Don’t Allow Satan To Hold You Back…

November 13, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in life give Satan victory when we become stuck in our circumstance or in our past sins by allowing them to define who we are. Don’t ever look down upon yourself for where you have been or for where you may be, because none of this matters when you have been truly set free.

It is what we (learn) from our past that will define who we are in the future, and our lessons in life will give us the strength to overcome our future.

Our trials in life whether directly or indirectly are there to make us stronger, and to teach us how to help others that may be facing the same circumstances in life. By trying to hide our past this only covers up who we really are, and this allows Satan to rob us of the joy that we have in Jesus Christ. I don’t know about you, but I refuse to give satan victory in my life, and allow him to work through someone else in trying to rob me of the love that I know in my heart!

I challenge you today to be happy with who you are and praise God for what He has brought you through! Don’t allow Satan to rob you of your joy in learning to just appreciate where you are rather than worrying about where you want to go. There is a great peace in being happy and content within yourself and this void can only be filled with the light of Jesus in the darkness of our fallen souls…amen

Praise God For A New Day!!!

November 12, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In every morning that you wake up do you take the time to praise God before you even start the day? Or, do you just jump up without even taking the time to pray?

There is a peace in the early morning that can’t be explained by many, but this peace is of God before our minds get distracted in this world. As we go through the day it is easy to not keep God in the drivers seat and put Him in the back because we don’t want to speak of God in front of others, but why do we do this?

Why are we scared to talk of God in front of strangers and share how He has given us purpose in our lives through the love of Jesus Christ? Since when are true Christians to give in and fall to sin?

It is imperative to recall that the church we attend is for fellowship and worship to replenish our souls for the next weeks journey. Not only was the church established for the believers, but it is also for those that are seeking the light in the darkness of this world. People wonder why the church pughs are falling empty and why the world is getting so dark, but fail to realize that it is because many Christians have fallen to simply not doing their jobs in taking God outside of the church and sharing Him in every aspect of their life.

How do you expect a light to shine when we keep covering it  up in front of others outside of the church? Every single believer has a mission field whether in their homes, in their work place, in their communities, and even in foreign countries and unless we uncover the lamp to let it shine then how do we honestly expect others to see how to properly believe?

I challenge you today and every other day to keep God in the drivers seat and share the message of hope no matter your circumstance in life. There is great power in the spirit of God when we turn the light on in the dark room to help others see the way…amen

Share The Love of Jesus

November 11, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very depressing to look at all the negativity that is taking place here in America and even in our adjoining countries. Everyday we hear something negative and see how Satan is spiritually destroying many lives all around us, but this is a prime time to be sharing the hope in Jesus Christ in teaching those that are lost how to follow God instead of falling to Satan.

This is not a time for Christians to fall weak and be backed into a corner without speaking the Truth in the Word of God!!! If we want this country of the United States of America to improve from our current situation then we must Stand Up for what is right by God and share the love of Jesus in all the darkness that we see!

All it takes is a little light to penetrate the dark room of someones lost soul, and you never know how that seed can spread from one person to the next. It is vital to remember that when we fail to keep God in front of our circumstances, and act in the flesh then evil will feed evil and that is all that Satan wants. Because in hell fire feeds fire and in Heaven love feeds love.

I don’t know about you or where you may be, but I believe God gave us ,the gentiles, America as He gave the people of Israel Jerusalem not only to be free but to help others that are in need! It is time that we Americans Wake Up and take care of our homes in order to restore what has been lost in the Hope and direction that God provides!  I challenge you today and every other day to add the love of Jesus in every aspect of your life in helping push back the darkness of this world. One candle can only put out so much light, but it is when we join our candles together that the light of Jesus will shine so bright…amen

Be A Doer Not Just A Hearer…

November 10, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

 Good morning,

I greet you in the name of the Lord and our savior Jesus Christ. This morning I would like to share with you something a little different than before in a brief testimony in how my life has changed. Over the years I heard the Word of God spoken and even played the roll of calling myself a Christian when I (thought) that I knew Jesus when I really did not understand His purpose in life.

It is very easy to call ourselves a Christian to fit into the community because this is what we must do to be accepted in our society that we live in, or to call ourselves a Christain when we don’t want to listen to someone trying to tell us about God because we don’t want to hear how we are accountable for our actions. There was a time that I played church on one side, but something totally different on the other. In this recognition of my previous life I now see how to properly believe because it is not about trying to walk on water , but it’s how we walk on land.

I just want to tell you today how I praise God for sending His Son Jesus Christ to show us the way back home!!! I was so lost but now I am found!!! Jesus has delivered me from all my hurt and all my shame. The beautiful thing about God our Father in Heaven is that He loves us each of us so much that He never gives up on us even when we are deep in the darkness and not properly living in the light which is given through Jesus Christ. I say all of this to you this morning in hopes that you will praise God with me, for as I write these words in God’s great mercy I have tears of praise in giving God all glory from delivering me from my pain…

Never give up or lose hope on the love that you seek even when life seems so dark and bleek. Because all you have to do is listen to that gentle whisper in your heart in allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you back home. What is home some may ask, and I would like to tell you what home is to me now that I have been set free,” Home is a place of security and strength in thy Father’s arms and filled with motherly love that is given through Jesus Christ in always being their even when we fall. Home is also a place we share meals together and laugh with one another in just being who we are instead of acting like something that we are not.”

Life is a journey that we are to learn from and to teach our children how to carry on even when we are gone. If there is anything that I can ever say to you, I pray that you praise God with me and join together in being a doer and not just a hearer. God is real and Jesus is the Son, and I want you to remember that our walk and even our talk does matter in everything we do. So with all of this being said this morning, I challenge you today and every other day to make a positive difference and never lose hope in the darkness of this world  because when we learn to trust in God all things work together for the good…amen

How To Not Fall Into Depression

November 9, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in life to fall into a box of soclusion when we don’t want to face the facts or see what is really taking place as the world turns all around us. In the medical field they call this soclusion a form of depression. But  the fact is that depression is nothing but allowing Satan to rob us of the strength and direction that God gives when we trust in Him rather than falling deeper into our issues in life.

Spiritually satan wants us to fall into despair because he knows that when we open that door in our minds that many don’t know how to close it without being consumed by their issues in life. Life is a beautiful thing when we learn how to open and close the door in addressing our issues and not allowing Satan to spiritually rob us of the joys we have in life with Jesus Christ.

When you look at your issues in life think of them as a song being played in the background. How can you truly listen to the words of more than one song at a time? Whether you are not facing issues in just trying to reach certain goals or you are going through difficult times in life, always remember how to open and close the door to focus on the music which you have before you. As the Lord teaches us in Matthew 6:24 ” No one can serve two masters,” and when we allow our goals or circumstances to control us then how can we honestly stay in tune with God?

I challenge you today and every other day to mentally train yourself to focus on what you have before you in one segment at a time. By following this simple principle in life which was originally taught to us through Jesus Christ then we will not be robbed of the joy that we carry. It helps to departmentalize each area of our life so we can break it down to set up positive goals to not only improve our life but to be able to maintain what we have been given through the love of Jesus Christ…amen
