Don’t allow Satan to spiritually deceive you into thinking that you are following Jesus when you could be being deceived by Satan. In Matthew 7:23 Jesus said,”And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” There is a very fine line to follow in our obedience to God through the love of Jesus Christ and where so many have become lost is in not knowing the Word of God and falling into the deception of Satan.
How sad will it be on the day that we are called home and for someone to hear these words spoken by Jesus in Matthew 7:23? See, Jesus is teaching the same lesson that was taught to the Israelites that were following God to the Promise Land but they failed to enter due to their disobedience to God. Some failed to enter due to worshipping their gold, some failed to enter due to grumbling and complaining, some failed to enter because they challenged God’s anointed, some failed to enter due to their lack of focus, and some failed to enter simply due to their lack of belief.
I don’t know about you but when that day comes that I meet my Maker the last thing that I want to hear is to depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Have you considered who you work for? In Colossians 3:23 we are told to do everything unto the Lord whole heartedly and don’t you think that if we are working for the Lord that we should be obedient to His Word?
This message is to uplift the believer and to Wake Up those that have possibly fallen asleep. Don’t get slack in your life for we never know the day that our time could be called. Are you ready? Are you caring something that it is not of the Lord that maybe could cause you to miss the eternal Promise of God? Don’t get stuck in this life and lose sight of the next…Amen
