Who Deceides Your Fate?

February 28, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very important that we learn how to listen and recognize what is of God compared to what is of man. In 1 Samuel 26 the Lord teaches us through the wisdom of David to insure our decisions to be of God and not to be of man. How do we do this you may ask? First we listen to what is being said and then we test it to God’s Word as we are taught in 1 Thessalonians 5.

In listening to someone that is giving direction it is vital to look beyond the immediate and to understand the future objectives before we jump on board. For if the objectives do not line up in the Word of God than the answer to the question is plain and simple. Don’t allow your decisions to be influenced by what you think you see without taking the time to understand the objectives. Always recall that when something is of God it will be serving others and that Satan will work in many ways to detour and try to stop what God is taking forward.

So before you make a decision it is wise to seek Godly council to insure the steps that you take. All someone can do is give you council and it is up to you to seek God for the confirmation you need to go forward. Don’t move without God guiding your steps in order to insure the foundation in which you stand…

Is Someone’s Blood On Your Hands?

February 18, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever really considered who sets you free and how this is done? Many people would say that Jesus is who set’s us spiritually free and this is correct. But if you were to ask many Christians what it is about Jesus that breaks the spiritual chains that hold us down a large majority would not know this answer. It is the Holy Spirit that draws us to Jesus in seeking the truth and when we discover Jesus we connect in the spirit in the Lord. For Jesus said in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The interesting part about this lesson of truth is that when we truly come to Jesus that He will give us a hunger for the truth that is fed in the spirit as we commit ourselves in the Word of God.  Jesus was the spirit of truth that came to life through the virgin birth of Mary and where so many converts backslide is by not committing themselves in the Word of God to deepen their relationship with the Lord and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform their life further into the truth.

Another reason that many converts backslide is because of our own lack of teaching and accepting the responsibility of discipleship with the individual that God has put in our path. How bad would it be to lead someone to Christ but then find out their blood was on our hands because we failed to follow through in helping them to walk on their own with the Lord?

Don’t Miss God’s Promise…

February 17, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Don’t allow Satan to spiritually deceive you into thinking that you are following Jesus when you could be being deceived by Satan. In Matthew 7:23 Jesus said,”And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” There is a very fine line to follow in our obedience to God through the love of Jesus Christ and where so many have become lost is in not knowing the Word of God and falling into the deception of Satan.

How sad will it be on the day that we are called home and for someone to hear these words spoken by Jesus in Matthew 7:23? See, Jesus is teaching the same lesson that was taught to the Israelites that were following God to the Promise Land but they failed to enter due to their disobedience to God. Some failed to enter due to worshipping their gold, some failed to enter due to grumbling and complaining, some failed to enter because they challenged God’s anointed, some failed to enter due to their lack of focus, and some failed to enter simply due to their lack of belief.

I don’t know about you but when that day comes that I meet my Maker the last thing that I want to hear is to depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Have you considered who you work for? In Colossians 3:23 we are told to do everything unto the Lord whole heartedly and don’t you think that if we are working for the Lord that we should be obedient to His Word?

This message is to uplift the believer and to Wake Up those that have possibly fallen asleep. Don’t get slack in your life for we never know the day that our time could be called. Are you ready? Are you caring something that it is not of the Lord that maybe could cause you to miss the eternal Promise of God? Don’t get stuck in this life and lose sight of the next…Amen

God Is The Potter & We Are The Clay

February 16, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in this physical life to get caught up in self and forget how God is the Potter and we are the clay. Everyday we encounter spiritual hands around us that are there to help shape us into who God wants us to be but too many times we take our eyes off of God and we place them back upon man. Being formed and shaped is not something that feels good until we recognize the Potters hand at work because often the areas that need to be addressed are the ones that have become hard and require the most pressure to get back in line.

The object is in being obedient to God in allowing His Holy Spirit to be the one that is directing the pressure and allowing Him to reshape us from within as we keep our eyes upon God. Have you ever formed a clay pot and learned the principles of not enough pressure and too much pressure to develop the vessel that is to carry the water or to hold the plant? Have you ever held up a clay pot to the light to insure there were no cracks in the vessel?

Throughout the Word of God He teaches us how He works through people to teach us lessons and to help us stay in tune even if we are bent out of shape. The next time something takes place that causes you to get bent out of shape seek God before you react to insure that you act in love. For there is nothing like being shaped and molded in the love of God to mature into the vessel that we are to be….Amen

How Deep Is Your Love?

February 14, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy to say the words that I love you and especially on special occasions but the real question is how do we show it throughout the year? If the one you love was to fill out a survey on the way you show your love how would you rank? Are you a good listener? Do you have compassion? Are you understanding? Do you consider the other before you consider yourself? Are you forgiving? Do you make them laugh? Are you encouraging? Or, are you just one of those that says the words with no depth and tries to display your love through some type of gift?

Now Jesus says that we can tell who or what someones loves by the fruit that they bare. Have you considered the fruit of your tree or is there any fruit at all? In our human nature it is easy to become lazy and take forgranted the love that we have but always remember that we never know the day nor the hour that we or someone else will be called home. It is my prayer that every individual that reads this message will not take forgranted the life that they have been given and learn to love others as we want to be loved in return…For there is no better treasure than the love of God in our hearts and soul...Amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
