There Is An Art To Balance…

 Have you ever really considered the art in self  discipline which is a required skill in  balancing our lives mentally, physically, and most of all spiritually?  How often do you take the time to keep these three principles in tune? This should be a task in every day that we are given, and if we are neglecting this fact then our lives can easily get out of control. 

 Think about yourself walking a tight rope that is high in the air with very little room in your step to spare. What do you see happening when you take your eyes off of the line that we are to follow? Can you see the importance of knowing where to stand? 

 We are taught how to stand in the Holy Bible from the old testament to the new.  For in the beginning we learn how stay mentally focused on God as we physically mature in life. Then as time goes on, in our physical maturity from one generation to the next, then we are set spiritually free once we learn how to properly believe.

 In everyday that we are given it is vital to know the foundation from which we stand and pay attention to our steps in life. So, I challenge you today and every other day to strive in your steps to not only keep your life in balance but to be a good example in teaching our children of the future…amen

How Do You Balance?

When you study the word balance and look upon your life what do you see?

 Do you see your life out of order, your work in chaos, your marriage barely alive, your children out of control, or just no time for yourself in allowing God to keep you in tune?  

 In order to keep our lives in check we must recognize the purpose of self discipline and the purpose of order in all directions to maintain our balance in life. Maintaining our balance is not something that comes easy and we must accept the fact that it requires work to keep our lives in tune. It is very easy in todayssociety to feel like we do not have time when we really do, and this is exactly what satan wants because then he knows we can lose our direction in life.

 For life is not about how fast we can run or fast we may achieve a goal. It is about learning to maintain what we have been given before we can reach the next levels in life through Jesus Christ.

 I challenge you today and every other day to look around at everything which you have been given from your health, to your work, to your spouse, to your children, to your friends, to your neighbors, to your church, and most of all to God in Heaven above to see if there is something that you may need to address in order to help someone else maintain their balance in life.

 Life is not about what we gain in this world but how we leave it, and with this being said I leave you this morning with this question upon your heart,” What can you do today that will improve something for tomorrow?” Don’t just go through your day drifting along the way! Go the extra mile in everything you do in allowing the Lord to bring you through…amen

Look Beyond The Storm…

 It is so easy in everyday life to get entangled in the obstacles that we face daily that we forget the direction that God has shown us by how to face and overcome our troubles in life. When we remove our focus from God our vision becomes restricted by Satan.  He only wants us to fall deeper into our troubles rather than facing them head on with the armor of God and doing the work that it takes to get us through.

 In the flesh of man it is very easy to give up or lay down when we face negative issues in life but this is where we must learn to call upon Jesus to help us through by never taking the easy way out and never avoiding what we know is right in our hearts to be true.  Jesus plainly taught us how to look beyond the negative circumstance of this world by seeking the direction of God while never avoiding what we must face. When we follow this principle in life by facing our issues it is amazing how much more clear they will become and even how the Lord can deliver you.

 If we are not careful in the fog of this world we can allow one negative issue to blind us of all the blessings that we have around us.  This is where we must learn to look beyond the storm to see our way to the other side. We all have issues whether individually, at home, in our family, in our work, in our country and even in many of our churches that can cause us to feel that we cannot make a difference.  We can make a difference!  The Lord plainly taught us how by facing our issues in loving ways rather than in anger.  It is when we neglect the light of Jesus that we will fall to the darkness of this world.

 I challenge you to face something that will improve not only things in your life but something in someone else’s by showing them that you care.  It is when we neglect this principle in our life that we forget how to act within the love of Jesus Christ and we fall to only focusing on ourselves rather than looking beyond our life…amen

How To Properly Invest…

 Did you know that everyday we are given we should be gaining interest? If you are thinking of financial or material gains at this time then you need to recheck yourself in the investments that you are making. Because life is not about money or material gains! Life is about maturing internally within yourself and growing with others in the love of Jesus Christ…

 It is sad but true how so many have allowed satan to control their thinking into relying on money and numbers rather than relying on God to bring us through. Many in our nation seem to think that if we have money then this will solve our problems and many of our churches have even fallen to judging themselves by the numbers within the congregation while giving a watered down sermon to appease the people rather than speaking the Truth in the Word of God.

 This has allowed a negative ripple effect in our homes and in our children by misleading them into where we are to place our security. Because when we look at money as our solution rather than relying on God then we are only covering up the problems we carry. There is only one way to fix a problem and that is to face a problem, and when our pastors and leaders only tell half the truth to appease the crowd then they are not doing what is right by God and leading us down a path of destruction.

The fact of the matter is, “If we place our security in financial status or judge ourselves by those around us then we need to relook at ourselves to insure the investments we are making are being made into the right foundation of God and not in this fallen world of sin.” Each of us are accountable for our own life under God and everyday we are given we should strive to do something positive in our lives in turn that will pass something positive to others.

Because there is no better feeling then when we know our life is right by God and we are living within His will while investing in others. And everyday that we receive we should make a point to check our daily account within our works and within ourselves to insure that we are making positive investments in our life along with others. I challenge you today and every other day to invest something positive in your life that will encourage someone else in theirs…Amen

The World In The Church

 It is sad but true how many churches have allowed the darkness of the world to enter into their doors by forgetting that the church is to be the light in the world. This has happened over time due to tolerance, complacency, selfish desires and some in pure survival of trying to keep the people in the church.  The church is not a place to be shaped by the world but a place to stand firm in the Word of God!

 Since when did the Word of God change? Since when did the Lord say to please man instead of God? And we wonder what has happened to the overall church body and why America claims to be a non-christian nation…How blind and deaf do we have to be?

 They say we can’t speak the Truth in the Word of God because it might offend someone or we can’t say something when we are led by the Lord because this will be out of order. But then we sit back and complain of the empty pughs in the church while America continues its downward spiral in sin.  

 When our lives are right through Jesus Christ and we speak the Truth in the Word of God that might upset someone else then so be it!!! The Truth hurts when we know we are guilty, but that is between the sinner in the conviction of the Holy Spirit and God in how they handle it. I refuse to bow down to Satan in telling me that I can’t speak of my salvation in Jesus Christ!!! For my God is God Almighty and the Creator of Heaven and earth! My Lord is Jesus Christ which has given me mercy in the Lord’s loving grace which has saved me from this fallen place. I praise God everday given because I am so undeserving for the grace which I have received and I was once so lost in the world but now I am found…

 Uncover your lamp and let it shine in the darkness of this world and never allow Satan to cover it up!!! It is amazing at how we can see when we properly believe…amen
