Being out of balance opens the door for Satan to rob us of the good life. The evil one tempts us to live in excess and beyond our means. He also pushes some of us to be workaholics and others to be lazy, whichever it takes to keep us unproductive to rob us of the life we can have through Jesus Christ.
Satan even drives some to seek wealth before God, and convinces others that poverty is godliness. He is very clever and works in many ways that we don’t see until it is almost too late. To stay in balance we must stay alert to insure the steps that we take and to insure the ground that we walk upon.
I believe the only safe life is a Balanced Life, and the only way to obtain a balanced life is by keeping our priorities in line with God’s truth with the love of Jesus in our hearts and soul. Everyday we face something that can knock us out of balance and the only way to stay in balance is to hold on to the cross as our anchor that will not fail…amen
