to pass on the candle to the next ones in line that the Lord has placed before them to uplift the next generation. Because of these fears and selfish desires many in leadership have held on to their positions for too long in losing the interest of the youth while not recognizing how God is working in the next generation. There are two parts of scripture which back this up from the old church in not knowing how to move forward and one is with Moses only going so far and then Joshua carrying out the mission. While the other part is in the lesson of Eli and Samuel which teaches us to keep our eyes and ears open to the Word of God speaking through the youth at heart while trying to touch the old but the child within. It is very easy in life as we grow old to miss where God is speaking if we don’t keep ourselves in tune.

On the other hand the new church has gone completely opposite in a form of rebellion towards the old church. By allowing more freedom in the church which is causing many to get caught up in the emotions instead of understanding the purpose of order and discipline which teaches us how to stand on our own with the Lord in front. The new church by majority is not speaking out against sin as it should while forgetting the importance of the foundation in the word of God. This has opened the door to Satan in many ways in causing confusion in the emotions of the spirit for not knowing how to discern between the two. There are two parts that are vital to understand in the house of God and one is recognition of the spirit and the other is the peace in knowing there is no confusion because of the order in the church. This time period of the new church is also backed up in the Word of God in the life of Nebuchadnezzar who once new God but forgot Him over time as he fell to himself in drifting away from what he once knew.

There are no divisions in the house of God and every single person has a purpose in the kingdom. These past divisions have restricted the power of God in our lives, in our church and even in our nation because we have forgotten the overall eternal goal. By all of this taking place we have lost our vision and direction in the wilderness but it is time for us to cross to the other side! It is never too late as long as we have breath and all things are possible with God!

Always remember there is complete order, discipline and respect in the Word of God in the freedom which we have been given and we are to learn how to move when He opens the doors without trying to open them ourselves! If the old church and the new church do not come together in the common denominator of Jesus Christ then the overall church body is going to continue to struggle while this world only continues to grow darker because we have forgotten how to live in the freedom which the Lord has given. It is my heartfelt prayer that the church Wakes Up To This Truth For Our Children’s Future!!!

The Truth of Our Economic Recession

Everywhere we turn someone is giving their economic opinion and even placing blame on certain individuals. All of this continuous talk is ludicrous and a waste of productive time! What has happened has happened and it is time to learn from our past to build once again for our future! Not one individual from President Bush to congress is to blame on our current state. Who is to blame? We all are!!! For we allowed this to take place by making irresponsible decisions and trusting in man rather than standing on what is right by God! Many of our fathers in ours homes, our pastors in the church and even our leaders in our government have failed in doing their jobs in serving self instead of properly serving the people. Over the last 30 years many Americans have fallen to chasing the dollar instead of recalling what life was truly about in the love within family and having a secure home that we were all proud of due to working for what we achieved.

This all began to really unfold in the late 80’s to early 90’s when the government eased the lending regulations and this created today’s nightmare in the financial market with lenders acting as salesman that simply did not care about the future outcome but only for their immediate desires. This was not only their fault but also their superiors for they all fell to the numbers game instead of the relationships that build quality business in life. With all this taking place in the money game this eventually led to further irresponsible decisions being made by the consumer because they were just following what others were teaching and allowing.

As all of this was taking place in the relaxed lending procedures, President Clinton worked his way through certain channels to approve the NAFTA Treaty which soon led to the WTO that began the job loss in America in the early 90’s. This went unnoticed due to Gore inventing the internet, so he claimed :), and the technology boom that took place in this created a smoke screen in what was really happening to our jobs that were the heartbeat of this country. We were just about to stall in this technology boom in the new millennium when 9/11 took place and the feds had no choice but to drop the interest rates like never before to boost our economy. With this in combination to our relaxed lending it was only a disaster waiting to happen.

Many corporations built on this money game with no equity in just assuming the line would not stop while just creating another line to take care of the old line. While there were many who just simply neglected the truth in knowing that one day they would have to annie up but had high gambles that they would have made their mint and moved on for someone else to get the blame. This is sad but true. Because when the technology boom hit it was like a shot of heroin that covered up the real issue and now we have created addicts to money who think the only way to solve a problem is with another shot of heroin! Wall Street and our government has forgotten the hard work it takes to pick ourselves back up after a fall in how to come back to reality without another injection of a drug to only hide the real problem in what NAFTA created along with the relaxed lending requirements and poor use of the American tax dollars that are being spent in Washington. America can’t continue to patch our problems in hiding from the truth!

I am here to tell you,” We can recover from this economic downturn! But we must allow those that made irresponsible decisions to fall just as every other human in life in order to learn from their mistakes to not make them again and implement a strict budget plan to build back what we have lost. Until our country returns to God and addresses the root of our problems in selfish gains and handouts that are undeserved then hold on for what this economic future holds! It is time that we stop debating and listen to what is being said to regain our standing under God giving us Liberty and Justice for All. At some point we must stop all the talk, let the cards fall as they must fall, and get back to work to rebuild wiser than before…

Succesful Leaders Stand With God

Recently in a conversation with an individual in leadership he spoke of his belief in God but in the same conversation stated,” That politics is no place for the church.” When he stated this the first thought that came to mind was,” Does he even know who the church is?” Then I firmly stated,” That this is exactly what is wrong with our country today because without the discipline and wisdom in the Word of God then we do not properly serve the people. The church is not a building or a place but it dwells within us and it is our duty to uphold the Word of God in everything we do from our homes, to our schools, to our churches, from our work place, and even in our government.”

This separation in church and state is tearing our homes and our our nation apart. We must hold ourselves accountable under God the Supreme Judge in knowing that we do not hold all the answers and learn how to follow the Word of God in everything we do. By leaving God out of our lives begins to raise man in the flesh and when this happens it is just a matter of time before the struggles set in before the fall. This is a proven fact in history and our fore fathers new this when building this country.

Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and every other gentlemen who assisted in the writing of the Declaration of Independence put aside their personal beliefs in order to not misguide the meaning of true freedom. But they never intended to have God removed from our American foundation! Any and every individual living in this country has the right to believe how they choose based on every individuals freewill because this is the core principle in the meaning of love and in order to hold this country together we must keep God in front!

Love is free and not directed!

George Washington once said,”It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

John Adams who also played a major roll in our country also said, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our constitution was made only for moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

The division of church and state has occurred of weak individuals who fall tolerant to not speaking what they know in their hearts to be true. It is easy in life to just get by without causing further debates but when we don’t stand for the truth then what will we stand for?

A Flag In The Wind

Have you ever stopped to ever watch a flag blowing in the wind?

It moves so graciously in the freedom to no end.

As you watch the flag you will begin to see

The importance of its foundation

Allowing it to be free!

As the flag moves in each direction blowing in the wind

Begin to feel the freedom within its grace

And this is when you will begin to appreciate

Our freedom in this beautiful place!

There are times the flag may rest

And other times it will stand strong!

But all that really matters within the freedom of the wind

Is that the flags foundation holds to the end!

It is in this appreciation we will find

No other country in all of mankind!

Gov. Mark Sanford Adds To Americas Moral Decline

Here is another example of the moral decay in America that continues along the same lines of Bill Clinton in the affair that changed our society. Ever since that night with Bill Clinton stating that oral sex is not sex this changed our children’s perspective in the wrong direction that continues to decline in trying to justify something wrong in order to make yourself look right. What examples are we honestly being to our children when we abuse our positions and continue to justify what we did wrong instead of just stating the truth in where we failed to adhere to the Word of God in losing our self control?

We all face temptations in life and without standing on the Word of God then it is only a matter of time before we give in. I agree that this matter is a personal matter with the Sanford family but I must add that this is also a matter of proper leadership due to the example that it is being to our children. Whether he loses his job as governor or not over the affair is one thing but in common sense when a man has a job with certain responsibilities and simply does not do his job then what should he honestly expect? Our motto in our company is this,” Do your job or be fired,” and this should be the motto in America . We all make mistakes but there is no excuse for wrong doing that affects the people and when we continue to allow wrong actions then what message are we sending to our children of tomorrow?

If we continue to be tolerant in our society and allow individuals to do as they please with no repercussions for their actions then what message does this show? Change does begin in our homes but it is high time that leaders begin to do their jobs in holding themselves accountable under God and doing what is right for the people. It is time that we seek leaders that care more for what is right for the people and by the people instead of those that care more about fulfilling their selfish desires in their leadership positions.

Until we learn how to speak the truth and face our wrong decisions in sin then our lives will only continue to fall even further away from what we know to be true. It is my prayer that Mark Sanford is able to teach his children how to not fall as he and South Carolina does what is right in sending the proper message to our country that will make others think before they act….

Taxed Enough Already Parties Are Building Momentum

Today I was blessed with the opportunity to speak at a TEA Party in Tennessee. Over the past several months I have sat back and observed from a distance what was taking place in this movement in America while listening to the critics and to the people participating in these events. I am honored to tell you that this event today was a blessing in hearing true Americans speak on loving their country and just standing up for what is right by the people and for the people.

It is obvious to see how these events are going to gain momentum over the next several months with all the short sighted decisions that are being made in the White House that continue to change our American culture while increasing our debt. As I stated in this event,” It is time that America quits just speaking of God and learns to rely on God for the direction we need while looking for the new leaders that the Lord is raising up to serve the people.”

We are past the point of writing letters to our leaders in Washington! It is time that men of God stand up and speak the truth for our children’s future! I don’t know about you, but I am tired of all the talk with little action! As I stated in the event,” Here’s a new meaning for the TEA Party: T= Truth / E= Exposes / A= All and it is time that we do what is right under God in holding ourselves accountable to Him.”

There was one gentlemen that spoke in addition to myself today that stated, ” This movement begins in our homes in teaching the Word of God to our children.” He is correct in his statement but I must add that it is past time that men and women in a position of leadership or parenthood to start doing their jobs and holding firm to what is right by God for the children of tomorrow and not what best serves their selfish desires in the flesh.”

As the TEA Party continues in this mission across America and is committed to making a difference in Washington, then I am here to tell you as I stated to the crowd in Tennessee,” If you really want change in America as Obama proclaimed in his campaign then put God in front and He will bring the change that will make a positive difference in our homes and in our nation.”

There is no disputing the facts in how things are out of hand in our government and it is time that Americans and Christians come together for our children’s future. We are all different in this world but what truly matters is how we work together for the sake of our country and the love of our children…amen
