Faithfullness…

October 22, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In every aspect of our lives we should be aware of the shape we are in and allow our faith to guide us through. When we are faced with opposition does this mean to ever give up?

If our relationships seem to have lost its fire does this mean we can’t ignite the flame?

Just because the majority sit around talking while absorbing what little heat is left does this mean we can’t add another log to the fire?

All it takes is a little effort outside our box in life to spark a flame that can ignite into a fire.

We may not always see the effects of our faith, but we can be sure that God will honor faithfullness. I challenge you today and every other day to get up and add another log to the fire that will provide heat for someone else besides ourselves.

In God We Trust…amen

How to Overcome…

October 21, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

Whenever we are faced with situations instead of falling into despair or depression we should faithfully obey God in all circumstances and do what is right in serving someone else besides our self.

It is very easy in survival to only think of ourselves but this is exactly what satan wants because he is trying to break the love chain in life through Jesus Christ. Can you see how satan has guided our society today into a selfish mode of survival by so many only caring for themselves?

I challenge you today and every other day to trust in the Lord and put yourself behind another to help them in some way. The chain of life which is bound together through Jesus Christ is a chain that can’t be broken and it is our place to connect the links together no matter our differences in life!

In God We Trust…amen

Never Quit…

October 20, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is easy in life to give up and just accept what is before us because we don’t want to take the extra effort to make something better in life.

This often happens when we face walls or obstacles in our path by giving up and just accepting what is before us. In every circumstance that we enter we are to strive in our works by standing on our foundation of God to persevere our issues in life.

So what if we have been knocked down! So what if we have been hurt! So what if someone says this can’t be done! So what if someone says there is no use! Because I am here to tell you that when we learn to trust God in our circumstances and serve Him wherever we are that the Lord will bring us through!

A quitter is never a winner and don’t ever give up hope that God has a wonderful future in store for you! I challenge you today to make it better than yesterday, and never fall to fear because then we are doubting God’s ability to help us through…amen

In Christ,

James Harrison / Servant

How To Shape The Future…

October 19, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

It is so easy in life to get caught up in our own world and forget how we shape the future for our children. Everyday we should be asking the Lord,”What is it that I can do today that will improve it from yesterday?”

So often I wonder, in all the rush of this world how many are truly striving to leave something better than the way we found it?

God put us here not only to determine which road we will travel but to see how we will serve along the way.

By sunrise tomorrow, our actions of today will have become part of our past and they will have already begun to shape our future.

I leave you with this challege this morning,”What actions can you choose or avoid today that will positively shape not only your future but someone else’s?

To make a difference it starts with one step at a time…

In Christ,

James Harrison / Servant

Never Hold Back…

October 15, 2009 by admin Leave a Comment

In the very beginning of the Holy Bible we were taught in the life of Cain and Abel in how to give the best of not only what we have but of ourselves to the Lord.

This same lesson was also taught in Abraham in the willingness to give the life of his son. Later as you know our Father in Heaven gave us His Son which has been the best gift in life.

Even after the resurection of Jesus Christ we were taught this lesson in the book of Acts 5 between a man and his wife in not only holding back their proceeds but they held back the truth which could have set them free.

It is very easy in life to only give what we want while keeping the best for ourselves, but based on the Word of God we are to give our best in everything we do in allowing the Lord to work through each of us in giving Him all the praise.

How can we move forward if we hold back? As true Christians on the team of Jesus we must perform to the best of our God given talents and give the best to the Lord in never holding anything back for ourselves. The Lord is our provider and when we give our best then the Lord will take care of the rest…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
