In the book of 1 Samuel 16 the Lord told Samuel,”Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see man as he sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Repeatedly throughout the Word of God we are shown how God uses the humble and other living things that we would never expect to help keep us in tune. It is in our human nature to judge others and this is what God teaches (against) for we never know what or who He may use next. What we have on the outside is always changing but who we are on the inside is what truly matters to God. I challenge you today and every other day to not look upon someone else on the outside but learn to love them for who they are on the inside.
Love grows when we learn to exercise it in the Word of God and then it spreads to future generations when we learn how to share it with others…amen
