Recognizing The Spirit Of God

June 7, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There is a difference between discipline and punishment when we really open our eyes to the Word of God. The Lord disciplines us everyday through the Holy Spirit that convicts us of our wrong thoughts and our wrong actions to help us go forward rather than falling behind. It is when we overlook how this discipline is to help us that we often become suppressed to the point that we begin to feel the punishment for our neglect.

Often when we are being disciplined by God through the Holy Spirit and we are avoiding what needs to be done we become very touchy to the point that we snap at others and won’t listen to what needs to be heard. The reason for this is because we already know what needs to be done but our self gets in the way and causes us to fall further because we choose to not follow as the Lord directs.

The object of this spiritual suppression of Satan is to rob us of the freedom that we have in the love of Jesus Christ. For all that Satan wants is for us to give up and to only think about ourselves because he knows that once we do this it is only a matter of time that he will infect our minds to the point that we can not see.

If we choose to continue to overlook what we know in our hearts to be true and not do what needs to be done then it is only a matter of time that the correction is destined to come. God guides each of us daily through His Holy Spirit and the object in this life is to follow Him and to love one another as we want others to love us. I challenge you today to learn how to follow what God places in your spirit in a loving way and begin to be set free from the chains that are holding you back…amen

It is not our hearing God’s Word that pleases Him, but how we respond to it that shows the true love that we carry…

True Communication Requires A Loving Spirit

June 2, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

One of the hardest things to do when we are trying to build something in life is learning how to listen and to trust God for the outcome. So many times we get into our feelings when something is not going our way and we allow things to build that can cause a division. Learning to communicate in a loving spirit is vital to maintain our relationships with one another and just because we may not agree with what someone else may have to say does not mean that we do not need to listen.

The Word of God teaches us that our relationships should be equally yoked because if one person carries all the load then it is only a matter of time that something could break. Each one of us have specific responsibilities to help one another reach what God has put before us in love and when we only think of ourselves then this only shows how shallow the love is that we carry. I challenge you to go the extra mile in what God has given and learn to communicate in a loving spirit to build upon what God has before you…amen

It is when we think that we have all the answers that God shows us how little we are…

Who Guides Your Decisions?

May 29, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very important to examine the deep roots of our intentions, our goals, and our life ambitions to insure the right spiritual seed that is guiding our path. This examination is not only important before we make our decisions but it is equally if not more important to continue throughout our commitments as we begin to build our relationships, our careers, and our missions in life.

When people don’t know God and understand how He is in full control they often make their decisions based on their own knowledge  or desires which can be driven through our emotions and selfish ambitions. Spiritually Satan wants us to make these type of decisions because he knows that when we don’t truly seek God in our decisions how easily they can be broken.

Unfortunately, in today’s society many people make decisions that are far from God in hollow religion due to the influence of monetary gain and by trusting in man instead of learning to trust our Father in Heaven. It is in our human nature to want others to rely on us but when we do this then we are misleading the people because every single individual needs to learn how to rely on God instead of trusting in man.

Through my journey in life I have learned how Satan can even mislead us even when we think that we are on the right coarse. The key to this is staying humble in the love of Christ without allowing pride to separate us from the people. There was once a point  that I would not listen to others because I thought that I had all the answers but there came a point that I had to learn a valuable lesson in allowing God to bring things together rather than trying to do it on my own.

It is very wise to listen and then go to God in prayer before we make our decisions in life to prevent us from acting in our emotions which can cause a division within the body. The Lord speaks in many different ways to warn us, to guide us, and to help unite us but when we become so stuck in our own way then it is only a matter of time that we forget God’s way. It is important to recall that His ways are much higher than our ways and His thoughts are much higher than our thoughts.

If we seriously want to maintain what God has given us in our homes, in our careers, in our churches, and even in our nation then we must learn to work together under God with mutual respect for each individual without divisions in the body. Spiritually Satan has done a good job of causing many divisions in this world because many people want to prove their own self worth rather than just being who they are under God and allowing Him to bring things together rather than trying to do it on our own.

Throughout history we learn of many great leaders who stood up in a time of need, not for the attention, not for monetary gain, nor for their own self glory. They did not have prepared speeches but they just spoke from their heart with God guiding their actions to help encourage and unite the people. It is vital in life that we learn to stand on the truth of God to maintain what we have been given because when we take it for granted then it is only a matter of time before it will be taken away.

Every single individual has a purpose in life and we all add value to each other when we learn how to work together rather than apart. It is my sincere prayer that we put aside our differences and learn to unite for our children’s future in God’s glory rather than our own. May God be with us and give every single individual that reads this the wisdom to work together in the love of Christ to help rebuild whatever in their life that may be broken…amen

For a decision that is right in the eyes of God is one that properly serves the people first and then if it is in God’s will then He will bless the people.

Maintaining What We Have Been Given

May 21, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

The object in life is to learn how to work together in the spirit of God not only to build something for our children’s future but in order to maintain the foundation from which we have been given. It is imperative as we mature to be on the lookout for those that God is raising up in our youth to carry on what God has already began. This same principle applies not only in the church but also in our careers to insure the longevity of what God has given for our children’s future.

When we overlook this vital principle in the chain of life is when we often restrict others from the blessings that God provides in order to help carry us forward. God gives us children to carry on our family heritage, and God raises up men and women to reach new levels in life through the love of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, we often miss these blessings because we don’t know how to pass on what God has given because we fail to release our temporary control in order to maintain the momentum in the spirit of God.

I challenge you today to not become stuck where you are and to be on the lookout for those that God has put in your path to help along the way. When we quit looking for what God has before us is often when we miss something  just up ahead…amen

Momentum In The Spirit Of God

May 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There is a great momentum that carries us forward in the spirit of God when we learn how to let go of what is holding us back. Everyday we encounter set backs spiritually by Satan that come from all different directions in order to remove our focus from what God has placed in our hearts to achieve and maintain. These set backs or restrictions in the spirit of God not only come from outside sources but many times they simply come down to one thing our own lack of faith in truly trusting God.

When we do not  know how to trust in God it is natural for us in the flesh to place our trust in what we have instead of learning to understand what we are missing. We can witness this lack of trust in our relationships, in our careers, and unfortunately even in the church. Spiritually Satan likes us to have doubts in others because he knows that when we show our doubts then this will spread to others by planting a negative seed in the spirit of Satan instead of the positive seed of God in the Holy Spirit that can produce future fruit.

Have you ever worked under someone that did not understand how to reach certain goals in life because they were too scared of losing their own position? Have you ever been around someone that would not give their all because they were too scared of someone else leaving them behind? Have you ever experienced someone that tried to hold you back because they did not want to see you succeed? Or, have you ever just not made that step of faith because of your own internal doubts? This is exactly how Satan works in this world because he does not want us to move forward in the freedom of Christ and he wants us to be restricted just as he.

The Lord gave us principles to follow in order to maintain the foundation in the direction which God provides. But far too often we allow Satan to limit us to what can be achieved because of our own fears or of our own selfish pride. When we allow Satan to spiritually hold us back then we create a negative chain reaction that holds back others. And, if we are not careful during this suppression to recognize what is taking place in our own lack of trust in God then this can lead to a form of rebellion that can cause a division within our relationships, our careers, and sadly even in the body of Christ.

The object in life is to learn how to work together in the spirit of God not only to build something for our children’s future but in order to maintain the foundation from which we have been given. It is imperative as we mature to be on the lookout for those that God is raising up in our youth to carry on what God has already began. This same principle applies not only in the church but also in our careers to insure the logevity of what God has given for our children’s future.

I challenge you today to let go of what could be holding you back and learn to trust in God for the end results by giving your all in everything you do. Don’t allow Satan to misguide you spiritually into thinking that you can’t improve something when you can and don’t allow someone else to hold you back when all you have to do is trust in God and believe. This world is full of diversions to remove our focus from what God has given and until we learn to just trust in Him we will only continue to miss the blessings that He has before us…amen

A true leader is one that uplifts others rather than trying to only maintain something for themselves…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
