Can You Hear God Speaking?

January 12, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Can you hear the music that is being played in the spirit of God? Did you know that there is song being played in God’s love for His children from the leaves that blow in the wind and the stars in sky that light up the night? When is the last time that you ever tried to tune in with spirit of God without being consumed by the world? Do you take time daily with God and meditate on His Word? It is truly amazing at what we can hear in the spirit of God that can reassure us in our fears and let us know that He is near.

 Here is what I heard one day as I was writing a letter to my daughter;

 Dear Karlee,

You know I was thinking I need to teach you how to dance. One day when you are much older you will have someone to dance with and you need to understand the purpose of the dance and how to hear the music of God.

There is something very special when you are in the arms of someone who loves you and especially when you learn to work together in the spirit of God. The Lord teaches us how to dance in the Holy Bible when we open our eyes and ears to hear Him draw near. Think about it, the Lord teaches us how two can become one and how to move together in this physical dance of life.

Dancing in love is something very special and to never take forgranted! It is not in how fast we move but it is in how slow we dance that teaches us the true art of God’s romance. First we have to learn how to surrender and then when we learn how to commit is when God will teach us how to move like we have never moved before. It will feel as if our feet are being lifted from the floor because we will feel the spirit of God in knowing Jesus who is the One that is standing at the door.

You don’t speak in the dance. For you learn to listen for that gentle whisper upon your heart and this is when you will recognize God’s love from the very start. Don’t be shy and think you can’t dance because God will teach you the art of romance in this dance of life that has been given through our Father’s only Son Jesus Christ. So close your eyes and imagine being in the arms of our Father Heaven and hearing these words every time you put your feet to the floor in Him saying,” Good morning my child please open your ears to know that I am near and learn to dance without any types of doubt or fears. For I love you and I will never forsake you because my love for you is sufficient to always get you through.”

In this letter to my daughter if you truly have the ears to hear you will recognize the music that is played when we simply learn to stop and listen. For this message was not only intended for me to hear it is for you to know that God is near…Amen

Jesus Is Standing At The Door

January 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

This morning as I stood at the bedroom door of my son that was waking up the Lord inspired me to share a word with him that I am now passing on to you. My heart was full of love for my son as I stood there at the door and then as he was opening His eyes I said,” There will be a day that I will not be here any longer but do you know that Jesus will always be standing here at the door and He is always by your side?” My son nodded his head in agreement as I placed that reminding seed of comfort and accountability.

With this being said to my son here is the part that really touched my heart. That overwhelming feeling of love that I felt there for my son is only a fraction of the love that our Father in Heaven has for each of us. For Jesus is standing at the door waiting on us to Wake Up and enter into the arms of our Father in Heaven above. Jesus does not yell to wake us up nor does He jump up and down in making loud sounds.

For the Lord speaks in a gentle whisper of love with strength that soothes the soul…

Communication Is Living Art

December 17, 2010 by admin 7 Comments

Have you ever watched an artist paint as they brought a blank piece of canvas to life? There is alot to learn from an artist that knows how to use the primary colors in mixing two different ones to receive another color in return which is used to bring their picture to life. Colors are used by artist to express their inner thoughts and their emotions. From an artist perspective, as colors blend together this is the same principle in learning to communicate with each other.

If you were to analyze the very words that come out of your mouth how would they be reflecting your inner thoughts and displaying your emotions? Would you find your conversations productive and blending with others without restrictions in adding something to God’s picture of life? Or, would you find that you are painting a picture alone with hard lines and dark words that miss the meaning in blending our words in love?

Learning to communicate in a loving spirit requires the primary principles of how to stand and then we learn how to add color through our words and actions that brings God’s picture to life. In God’s picture there is love that flows from the mountain tops to the valleys in living water. This living water is displayed from the waterfalls to the rivers and then to the springs.

The lakes are fed from the springs that come up from below and they are like mirrors reflecting what they see. There are green meadows, blue skies and alot of God’s children playing close by. The wildlife is at peace due to the harmony in the spirit while everything in life is experiencing unity through the love of Jesus Christ…

As you can see our words can paint pictures and display our inner thoughts when we learn to look at what colors are coming up from our well. I challenge you to look at the colors that you bring into life to insure that they are adding something good verses something that could be bad. For who wants to paint a painting all alone and miss the relationship that we can have with our Creator on the eternal throne?

May your words add color and warmth to this cold world for others to see how to properly believe….Amen

What Is Your Dream?

December 13, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Too many times we allow Satan to spiritually divide us because we simply do not know how to trust in God and act in love. Why does this happen? Because we simply allow Satan to enter into our own minds and develop misconstrued thoughts without being obedient to God’s Word. The spiritual resistance that we encounter due to someones lack of faith or belief often restricts the growth and progress that can be attained in the spirit of God. The more that we tear each other down rather than uplifting and encouraging one another in love allows Satan to spiritually hold us back from the promises of God.

Learning to work within the Kingdom of God requires each one of us to serve one another however we can to help someone else discover their purpose in life through the love of Jesus Christ. For instance, it is my place as a husband to not change my wife but to encorage her to be who God has set her out to be.  We all have different heartfelt dreams and ambitions that can reach out to help others when we are willing to lend our support.

If you have a dream or a passion that God has given never give up or allow Satan to spiritually discourage you from achieving what God has placed in your spirit. One of the most inspiring things that we can ever do is helping someone else in the spirit of God to see their dreams come true…Amen

How Deep Is Your Love?

December 8, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever stepped on a frozen body of water and played on it as a child? Do you recall the sounds of the ice cracking as you applied more weight to the ice? Depending on the depth of the ice the sounds of the ice cracking can vary due to the amount of pressure that is applied. The object is when you are stepping on the ice to recognize the depth of the frozen water to insure just how far you can go. Because the further we travel on the ice in this world it can get thinner unless it is solid to the core.

This same principle is taught in the Word of God to help us fill our hearts with God’s love and to help us develop a solid foundation. For when we allow the love of Jesus to fill our hearts and soul, His love then spreads from the inside and should be reflecting on the outside. For instance the way we react shows the depth of our love and the trust that we place in the Lord. This is why some people crack when they hear the Truth and snap back out of spite instead of out of love and understanding.

So the next time you face something that is uncomfortable in your spirit learn when to apply pressure and when not to insure that you don’t fall into something that could take you under. This battle is not of flesh and blood it is between the spirits that guide us in our words and actions. Dealing with this world is like walking on ice and it is our place to teach in love with humility and strength in God’s Word…Amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
