Prayer must have a vital place in our lives, but there is also a place for action. Sometimes we know what what to do, but we pray for more guidance as an excuse to postpone what needs to be done. It is very easy to put off something when we don’t want to face the truth and this is how Satan holds us back because he knows how weak we are when we allow things to pile up on us.
The object in this life is to seek God for our daily direction and make positive steps forward while trusting in Him to reach our goals. I challenge you today to not put off what you know in your heart that needs to be done and learn to trust in God to bring things together. It is our place to do the work and the longer we put something off then the harder we will have to work to overcome our issues at hand.
We all have detours in life when we allow Satan to throw us off track but the objective in every detour is to learn where we got lost so we can find the Way back…amen

The message resonates in my heart that we as Christians should lead by example. If we are going to have a ministry we should and are required to make sacrifices in order to have the testimony that God has for us. If we are going to be what God wants us to be, we have to humble ourselves before the Alighty God and seek His face for guidance. I don’t think that we should short cut that in any way. Just look at yourself and do an inventory on what is in our hearts. Don’t let things keep standing in your way of recieving God’s blessings.
Our lives are an example of our faith and everyday is to be a step forward in the direction which God provides. One of the hardest things to learn in this life is timing of when to move and when not. As the Lord teaches us in the book of Exodus some days we travel and some days we stay put until the Lord begins to take us forward. When the Lord has us in a waiting pattern we are to be content where we are and strengthening ourselves for the journey ahead. For it is not wise to take a trip if things are not in order…
