Sometimes in life when we seem to continue the same circles it is necessary to stop and evaluate why we are not moving forward to keep us from being left behind. In our human nature we can become blind when we get stuck in our ways and allow ourselves to be content in where we are. This happens in our relationships, in our careers and unfortunately it can happen in the church.
So many times we allow our fears of change to rob us of the blessings of God due to our lack of trusting Him so we try to control things ourselves. This very lesson is what God teaches us with the Israelites when they allowed their fears to keep them in the wilderness for forty years. During this time period of allowing their own fears to hold them back they faced many test which caused them to complain and eventually die off before the next generation went forward.
Have you ever considered how God’s creation is constantly changing but at a pace that we often miss? Change is something that comes gradual for us to adapt and when we fail to listen change can come at once to Wake Up those of us up that have fallen asleep.
