How To Climb The Mountain With God

April 2, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Sometimes our plans even the ones we think God has approved have to be put on hold and this is where so many get discouraged in their journey of life. If we were allowed to climb without understanding the steps then we could lose sight and eventually fall. How far we fall is detemined by our own level of faith and by how far (we) allow Satan to take us down. When the momentum of our climb reaches a certain plateau then it is very wise for us to use this waiting time to learn and prepare for what God may have in store for our future.

The Lord allows us to climb in increments based upon our understanding and He allows some to reach the top to show us how they will fall when they don’t understand what it takes to maintain their position. We all stumble at times and some even fall but all that matters in the end is that we learn to seek God in the love of Jesus to give us back our wind. Life is a beautiful thing when we learn to commit ourselves in the climb on the mountain of God and when we learn to respect each parties position to reach higher levels than before.

It doesn’t matter what you have been through or what you are going through for there is always hope in every situation. Whether you have stumbled or fallen I challenge you to seek God for the strength that you need to pick yourself back up again and allow the love of Jesus to show you the Way…amen

All things are possible through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Discover Your Purpose Today

April 1, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you discovered your purpose in life? So many times we miss our purpose because we spend too much time looking every where else and we tend to overlook what could be done today. In our human nature we like to look at the big picture and if we are not careful when this takes place then we could distort the picture that we already have. When we learn to treat everyday as a new snap shot then we should be able to see how each snap shot can eventually develop our future?

Perhaps there are things that stir your heart. These things that stir your heart may indicate areas where God wants to use you in His overall picture. God uses a variety of means to develop and prepare us  for His purpose and not our own. But so many times we never discover our purpose because we are too busy searching for what we want instead of what God may desire. I challenge you today to learn how to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and make the most out of the snap shot that God has given you today…amen

It is very easy to look upon someone elses picture but it is what we are doing with our own that makes it special in the future.

God Wants Obedience Not Promises

March 31, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

God does not want our promises for the future but obedience for the day. For He knows how weak we are in the flesh and how we tend to make decisions in our emotions which only lead to broken promises in the future. Everyday that we are given we are to honor our commitments and do our jobs to the best abilities that we can.

You will find that people tend to make promises in order to achieve their desires and it is very wise for us to recall that we don’t control the future. A person can only speak for themself and when someone tries to speak for others they must be on one accord to achieve the goal in the end. I challenge you today to not focus on what you desire in the future but learn to commit yourself to do the best job you can for the day…amen

God Works In Mysterious Ways

March 30, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In the book of Judges 14 we learn a valuable lesson between Samson and his parents that can be applied to us today. Samson was determined for his parents to do something because he had set his mind to achieve a desire. Samson was blinded by his desires and his parents could not see how God was working in the situation. Instead his parents tried to discourage him rather than asking him,” Have you prayed about this son? Are you sure that God is guiding you in this matter and have you evaluated the possible outcome?”

It is in our human nature to try and direct the steps of others but we must recall that we do not direct the steps of man. We should always be sure to fulfill our desires in ways that God will approve and trust God for the outcome. When someone is determined to reach a goal then we should be obedient to God’s Word and learn to be prepared to help serve in the future…amen

Sometimes in life we have to experience the fall to understand where our strength comes from.

Look For What God Wants In Your Life

March 29, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Often we think that events just happen to us when we don’t understand the Word of God. The Lord uses common occurences to lead us where He wants and it is important for us to evaluate all situations as potential divine appointments that are designed to help shape our lives. Both our good and bad circumstances alike help build certain qualities in us that not only make us stronger and wiser but they lead us to serve God in new areas that we may never expect.

One of the most beautiful things in life is when we begin to connect the dots as we mature to see what God has taught us and how He has brought us forward. We all face difficult times in life and go through things that we don’t understand but when we begin to look for what God wants in our life verses what we may desire then we are on the way to a new beginning.

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
