Don’t Be Held Back

October 6, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In the book of Numbers 13 we learn a valuable lesson in the characteristic of man in the flesh verses what we know in the spirit of God through Jesus Christ. Have you ever been at a point in your life where you absolutely knew the direction to take but others around you did nothing but discourage you from going forward?

There is another point in this besides those around you that did not encourage you in your direction which you know in your heart in what has been given by God to move ahead. This other point is satan in the spirit which robs us daily of the joys we can have if we would only listen and obey to the spirit of God in the Holy Spirit. This is taught again in the parable of the four soils by Jesus Christ in the book of Matthew 13 when He refers to the wicked one in verse 19 snatching away what we hear in our hearts in the seed of God that will give us great joy.

In these two paragraphs above they explain two ways in which the wicked one works in order to keep us from going forward in the direction of God. With this recognition in spiritual maturity we are to recall the teachings of Jesus Christ and act in love while being fastened to the rock that will not waiver in this world.  We all face obstacles in life and discouragement to not move forward and this is where we must let go of what holds us back in the love of Jesus to receive the promise that God that has given to you and me.

I challenge you today and every other day to not be robbed of the joy that you can have when you finally make the steps forward that have been holding you back. This applies to every aspect of life once we understand salvation in Jesus Christ…Amen

Competition In The Church Body

October 5, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is sad but true how many churches have fallen into the trap of competing against one another instead of working with each other as they should. Some churches are even copying others while some are even trying to market themselves to pull people in. Church is not a place for competition nor a place that should be marketed as a product on the street. It doesn’t matter the type of building we may have or the activities in the church! What matters is the movement of the Holy Spirit in a church that understands their position under God through Jesus Christ in being real verses one that is not.

Every church under Christ has its church roll within the body and it is our job to be sharing the Word with others in the streets. As we do the work in sharing the Truth with others then it is between the individual and the Lord for them to follow the pull that they receive in their heart.  Who is guilty of this sin in allowing the competition in the church and (feeling) like they must keep up with the Jones’s to keep their flock together? This sin falls upon our leadership for not properly teaching the love within the family and trying to hold the family together with things of this world verses being in a bond of true love that can’t be broken.

Love is not something that can be bought for it was freely given. For things of this world fade away, and the love of God goes on forever…

Paralyzed Christians In America

October 4, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

When you look at your life what do you see?  Do you see growth physically, mentally and most of all spiritually?  If not, why not? What is holding you back in the instruction and direction of God that has been given to each of us in the Holy Bible?

God did not give us this place to sit still! We are to seek Him first and work in the direction of God through the love of Jesus in everything we do to eventually break through! This place is only a training ground to see which one of the two roads we will travel. With this being said it is wise to know the path we are on and very wise to keep ourselves nourished along the way.

Do you know for sure the road you travel? If so, what are you doing to help others along the way? Are you encouraging? Are you helping? Are you even moving? Or, are you just sitting back judging others that pass you by?

It is our place to move forward in life in the direction of God while working together as One in respecting and understanding each party’s position that has been given by God in the love of Jesus Christ.  A body can’t move if each part doesn’t work together and continues to pull in its own direction. Think about it! If my right leg wants to go one direction but my left leg wants to go another can you see how the body gets nowhere and can become broken or even paralyzed?

This is where the overall church body is today in being paralyzed and almost broken. Because by majority everyone is fighting for the head position that has already been given by God in Jesus Christ being the head of the body. The Lord has already given us the direction and we are to keep Him up front while doing everything we can in the talents in which He has given to each of us to help others along the way.

God has given me this wisdom to help you see the Way. Can you see it? I can… I don’t know about you but I want to go home. We can’t go home until we learn to come together as One and understand who is the head of the body being Jesus Christ. Whether this happens today, tomorrow, or years ahead I am going to work hard to nourish and improve everything God puts in my path to help you in yours. I only do this in the glory of God and because I want this place to be a better place for our children in the present and in the future.

I challenge you today to open your eyes and ears to move forward in life with Jesus Christ. Don’t be held back by Satan because he wants you to stay on his road that is so widely traveled…Amen

I Can Do Bad All By Myself

October 4, 2009 by Leave a Comment

This movie with Tyler Perry is a must see and will uplift the viewer in laughter and in tears from the heart. There is a spiritual message in this movie that is not hidden in giving glory to God for restoring the family once we learn to let go of ourselves and serve others. If America would come together by putting aside our differences, as they did in this movie regardless of race, it would be amazing at the joy that would return to the home from which God has given.

It is my prayer that America can let go of all our past hurt and learn to return to God in working together to restore what we have fallen to in this dark world. Life is too short to live alone and when we have family and true friends it is amazing at what can be accomplished for our children’s future… All our children want is to be loved and have a bed of their own……

The Green Mile

October 4, 2009 by Leave a Comment

In the movie The Green Mile with Tom Hanks there is a major understanding of how we let go of the evil spirits that hold us back and learn to trust in men of God with our confession that releases the evil spirits that we may have within. In these men of God that receive the confession if they do not know how to release what they take in then they too will be consumed by the spirit that had a hold on the other. This is the critical part of confession in the release and in the receiver understanding how to cast it out in letting it go.

When we learn to confess our sins there is a release that takes place and if we do not learn to shut the door once we turn from our evil ways then the infection of the evil spirit will return even stronger than before. This is taught to us by Jesus Christ when He said to sweep our homes clean but if we do not stay close to Him through the Word of God then to prepare for when the demon returns for he will be stronger than before.

There is much more to this movie in what it teaches spiritually in how evil faces destruction and how Good always overcomes the evil. Until we learn to verbally confess our sins and face our wrongs then the evil spirits that dwell inside only move from one place to the other within our body because we have not truly let them go. The beautiful part of confession is that you can do this on your own under God through Jesus Christ in sincere prayer by verbally crying out to Him to remove this burden that you may carry.

This movie The Green Mile has several biblical principles that are taught throughout the Holy Bible. So many times what we see is not what we hear when we truly listen….

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
