Thank God For The USA…

November 26, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

I thank God today for giving us life and the freedom which we still have here in America today. Did you know that 52 of the 55 signers of The Declaration of Independence were deeply committed Christians? The other  three all believed in the Holy Bible as the divine truth, the God of scripture, and His personal intervention. It was also the same congress that formed the American Bible Society and immediately after creating the Declaration of Independence , the Continental Congress voted to purchase and import 20,000 copies of scripture for the people of this nation.

Consider these words that Thomas Jefferson wrote on the front of his Holy Bible,” I am a Christian, that is to say a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus. I have little doubt that our whole country will soon be rallied to the unity of our Creator and, I hope, to the pure doctrine of Jesus also.”

Here is a little more history for this day of Thanksgiving of our first Court Justice here in the United States of America, John Jay. He stated,” That when we select our national leaders, if we are to preserve our Nation, we must select Christians. Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian Nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”

There is no doubt of our Christian heritage here in America with how our ancestors truly demonstrated the meaning of Matthew 16 when they left Great Britain to form this beautiful nation and we all need to come together again under God for our children’s future. I praise God today for His “Amazing Grace” in giving us such a beautiful place to live and having the freedom to worship our savior Jesus Christ. May God bless you and your family today and let’s join together in praying for God’s mercy and direction for our country’s future … amen

Look For Unity Not Division…

November 25, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in life to see the differences in people, but instead of looking at what divides us we should be looking for what unites us. Each one of us have something special to add to the overall picture of life once we learn our purpose through the love of Jesus Christ.

Don’t ever think you can’t make a difference when you can! All it takes is a positive step forward in your life to impact the lives of others. I challenge you today and every other day to make a difference, and look for what unites us instead of what divides us…amen

Don’t Doubt God’s Power…

November 24, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

God gives us instruction in the Holy Bible, and guidance through the Holy Spirit. But far too often we worry about the details or the obstacles in our coarse instead of just focusing on what it takes to just get the job done.

When we allow our fears or doubts to control us then we are doubting God’s power to bring us through. It is not our job to worry about how something will come together  when He gives us a task to do. It is our job to do the best we can in every aspect of our lives, by learning to trust in Him to bring things together in His timing and not in ours.

When God brings something together no man can take it apart!!!

The Blessings At Your Feet

November 23, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

So many times in life we miss something of God because we don’t let go of our own issues to see the blessings which are right before us.  In every aspect of life whether good or bad there are always blessings when we learn to look for the positives instead of the negatives.

I challenge you today an every other day to recognize what God has given you, and don’t allow Satan to rob you of what you know in your heart. For everyday is a gift and we are to add something positive  for our children’s future…amen

Never Give Up or Lose Hope!!!

November 21, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In the book of Exodus chapter 13 we are taught a major lesson of how to stay focused during our walk of life. When the people of Israel were set free from their suppression in Egypt the Lord gave them a detour through the wilderness instead of taking them down the main road which would have been an easier and quicker route.

How many times in life have you set out for something and it seemed you had to go around the world to reach your destination? Or how many times have you set out for something and simply given up because the road seemed too hard to travel? Or better yet, how many times in life have you just fallen weak and settled in your circumstances instead of pushing forward with what you know in your heart?

It is what we go through in life that teaches us how to trust in God and how to appreciate what we have been given. God’s promise has never changed and He never said the road would be easy to travel! We all go through trials and tribulations but this never means to give up on the love that we carry in life through Jesus Christ! So what if the road is not easy!!! So what if the road is not paved!!! So what if we have to overcome obstacles in our path!!! Tell me, what is wrong with a little work in our lives as long as we are working toward the kingdom of God?

There is a reason we go through what we do and many give up while others look for the easy way out. It is when we learn to keep God in front and work together as one in the love of Jesus that we will reach new levels in life.  We all have our own individual mission under God and what He allows us to go through is to make us stronger and wiser to help someone else along the way.

It is very easy to think only about ourselves in tough times and this is exactly what Satan wants us to do. Never give up or lose hope, no matter your circumstance in life!!! Even in the darkest times God is always there even when we can’t see the way and all we have to do is just learn to trust and obey…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
