Never Quit…

October 20, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is easy in life to give up and just accept what is before us because we don’t want to take the extra effort to make something better in life.

This often happens when we face walls or obstacles in our path by giving up and just accepting what is before us. In every circumstance that we enter we are to strive in our works by standing on our foundation of God to persevere our issues in life.

So what if we have been knocked down! So what if we have been hurt! So what if someone says this can’t be done! So what if someone says there is no use! Because I am here to tell you that when we learn to trust God in our circumstances and serve Him wherever we are that the Lord will bring us through!

A quitter is never a winner and don’t ever give up hope that God has a wonderful future in store for you! I challenge you today to make it better than yesterday, and never fall to fear because then we are doubting God’s ability to help us through…amen

In Christ,

James Harrison / Servant

America’s Curse Can Be Broken…

October 16, 2009 by admin 1 Comment

We must remember that God has never changed and that He continues to hate sin in the church. In the book of Malachi 3 the Lord says,”Return to Me, and I will return to you.” And then He goes on to tell us how we have robbed Him of our tithes and offerings which brought on a curse to the whole nation.

Can you see this curse on America and how we have quit giving our best to the Lord? Can you see how so many churches have even drifted away from the true Word of God in allowing the world in the church? How many homes stand for what is right by God and wrong in sin in allowing the enemy to come right in?

The Church is to be the light in the world and each one of us should be a candle that adds to the light of Jesus Christ. It is so easy to sit back and moan and groan in the darkness of this world or in our own sorrows but what good will this do?

I challenge you today and every other day to add some light in all the darkness of this world. For I firmly believe all things are possible with God and if we all would join together to make a stand I firmly believe that the Lord will once again bless this land.

Some may disagree in how far we have fallen but since when are we to give up? As long as we have breath there is hope and all it takes is the body working together as one to make a difference in this world…amen

Never Hold Back…

October 15, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In the very beginning of the Holy Bible we were taught in the life of Cain and Abel in how to give the best of not only what we have but of ourselves to the Lord.

This same lesson was also taught in Abraham in the willingness to give the life of his son. Later as you know our Father in Heaven gave us His Son which has been the best gift in life.

Even after the resurection of Jesus Christ we were taught this lesson in the book of Acts 5 between a man and his wife in not only holding back their proceeds but they held back the truth which could have set them free.

It is very easy in life to only give what we want while keeping the best for ourselves, but based on the Word of God we are to give our best in everything we do in allowing the Lord to work through each of us in giving Him all the praise.

How can we move forward if we hold back? As true Christians on the team of Jesus we must perform to the best of our God given talents and give the best to the Lord in never holding anything back for ourselves. The Lord is our provider and when we give our best then the Lord will take care of the rest…amen

How To Move In Life

October 9, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In the book of Exodus 40 we were taught a beautiful lesson from God in when to move and when to sit still. This lesson is taught in the Glory of God within the cloud that filled the tabernacle with Moses and the people of Israel.  This same lesson is taught over and over through the generations because we fail to stop and listen.

How often in our steps of life do we move without following looking to God for our direction before we step? He guides us when we stop and listen but often we get so wrapped up in life that we listen to everything else instead of the One who brings it all together. Every action we make is accountable and serves only one of two ways. If we serve self then we serve Satan and if we serve others then we serve God.

It is so easy to fall to self and forget how our actions affect others and this is exactly what Satan wants in our lives in losing touch with the people. I challenge you today and every other day to seek God first before you move and examine your steps to insure the path you are on…Amen

One Day At A Time

October 8, 2009 by admin 2 Comments

There are two things we are guaranteed in this physical life and these same two things are so neglected in life and death. It is so easy to just go through life neglecting what we have been given and especially when we become so wrapped up in our surroundings. Why is it we don’t miss something until it is lost? It is sad but true how we so often neglect the life we have until it is taken away.

It is imperative in this physical life to understand its purpose in order to understand the next eternal life through Jesus Christ. Our daily walk is a gift in everything we are given and even our struggles are blessings when we learn to look at them as growing experiences because the Lord teaches us that “He disciplines those which He loves.”

We all have our own individual struggles or as Paul say’s a thorn in our side. When we face these times look at them to find the answers in which you need to overcome where you have been to insure you never fall to them again. Whoever said life was easy? In our human nature we want everything to come so easily but we must remember the appreciation in what we have when we gain something that we work for.

The Lord plainly tells us to take life one day at a time for there are enough worries in the day than to worry about tomorrow. So when you look at your trials take them one day at a time minute by minute and search for the answers in prayer by learning to trust in the Lord that He will bring you through because He cares. Be wise in your steps while applying His instruction to give you the direction and strength in which you need to succeed.

I challenge you today and every other day to enjoy it as if it were your last while doing the best you can in everything you do to reflect the love of Jesus within you.

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
