The Trickery of Satan

March 21, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever been at a point where you felt as if you could not trust someone and that you had to watch every move they made? Did you ever feel like if you missed something that it would be the very moment that something might take place? Spiritually Satan works in our minds with distrust because he knows how it can rob us and in-prison our spiritual being.

When we have lack of trust this displays our spiritual immaturity and it can lead to a controlling spirit. Within this controlling spirit Satan will try to misguide us in our  human efforts instead of understanding the true meaning of love.If you are holding on to something in distrust then you are allowing Satan to spiritually rob you of the blessings that could be right around the corner.

Jesus knew that Judas was a thief and Jesus knew that Peter would deny Him but did He allow this to detour His love or distract Him from the mission? Jesus plainly taught us Psalm 118:8 in placing our trust in God instead of placing confidence in man. When we learn how to place our trust in God is when the Lord will bring down the spiritual walls of Satan that restrict us from the blessings of God….

God Is In Control…

March 18, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

God is always at work in this world even when we can’t see what He is doing. No matter what kinds of pressures we must endure or how many changes we must face God is ultimately in control of our situation. Being confident of God’s sovereignty, we can face the difficult situations in our lives with love and boldness.

With God in our lives we have positive attitudes in every situation. For we know that where we are or what we are going through is only temporary…

The Greatest Blessing…

March 17, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

We tend to think in our human nature of blessings in terms of prosperity rather than the high-quality relationships God makes possible for us. No matter what our economic situation, we can love and respect the people that God has brought into our lives. In so doing this, we give and receive blessings. Love is the greatest blessing.

Don’t hold back something you can give in love! For when we hold back is when we limit the blessings that can be received…

How To Reach The Other Side…

March 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

How careful are you to obey the instructions of God? The older generation that traveled with Joshua in the wilderness took God’s instruction too lightly and they missed the boat to get to the other side. Don’t be fooled spiritually by Satan and think that you can reach God’s promise without being obedient to His Word. Until we learn how to work together in the love of God with unity and without strife between us we will only continue to stand at the edge of the river in wishing that we can get to the other side.

How can we achieve something if we don’t know how to work together in one spirit? The object is to know the spirit that is guiding us and to follow as God instructs. This same principle applies in our relationships from our homes to our careers. For what kind of relationship can we truly expect if all we do is work against one another instead of learning how to work together in the unity of God?

How Deep Are Your Words?

March 3, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

There are two typesof words with alot of others in the middle. The pendulum of words are either fed from Heaven or from hell. We are in the middle of the pendulum and if our words only serve self then we might as well say we are serving Satan. Think about it! When you tell someone you love them do you really mean it? In 1 Corinthians 13 it says,”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

It is easy to say words but as Jesus teaches us our actions show who we are. Do your words have depth and meaning or are they shallow and easily cracked? Words are very powerful and can paint a picture? The objective is to recognize the spiritual artist that is guiding your actions. For if the picture has life then it is being driven by God but if the art is self serving then it is being driven by Satan.

So, the next time you speak and the next time you do a self evaluation recognize your spiritual driver in order to insure that your picture adds something positive to life. For what good is life if we are just a zero without something to add and especially if we are doing something negative that will take away?

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
