For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction. Psalm 1:6

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 10:10
A Title Does Not Make Who We Are
It is very easy in our sinful nature to allow Satan to spiritually mislead us when we reach certain levels in life. Just because the Lord may have blessed us with a certain position or with certain material things does not mean that we are any better nor different than someone else. It is easy to see in history those that forgot how to climb the latter of success with God because they began to place their trust in their own accomplishments instead of recalling the Rock of our foundation from which we stand.
The Lord teaches us that we can not serve two masters and if we begin to place emphasis on our accomplishments rather than on the glory of God then we need to take a step back before we stumble to prevent the fall. The positions or titles that we receive in life are nothing more than something to show our commitment to the field that we are in. Our titles do not determine who we are because anyone can gain a title of man but what we show in our actions determines the type of person that we are and that we understand the position which we temporailly hold.
In this world anyone can buy a title or purchase a position but when we learn to allow God to move us where He can best use us is when we truly learn the art of how to climb on the mountain with God. A true title or position is one that is given by God and not seeked by man...amen

Be Real To Show Your Faith
The other day I was speaking with another individual who called me to share his pain. He could not understand why no one in the church nor in his own family would offer to help him when he was in need. The pastor whom he spoke with offered no help when he had no food in using the excuse that all their extra funds were being used to build their new facility. His own family would not help him either when he was in need nor even offer him something out of their deep freeze.
This man was not bitter about this lack of obedience in the Word of God nor asking me for anything in return but he just could not understand when he was truly in need how no one give him a helping hand. He went on to share how these same people used to be there for him when he had something to give them in return but now that he is the one in need that these same ones have turned their backs but they still claim to believe.
The Word of God teaches us to help those in the family of God and the Lord even tells us not to charge interest to our brothers and sisters in Christ. How far have we drifted from properly serving the people because we care more about what we can get in return? God blesses us to bless others and not to only feed ourselves. I challenge you today to go out of your way and help someone that is in need and show the love of Jesus Christ in whom you believe…amen
For God blesses us when we bless others and it is not the blessings that we receive on the outside but the true love that is gained on the inside…

Are you Being True In Your Actions
The other day I was speaking with someone and he shared with me how he was placed in an orphanage as a young child. He went on to share with me how his heart hurt from being separated from his family but the part that hurt him the most was when someone in the family would visit him and say these words, “I love you and stay strong.” The reason this hurt him so bad is because he did not understand how someone could say these words but then leave him behind.
Can you imagine a young child or even your own child in an orphanage without the love in the family? Can you imagine how hard this must be for children to hear the words of love but then see little to no action? Or, can you imagine what we are teaching our children when we don’t help someone in their fall? To just say the mere words I love you is the easy part but it is what we show in our actions that truly shows the love that we carry.
To love someone we are to go the extra mile for them and always put our own desires behind someone elses. Jesus taught us how to lead by putting ourself behind another and He truly demonstrated the power of God that is gained in love when we learn to serve one another. I challenge you today to go beyond the mere words in love and show someone that you really do care without expecting anything in return. If you know someone that is sick visit them. If you know someone that is in need then help them. If you know someone that would like to hear from you then contact them to show that you really do care…amen
Don’t ever allow Satan to cause you to think you don’t have time because you could be missing a blessing when you leave someone else behind…
