How To Avoid Division & Divorce…

February 27, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy to speak out against what we see, but in true love that is directed by God we are to stand in faith while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. God shows us what is not right by Him in others to help shape us into who He wants us to be.

As we mature and learn to trust in God it is our duty as a true Christian to stand fast in love with patience for God to correct what needs to be corrected. It is when we take matters into our own hands that we can cause a division in our relationships to the point that they cause anger and even divorce. Rather than focusing on what is negative in the picture we should be looking for the positives to help us learn to overcome the negatives.

Many divisions in the church and in our homes have developed from a lack of understanding the true meaning of a commitment  under God that teaches us to work together through our trials to build something stronger for our children’s future. What are we teaching our children when we don’t work together and when all we do is point out what is wrong in others?

In order for our children to understand a commitment under God we must be an example in our commitments to properly teach them how to work through the hard times to reach the good times. By separating ourselves and blaming one another for our shortcomings it only teaches our children to place blame on someone else rather than taking responsibility for their own actions.

Real change comes when we commit ourselves in prayer for God to bring things together rather than trying to fix it ourselves. So many times we get in the way because we interfere with how God is working to correct what we see. It should be our goal to work on ourselves and allow the light that we carry to help someone else to see the proper way to believe.  Rather than taking matters into your own hands and possibly causing a division or even a divorce learn to trust in God while communicating in the love of Jesus Christ. It doesn’t matter where we go or who we meet there is always something that can be done but it is our place to focus on the positives rather speaking out on the negatives…amen

Be True To Your Walk…

February 26, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Often in life we seek guidance from individuals who have never experienced what we may be going through and they often reply with the same shallow message because they don’t know how to relate to what we may be experiencing. It is very easy to speak something that we have read but totally different to still follow when Satan has heated up the fire.

We can talk it all day long but if we can’t walk it in the hard times then how true is it in the good times? It is how we walk in the fire that shows who we are and how God can reveal Himself in our innermost desires…amen

But Israel soon became fat and unruly! Then they abandoned the God who made them; they made light of the Rock of their salvation. Deuteronomy 32:15

God’s Word Motivates Us To Succeed…

February 25, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy for us in life to become lost in the wilderness and travel in circles to the point that we accept where we are instead of looking of how we could be being held back. God has given each of us a promise of love and peace that comes when we learn to seek His will instead of our own. Many times we lose sight of this because we lose our drive when we take our eyes off of God and place them on what we see.

It is easy to complain about our circumstances if we are not doing something to make them better and often we become lost in the wilderness because we forget how to rely on God instead of man. Until we learn to accept and understand who we are under God then we can never be truly happy with ourselves or much less with someone else. I challenge you today to look beyond what you see to hear what needs to be heard and be happy for what God has brought you through for others to see how Jesus has delivered you…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
