Breaking Down Your Walls…
In this life it is very easy to allow walls to come up between us without even recognizing why they are there. Have you ever seen someone and formed an opinion of them before they even opened their mouth? Have you allowed a wall to build between someone because you can’t figure them out? Or, have you allowed a wall to come up with someone because they don’t fit into your mold of life?
So many times in life we separate ourselves from people because they might not dress as we do, act as we do, live as we do, or sadly we feel that they are not as good as we think we may be. In the body of Christ there are many parts that have many different functions and if we call ourselves Christians but do not learn how to respect each part for the roll they carry then we need to honestly evaluate who we think we are.
Personally, I have experienced many parts of the christian body from the bottom to the top and unfortunately witnessed a disconnection due to certain ones not feeling good enough and others just thinking they are too good to associate with everyone else. Sometimes in life we allow division because we just don’t know how to make that first step forward to understand the person that God may have placed in our path. What did Jesus teach us about our salvation? Is God’s mercy and grace only for a select few or is it for all who understand our position under God with Jesus as the head of the body?
I challenge you today and every other day to not allow Satan to place walls in front of you. Because if we carry questions or don’t understand them then what right do we have to form an opinion of them until we take the time to properly understand? Once we allow a wall to rise Satan goes to work in our minds to build it so high that we don’t know when to stop climbing. All we have to do is allow the love of Jesus to break through and then it will amazing how God will carry you…amen

The grass withers, the flower fades. But the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8
Seek The Truth Of God…
In the book of 2 Timothy 4 of the Holy Bible Paul warned us of a time coming that people would no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. He said,” They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.”
It is imperative in life to hear the truth! For if all we hear is what we want to hear, then what does this really do to help us overcome and improve? Life is not a walk in the park and until we learn how to walk with Jesus we will never discover how to make it to the other side.
Don’t ever become stuck in your hurts or in your sins and allow Satan to hold you back in life. By learning to analyze our sins in the mirror of God will teach us how to not fall to them ever again. I challenge you today and every other day to seek the Truth in everything you do whether you want to hear it or not, and never allow Satan to hold you back from the freedom in God’s mercy and grace…amen

Love God Not Your Pleasures…
In the book 2 Timothy 3 Paul warns us not to desire our pleasures before God. To serve God this requires daily effort and even sacrifice of ourselves at times for the sake of a higher calling. This is where many people fall weak in faith because love for God reminds us of our needs and our responsibilities not only to serve God but to serve others.
It is very easy to obtain a pleasure in life and so many times we use our pleasures to take our minds off of our problems or we use them to fit in with the world. But from a voice of experience when we give in to our pleasures and don’t address our issues this will only prolong the hurt that we carry. I challenge you today and every other day to love God more than your pleasures and He will give you the strength to overcome anything in your life through the love of Jesus Christ…amen
