Child Like Faith

August 4, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy to see the physical differences in people and allow these differences to cause a division within the overall body that create a barrier for us to overcome. These divisions that can come between us not only rob us of the blessings of God but they also open the door to Satan to spiritually misguide us into forgetting how we are to work together as One in the body as children of God.

Jesus tells us that we will never enter into the Kingdom of God unless we become like little children and this is where we often miss the boat as we mature. A child does not judge an individual for what they have or for where they have been, for a child just looks for the love in the individual without any partiality from within. Another part of the child like faith is that they are still teachable in their tender hearts without becoming stuck in their ways to miss what God has before them.

I challenge you today to open your heart and recall what it was like to be a child to hear the message that Jesus wants us to hear…

Are You Following Or Neglecting

August 2, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In The book of Luke 10 Jesus teaches us how to be alert and recognize the needs of othere’s that have been robbed not only physically but also spiritually by Satan. Through a lesson of a man that was robbed by thieves and left in a ditch Jesus teaches us to help those that have been abused without just walking on by.

If you notice in this lesson the very ones who claim to follow the Word of God were the very ones that walked over him in the ditch and passed him by. Can you imagine what their conversation must have been with the man in the ditch as he reached out to them in need of help? Jesus tells us that the priest saw the man before he arrived and he just decided to avoid him by stepping to the other side. The next person that walked on by was the temple assistant who acknowledged the man in the ditch probably with an offering of prayer to feel like he did his part before stepping over him.

Helping someone is more than just offering our prayers for those that are in need and placing our responsibilities on others to do our part. We never know who God might place in our path daily to test our faith and to see how we follow. If God has put someone in your path that may be in a ditch don’t avoid them and look the other way. For Jesus tells us to love thy neighbor as thyself and if you were the very one in the ditch how would you feel when your brother or sister in Christ just walked on by without hearing your internal cry?

Are There Barriers In Your Life

July 31, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

It is very easy to see the physical differences in people and allow these differences to cause a division within the overall body that create a barrier for us to overcome. These divisions that can come between us not only rob us of the blessings of God but they also open the door to Satan to spiritually misguide us into forgetting how we are to work together as One in the body while respecting each part for the roll that we all carry.

To help us break these barriers between one another it is vital that we recognize that there are only two types of people in this world. We are either a child of God that serves the Kingdom or we are a child of Satan that seeks the world. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught us how to live in the world but not of the world while instructing us to love the enemy in hopes that the enemy would recognize how God’s love is for all people.

As a child of God in this world it is very critical that we teach our children how to avoid these divisions in the body of Christ by teaching them how Satan wants us to be robbed of who we are. The day that we are given life as a child of God it is important to recognize how Satan has been already at work in the family to destroy the foundation of the home that is needed to raise our children. As God’s children mature they are in constant attack spiritually to be robbed of who they are to limit the amount of work that they can do in helping others along the Way.

A good example of this is how men prey on women to satisfy a selfish desire that is being triggered in an emotion. The spiritual deception that works in our sexual desires is a very dangerous emotion to recognize because Satan works strongly in these desires because he knows how they can rob someone of who they are and how they can cause us to feel like something that we are not. Our emotions are critical to recognize in how they can misguide us and cause us to do something that we would later regret. This happens in all aspects of life from buying something that we do not need, from saying something that we should not say, doing something that we should not do, and even quitting on something because we feel that we can do no more.

When we allow our emotions to guide our lives it is very easy to become suppressed and lose the direction which God provides. This world is full of pressures that come from every corner and when we do not teach our children how to handle their pressures in the Word of God through the self discipline that is required to maintain what we have been given then we are only setting our children up for a hard road in the future.

Teaching does not only come in books but in the example of how we live our lives in this world. When God gives us the gift of our children it is our responsibility to not only provide for them but to teach them in our words and actions how to rise above the hardships that we encounter from time to time to eliminate any divisions that can cause a separation within the body. When we begin to look at every human being as a creation of God then this helps us to look past what we physically see and this displays to others in whom we believe.

I challenge every reader that reads this message to take a step forward in faith to break down the barriers which may be holding you back. Often all it takes is for one to make that first step in love to overcome where we have been and then to help others along the Way. Sometimes that first step that we take in humbling our self is all that is needed to set others free…amen

“But even more blessed are all who hear the Word of God and put it into practice.” Luke 11

The Foundation Of The American Flag

July 30, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever stopped to watch a flag blowing in the wind? It moves so graciously in the freedom to no end. As you watch the flag in the wind, you can see the importance of its’ foundation from which it stands.  As the flag moves in each direction blowing in the wind, begin to feel the freedom within its’ grace and this is when you will begin to appreciate our freedom that God has given us in this beautiful place!
There are times the flag may rest and other times it will stand strong but all that really matters within the freedom of the wind is that the flags foundation holds to the very end!

It is in this appreciation we will find no other country in all of mankind!

In The Father’s Hand

July 29, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There is nothing like being molded and shaped by our Father’s hand. He picks us up when we are broken and gives us hope when we can see no more. He fills us beyond our wildest dreams and gives us strength when we are too weak to even speak. The Lord comforts us when we feel all alone and He never stops loving
us even when we have been bent out of shape.

For our Father’s hand  is gentle but strong and all that He wants is for His children to serve Him and learn how to get along…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
