The Dangers of The Last Days

November 6, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

When you study the book of 2 Timothy 3 on ” The Dangers of The Last Days” it is like taking a pen to a grocery list and checking off the items to see if we are ready to check out. Based on the scripture list, the basket is appearing to be full and now moving forward to that day of scanning the items under the light of Jesus Christ.

There is no question that we are coming up on a fork in the road, and either way as a true believer we should have no worries because we know the outcome. No one likes to encounter trials or hard times, but it is in these times that we can grow stronger in faith and gain rewards from the simple things in life through the love of Jesus Christ.

With all the talk and even movies trying to capitalize on the end of times we must recall that our time frame is not the Lords timing and no one knows the time nor the hour. He gave us the signs in the Word of God to help us be prepared and not to live in fear. It is our duty as a true Christian during these times to work  together while helping others that are in need. Not only is it our duty to hold it together during hard times, it is our duty to never quit pushing forward and allowing the evil in this world to rob us of the joy we have…amen

Look Beyond The Storm…

October 31, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is so easy in everyday life to get entangled in the obstacles that we face daily that we forget the direction that God has shown us by how to face and overcome our troubles in life. When we remove our focus from God our vision becomes restricted by Satan.  He only wants us to fall deeper into our troubles rather than facing them head on with the armor of God and doing the work that it takes to get us through.

In the flesh of man it is very easy to give up or lay down when we face negative issues in life but this is where we must learn to call upon Jesus to help us through by never taking the easy way out and never avoiding what we know is right in our hearts to be true.  Jesus plainly taught us how to look beyond the negative circumstance of this world by seeking the direction of God while never avoiding what we must face. When we follow this principle in life by facing our issues it is amazing how much more clear they will become and even how the Lord can deliver you.

If we are not careful in the fog of this world we can allow one negative issue to blind us of all the blessings that we have around us.  This is where we must learn to look beyond the storm to see our way to the other side. We all have issues whether individually, at home, in our family, in our work, in our country and even in many of our churches that can cause us to feel that we cannot make a difference.  We can make a difference!  The Lord plainly taught us how by facing our issues in loving ways rather than in anger.  It is when we neglect the light of Jesus that we will fall to the darkness of this world.

I challenge you to face something that will improve not only things in your life but something in someone else’s by showing them that you care.  It is when we neglect this principle in our life that we forget how to act within the love of Jesus Christ and we fall to only focusing on ourselves rather than looking beyond our life…amen

The American Dream Still Stands…

October 24, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

Why is it when our young children come to us with life ambitions that we encourage them by telling them they can be anything they want but then as they mature we tend to stop encouraging them which causes weak self esteem within themselves?

Think about it! As you have matured in life how many people have ever discouraged you by looking at what you wear, maybe for what you look like, your background, your age or simply by just telling you this can not be done? Is this not complete opposite of what we teach our children when our daughter comes to us wanting to be that princess or when our son comes to us wanting to be that astronaut?

It is vital to recall that every child is a child of God and we never know the age of that lost soul when their eyes may be opened to the Truth in salvation. It is our position to seek Him daily while encouraging each other no matter the age in the glory of God through Jesus Christ!

Do you recall the lesson of Abraham & Sara in the birth of their son Isaac? The lesson was that our heartfelt dreams can be fulfilled at any age of our life if our faith is right by God and we are working within His will!

It is pathetic how how our society by majority has lost their sight in encouraging and helping one another reach their goals in life! Instead we sit around looking and dissecting the task while discouraging someone who can make a difference because we can’t see how God is working in their life. GOD HELP US For How Blind We Are!!!

Our society and even many of our churches are holding our children back because we have lost sight of how to grow in the Spirit of God! We are to help those below us and encourage them to travel further than ourselves while never forgetting the roots of our foundation in the Word of God through the love of Jesus Christ. It is also our position to respect and uplift those above us in order for them to maintain their position until the next one comes along and many have lost sight of this principle in life.

What do you think Martin Luther King would say right now to those who told him to keep his mouth shut and that he would never make a difference? Looks like his heartfelt dreams have now been fulfilled because of the belief in the dreams that he once carried and passed on. Do not ever lose sight of how God can work in our life when we learn to follow Him in true faith and seek His direction in the talents that He has given to each of us to make a difference in our children’s future. Not all things happen in our timing but when we plant the right seeds in fertile soil you never know when the tree may sprout. Every generation is to help nurture and fertilize our children of tomorrow!

I challenge you today and every other day to encourage someone and help them in life by learning to work together and not apart! Don’t disrespect God as Sara and laugh at things that you may think are not possible. Because ALL things are possible with God and greater is He that is within us than he that is in this world!!! Amen

How To Properly Invest…

October 23, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

Did you know that everyday we are given we should be gaining interest? If you are thinking of financial or material gains at this time then you need to recheck yourself in the investments that you are making. Because life is not about money or material gains! Life is about maturing internally within yourself and growing with others in the love of Jesus Christ…

It is sad but true how so many have allowed satan to control their thinking into relying on money and numbers rather than relying on God to bring us through. Many in our nation seem to think that if we have money then this will solve our problems and many of our churches have even fallen to judging themselves by the numbers within the congregation while giving a watered down sermon to appease the people rather than speaking the Truth in the Word of God.

This has allowed a negative ripple effect in our homes and in our children by misleading them into where we are to place our security. Because when we look at money as our solution rather than relying on God then we are only covering up the problems we carry. There is only one way to fix a problem and that is to face a problem, and when our pastors and leaders only tell half the truth to appease the crowd then they are not doing what is right by God and leading us down a path of destruction.

The fact of the matter is, “If we place our security in financial status or judge ourselves by those around us then we need to relook at ourselves to insure the investments we are making are being made into the right foundation of God and not in this fallen world of sin.” Each of us are accountable for our own life under God and everyday we are given we should strive to do something positive in our lives in turn that will pass something positive to others.

Because there is no better feeling then when we know our life is right by God and we are living within His will while investing in others. And everyday that we receive we should make a point to check our daily account within our works and within ourselves to insure that we are making positive investments in our life along with others. I challenge you today and every other day to invest something positive in your life that will encourage someone else in theirs…Amen

America’s Curse Can Be Broken…

October 16, 2009 by admin 1 Comment

We must remember that God has never changed and that He continues to hate sin in the church. In the book of Malachi 3 the Lord says,”Return to Me, and I will return to you.” And then He goes on to tell us how we have robbed Him of our tithes and offerings which brought on a curse to the whole nation.

Can you see this curse on America and how we have quit giving our best to the Lord? Can you see how so many churches have even drifted away from the true Word of God in allowing the world in the church? How many homes stand for what is right by God and wrong in sin in allowing the enemy to come right in?

The Church is to be the light in the world and each one of us should be a candle that adds to the light of Jesus Christ. It is so easy to sit back and moan and groan in the darkness of this world or in our own sorrows but what good will this do?

I challenge you today and every other day to add some light in all the darkness of this world. For I firmly believe all things are possible with God and if we all would join together to make a stand I firmly believe that the Lord will once again bless this land.

Some may disagree in how far we have fallen but since when are we to give up? As long as we have breath there is hope and all it takes is the body working together as one to make a difference in this world…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
