The Word Of God Stands Forever

March 27, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Throughout the Word of God we are taught to forgive and to trust God instead of man. But over the years of drifting away from the Word of God America by majority has grown into a society that wants to show how much we know and some are even taking matters into their own hands. God is at work in every circumstance and it is our job to trust Him for the outcome while learning to do our part with what we have been given.

It is very easy when something is not going our way to try and redirect its coarse but we must remember that we are not not the ones who direct the steps of man. Unfortunately today we see brothers turning on brothers. Sisters are turning on sisters. Parents are turning away  from their children and children are turning away from their parents. Families are being broken and our homes are being divided. This division that is taking place in our homes is even causing a larger division in our nation. It is a proven fact in history that when we take matters into our own hands without trusting God and seeking Him for the direction that we need then we are only setting ourselves up for a fall.

The Lord tells us in  Deuteronomy 30 that if His people will return to Him and obey His voice according to all that He has commanded with all our heart and soul that He will restore us after our disobedience and even bless our children in the future. When you look at America today we can see a parallel to Israel when they abandoned God and became fat and unruly while making light of their Rock of their Salvation.

America by majority has become fat and even lazy. We have forgotten what it takes to get  the job done and the work that it takes to maintain the love that we have in our homes. We have alot of talk with little action and until we step up to the plate and commit ourselves to the job without trying to place our jobs upon someone else then we are only going to continue the downward spiral that is tearing our homes and our homeland apart.

In order to have strength in our homes we must recall the definition of true love instead of just saying the words with little meaning. We are given the true definition of love in 1 Corinthians 13 but it is sad how so many have have fallen to only scratching the surface. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

It is so easy in our daily struggles to only scratch the surface in saying the words I Love You and take what we have been given so for granted. We must remember that love requires forgiveness, trust, discipline, honor, respect, compassion, and work in helping one another when someone may fall behind. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us how to treat one another and our Father In Heaven taught us how to maintain what we have been given. It is my sincere prayer that America recalls our foundation of God and Wakes Up for our children’s future. Our living God is a merciful God that only wants His children to return to Him and then He will carry us forward…amen

The grass withers, the flower fades. But the Word of God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

Seek God For Courage & Strength

March 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

God gives us courage and boldness to speak the Truth and it is up to us to recognize the proper timing to act in love rather than acting out in our emotions. This is one of the most difficult stages of spiritual development in waiting on God for the right timing and not allowing the people or our circumstances to drive our actions.  Moses would confirm this message if he was here today because after 40 years of leading the people and putting up with all their lack of obedience he even acted out in his emotions when he struck the rock instead of obeying God and speaking to the rock.

No matter who we are we all face confrontation from time to time but it is vital to recall God’s Word in these times to insure that we don’t do more harm than we do good. A kind word calms an evil spirit and God will give us the courage to stand for what is right. Evil can only stand so long before it will fall because the love of Jesus will conquer all…amen

It is very wise to not tell what you know until God prepares the people to listen.

Balancing Our Time & Priorities

March 11, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is in our human nature as we climb the ladder of success to separate ourselves from those on the bottom because we often feel that our time is too valuable to waste. This is strictly taught against in the Word of God in order for us to stay in tune with life and to make sure that we stay in touch with the people. Every single day that we are given we face pulls in all directions but one thing we must remember is that God puts every single person in our path for a reason whether it is for us to help them or for them to help us.

We must learn to balance our time daily to reach our goals in life and to maintain what we have been given. From time to time we need to check ourselves and the people we spend time with to insure that we are not only giving time to those that can give us something in return. It is amazing at the hope that can be passed to a child or even a stranger when we take the time in true love to share with them. I challenge you today to uplift someone with some time to show you really do care and to teach others when they might rise to the top how to uplift those on the bottom…amen

Allow God To Confirm Your Steps

March 8, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Throughout life we are faced with many decisions that are guided by our knowledge of the task. These type of decisions are not very difficult to make because we are basing them off of what we have learned but the decisions which we make in faith go against everything we humanly know simply just because we believe.

God teaches us to know His Word and He wants us to learn how to apply it in our daily lives to help us with our decisions in life. But in this process of making a decision it is very wise to stop and seek God for confirmation before we step into something that we might not be prepared for when we may hit the waves in the sea.

I challenge you today and every other day to be patient and learn to allow God to confirm your steps rather than taking them on your own. For what God brings together no man can tear apart and it is wise to be prepared for the journey in order to accomplish the mission…amen

True Success Under God…

March 5, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Many people think that prosperity and success come from having power, knowing influential people, or a large bank account but God teaches us that real prosperity goes against this criteria. When we really think of success we should not be looking at what we have on the outside but who we are on the inside.

True success is not how we succeed by this world’s standards.  True success is achieved in how we develop our children to help define their future. Our friends, our families, our spouses and our children are the jewels in life that God has given us to prosper. I challenge you today to not chase something of the world but learn to appreciate the love that God has given through the love of Jesus Christ.

Real success does not come in what is gained but is defined in what we give back in return…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
