True Success Under God…

March 5, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Many people think that prosperity and success come from having power, knowing influential people, or a large bank account but God teaches us that real prosperity goes against this criteria. When we really think of success we should not be looking at what we have on the outside but who we are on the inside.

True success is not how we succeed by this world’s standards.  True success is achieved in how we develop our children to help define their future. Our friends, our families, our spouses and our children are the jewels in life that God has given us to prosper. I challenge you today to not chase something of the world but learn to appreciate the love that God has given through the love of Jesus Christ.

Real success does not come in what is gained but is defined in what we give back in return…amen

Communicate In Love…

February 19, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Why is it so hard for us to take time out of our day to compliment or encourage one another? It is very easy to take what we have forgranted until it is gone, and then we look back with regrets for the times that we took forgranted.

Satan wants us to lose touch in this life because he knows how it will rob us in the next. Learning to communicate in love for one another helps us to strengthen our relationships and it allows us to hear how God is working in our lives so we can help encourage each other along the way. It is easy to become discouraged when others won’t listen but this is never a time to give up! This is when we learn to trust God and continue going the extra mile in everything we do because this teaches our children how to live in this world. I challenge you today to not hold back what needs to be said and learn how to communicate in love in everything you do to allow the love of Jesus to shine through…amen

Often in life our problems arise not from what has been said but from what has not been spoken…

Teach Your Children Who To Lean On…

February 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is important to tell our children about God’s work in our past and to help them see what He has brought us through. What are the turning points in your life where God intervened? What is God doing for you now? Don’t be ashamed of where you have been but be strengthened for what God has brought you through. “It is the wisdom gained in our failures that give us success in the future.”

Your life stories will form the foundations of your children’s belief in God and teach them where to turn when trials come their way. The last thing any loving parent should ever want is for there child to feel all alone and not know where to turn. This is why God our Father in Heaven sent His only begotten Son because He he loved each of us so much that He wanted to show us the Way back home. The Word of God warns us of our human weaknesses and teaches us how to pick ourselves up when we have been knocked down. The way we walk in this life is an example of who we serve and our children need to know where to turn when we are gone…amen

Look Beyond The Now…

February 12, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is easy in life when we face hard work, setbacks, suffering and hardships to give up when we feel like we just can’t go on any longer or there is no use to carry on. Often during these times we cry out to God seeking some relief and we can’t understand why we don’t receive faster results in our suffering. There is never a point that God is not with us and when we face obstacles in our life all the Lord is wanting is for each of us to rely on Him instead of ourselves or even others.

The longer that we hold on to our pains or try to hold things together on our own without turning them over to God the longer Satan will keep us in the same repetitive cycles that will continue to hold us back in life. For Satan does not want us to ever overcome our issues because he knows that the longer we focus on the negatives that they will only rob us of the positives.

As we learn in the book of James we should be encouraged when difficulties come our way because they help develop our patience and character by teaching us to trust God and to look for ways to honor Him in our negative times. I challenge you today and every other day to look beyond your daily obstacles and learn to trust God in every circumstance no matter what you face. For there is a peace beyond understanding when we learn to rely on God rather than ourselves…amen

Think Before You Act…

February 10, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is easy in life to become uncertain at times and even question ourselves when the chances for success appear to be slim. Remember that anyone can obey God when the task is easy and when everything is going good but it is when we face difficult times and challenges that reveals who we really are. Only those with persistent faith can obey when the task seems impossible because they learn how to trust in God rather than falling to what they see. Just because our goals may seem out of reach does not mean that God can’t bring them together!

God taught us this human weakness in the book of Exodus with the people of Israel as they wandered in the wilderness and began to complain on their journey. At first they were excited and ready to leave without even thinking about what they might encounter on their trip or much less how long they would have to travel before they reached their destination.

Have you ever made a decision in your emotions looking for an immediate return or not thinking about what you might face once you have stepped forward? It is imperative in life to analyze our decisions before we act to insure that we are serving others rather than serving ourself. Throughout the Holy Bible the Lord teaches us to seek Him before we act and to be prepared in our decisions to never give up no matter how long the road the may be. Our goals should never stop with us! They should be passed from one generation to the next while each generation knows the principles in the foundation from which we stand…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
