Look For What God Wants In Your Life

March 29, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Often we think that events just happen to us when we don’t understand the Word of God. The Lord uses common occurences to lead us where He wants and it is important for us to evaluate all situations as potential divine appointments that are designed to help shape our lives. Both our good and bad circumstances alike help build certain qualities in us that not only make us stronger and wiser but they lead us to serve God in new areas that we may never expect.

One of the most beautiful things in life is when we begin to connect the dots as we mature to see what God has taught us and how He has brought us forward. We all face difficult times in life and go through things that we don’t understand but when we begin to look for what God wants in our life verses what we may desire then we are on the way to a new beginning.

Grab Hold Of The Power Of God

March 18, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

In today’s society many have fallen weak in faith like Gideon in the book of Judges and forgotten the power which our Father in Heaven has given to each of us to overcome our issues in life. God has given each one of us the power in the Holy Spirit to overcome whatever trial that we may face but we must learn how to trust and strengthen our faith to insure a safe landing. We all have to face things in life  that we do not understand but when these times may occur it is not for us to sit around and drown in our pity. We should be seeking God for what it is that He wants in our life rather than what we would prefer and this is where many struggles come our way because we seek our desires instead of what God wants in our life.

Life is filled with challenges that help build us wiser and stronger for our future. It is what we do in these times that sets an example to others and teaches our children how to trust God rather than losing hope in our circumstances. As Gideon, the Lord wants us to learn where the true power comes from because He knows what will happen when we think that we have accomplished something on our own. I challenge you today to strengthen your faith and learn to seek the power of God that dwells within you to overcome anything that may be holding you back from sharing the love that you carry…amen

Life Is A Great Adventure With God…

March 4, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Without God our challenges in life can be frightening, but with God our challenges can be a great adventure because we never know where He will take us next. Every day we face tough situations, difficult people, and even temptations which come from Satan in trying to get us to act in our flesh and knock us off coarse. It is easy to get sidetracked in our emotions and forget how God is the one who moves the mountains that we face. God promises each of us that He will never abandon us and all we have to do is focus on Him and He will bring us through.

By asking God to direct us we can conquer many of life’s challenges. It is when we learn to look for how God is wanting to use us in our circumstances that helps us to discover the joy in this life’s adventure. I challenge you today to look at this physical life as an adventure to help others stay focused on the eternal direction.

It is when we take our eyes off of the goal that we forget the objectives in the game…amen

Look Beyond The Now…

February 12, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is easy in life when we face hard work, setbacks, suffering and hardships to give up when we feel like we just can’t go on any longer or there is no use to carry on. Often during these times we cry out to God seeking some relief and we can’t understand why we don’t receive faster results in our suffering. There is never a point that God is not with us and when we face obstacles in our life all the Lord is wanting is for each of us to rely on Him instead of ourselves or even others.

The longer that we hold on to our pains or try to hold things together on our own without turning them over to God the longer Satan will keep us in the same repetitive cycles that will continue to hold us back in life. For Satan does not want us to ever overcome our issues because he knows that the longer we focus on the negatives that they will only rob us of the positives.

As we learn in the book of James we should be encouraged when difficulties come our way because they help develop our patience and character by teaching us to trust God and to look for ways to honor Him in our negative times. I challenge you today and every other day to look beyond your daily obstacles and learn to trust God in every circumstance no matter what you face. For there is a peace beyond understanding when we learn to rely on God rather than ourselves…amen

God Can Use Our Pains…

January 2, 2010 by admin 5 Comments

In life it is very easy to harbor our hurts and cover up our pains on the outside but when we do this then we are only allowing Satan to rob us of the freedom that we can have through Jesus Christ. If we are not careful in our hurts sometimes our pains can turn into bitterness when we don’t properly understand the Word of God and this infection will often spread to others until we learn how to overcome our trials in life. Not only can our pains cause us to be bitter but they can also cause us to settle for something less when we can do even more. This is how Satan works in our lives by never wanting us to be who God set us out to be.

When we allow bitterness to grow in our lives without learning to forgive those that may have hurt us then we are allowing Satan to control our lives to the point that we often can’t see what God is trying to teach us. For in every life there is a lesson and until we learn how to search for the answers and do the work it takes to overcome our issues then we are only going to face the same cycle of events over and over.

It is imperative to know that bitterness is of Satan and God uses our hurts to develop us into who we are set out to be. Until we learn how to truly forgive and turn our issues over to the Lord then we are only carrying around a time bomb that can explode at any given moment. Sometimes in life we have to look at the pain to establish the root of the problem and if we avoid the pain then there is no gain.

When God reveals something to us we are to look within ourselves and apply it to our lives to help us take another step in life. But so many times we want to lash out at one another instead of praying for God to reveal the lesson to our brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord plainly teaches us that vengeance is His and the righteous always rejoice when the truth wins out, but so many times we take matters into our own hands instead of trusting in God to work it all out.

I challenge you this week and every other week to turn your bitterness over to the Lord through the blood of Jesus and allow God to use your hurts to help others along the Way. Until we can openly talk about where we have been then how can we honestly even think about where we are going? Our hurts take time to overcome when we carry them for many years but when we learn to shake them from the point of beginning then they are less likely to set up the wrong roots that can rob us of the life that we can have through the love of Jesus Christ…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
