Going Beyond…

How many people do you witness daily that only perform 1/2 hearted with no drive to go the extra mile? Everywhere we turn from our homes, to our work, and even in our churches we can witness those who just exist without ever learning the true art in serving one another.

It is amazing when we learn to go beyond the expectations in our task at the gratification that we will receive in serving God instead of man. This true gratification is not of monetary means or in words of thanks but it comes in the heart in knowing that we have truly done our part.

Because true rewards are not what we receive in this temporary life they are in the eternal life given through the blood of Jesus Christ!

I challenge you today and every other day to go beyond what someone may expect of you to start a chain reaction in the love which we all share by adding one link at a time…amen

Stay In Tune With God

In the book of Psalm 46:10 the Lord says, “Be still and know that I am God.”

When is the last time you really stopped to look and evaluate yourself in the mirror of God?

 We all pause at times to act like we care but do we ever just really stop and listen to whom we know is there?

When we don’t stop and truly listen then our lives can get out of balance even when we may think we are in tune.

Seek the Lord in everything you do and allow the light of Jesus to reflect through you…amen

The World In The Church

 It is sad but true how many churches have allowed the darkness of the world to enter into their doors by forgetting that the church is to be the light in the world. This has happened over time due to tolerance, complacency, selfish desires and some in pure survival of trying to keep the people in the church.  The church is not a place to be shaped by the world but a place to stand firm in the Word of God!

 Since when did the Word of God change? Since when did the Lord say to please man instead of God? And we wonder what has happened to the overall church body and why America claims to be a non-christian nation…How blind and deaf do we have to be?

 They say we can’t speak the Truth in the Word of God because it might offend someone or we can’t say something when we are led by the Lord because this will be out of order. But then we sit back and complain of the empty pughs in the church while America continues its downward spiral in sin.  

 When our lives are right through Jesus Christ and we speak the Truth in the Word of God that might upset someone else then so be it!!! The Truth hurts when we know we are guilty, but that is between the sinner in the conviction of the Holy Spirit and God in how they handle it. I refuse to bow down to Satan in telling me that I can’t speak of my salvation in Jesus Christ!!! For my God is God Almighty and the Creator of Heaven and earth! My Lord is Jesus Christ which has given me mercy in the Lord’s loving grace which has saved me from this fallen place. I praise God everday given because I am so undeserving for the grace which I have received and I was once so lost in the world but now I am found…

 Uncover your lamp and let it shine in the darkness of this world and never allow Satan to cover it up!!! It is amazing at how we can see when we properly believe…amen

How To Move In Life

In the book of Exodus 40 we were taught a beautiful lesson from God in when to move and when to sit still. This lesson is taught in the Glory of God within the cloud that filled the tabernacle with Moses and the people of Israel.  This same lesson is taught over and over through the generations because we fail to stop and listen.

 How often in our steps of life do we move without following looking to God for our direction before we step? He guides us when we stop and listen but often we get so wrapped up in life that we listen to everything else instead of the One who brings it all together. Every action we make is accountable and serves only one of two ways. If we serve self then we serve Satan and if we serve others then we serve God.    

 It is so easy to fall to self and forget how our actions affect others and this is exactly what Satan wants in our lives in losing touch with the people. I challenge you today and every other day to seek God first before you move and examine your steps to insure the path you are on…Amen

One Day At A Time

  There are two things we are guaranteed in this physical life and these same two things are so neglected in life and death. It is so easy to just go through life neglecting what we have been given and especially when we become so wrapped up in our surroundings. Why is it we don’t miss something until it is lost? It is sad but true how we so often neglect the life we have until it is taken away.

  It is imperative in this physical life to understand its purpose in order to understand the next eternal life through Jesus Christ. Our daily walk is a gift in everything we are given and even our struggles are blessings when we learn to look at them as growing experiences because the Lord teaches us that “He disciplines those which He loves.”

 We all have our own individual struggles or as Paul say’s a thorn in our side. When we face these times look at them to find the answers in which you need to overcome where you have been to insure you never fall to them again. Whoever said life was easy? In our human nature we want everything to come so easily but we must remember the appreciation in what we have when we gain something that we work for. 

 The Lord plainly tells us to take life one day at a time for there are enough worries in the day than to worry about tomorrow. So when you look at your trials take them one day at a time minute by minute and search for the answers in prayer by learning to trust in the Lord that He will bring you through because He cares. Be wise in your steps while applying His instruction to give you the direction and strength in which you need to succeed.

  I challenge you today and every other day to enjoy it as if it were your last while doing the best you can in everything you do to reflect the love of Jesus within you.
