The Climb…

October 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

How can we expect to find the Way if we can’t see the Way? For walking in faith requires keeping our eyes upon the goal with our hearts in tune with God. The Way we walk and talk should reflect the love of Jesus as we travel this journey in life and along the Way we are to help others in our path that have lost their Way. Sometimes those in our path might not be lost but they are there for a purpose to encourage and help us along the Way.

The journey might seem long at times but as we endure the race there are no words to describe what we begin to see as we turn that corner with in whom we believe. For as we come to the end of one path is when we can see another and within every path the road it is a steady climb on the mountain of God. As we climb this mountain it is wise to know our steps and to always reflect upon the path in order to stay in tune. For it is when we neglect where God has brought us from and especially who got us there that we will lose our step on the mountain of God causing us to fall to the valley in order to start all over again.

There are disciplined skills involved to climb the mountain of God guiding every step of the Way. If you were to look at your life today where would you see yourself on the mountain of God or would you find yourself lost in the wilderness looking for the Way? Would you be one of those at the foot of the mountain yelling discouragement to those in the climb or would you be encouraging along the Way? Enjoy this song this morning by Miley Cyrus titled The Climb http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG2zyeVRcbs and may God give you clarity in your climb as He shows you the Way….

Disciple For The Future…

October 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Empowering leadership is a critical stage of maturity and learning how to build within the instruction of God. This is one of the most neglected areas in leadership due to several reasons. Some leaders simply become consumed with their responsibilties and they fail to balance their time in recognizing the next one to fill their shoes. While some leaders simply allow their own pride to grow out of control so they never learn the art of true leadership which is called sacrifice in giving up something for someone else. Then there are those that have the title but know nothing about true leadership as a servant for the people due to their own personal desire of power and allowing their position to take presidence as an idol before God.

In Exodus 18 we are taught true leadership skills and we learn how to apply them to our lives by empowering future leaders of today. Moses not only gave certain delegates authority but he allowed them to make decisions in the best interest of the people. These leaders under Moses not only seeked God for their direction but they taught us the importance of Godly council and they assumed responsibility for their actions.

Where the disconnect has taken place in todays time is where many men have forgotten to how stand togther in the unity of God with accountability between one another. Instead of taking responsibility for our actions or standing with each other many individuals have forgotten about what it means to be loyal to God in properly serving each other. For where there is no honor within our word there is no stability within our foundation.

Learning to empower future leaders by giving them the responsibility to make decisions not only displays our maturity in Christ but it teaches the upcoming generation how to build upon the foundation which has already been established. Too many times we cause our foundation to crack simply because we forget the real reason that we are here and what holds us all together.

As a leader where ever we are it is vital that we open up our eyes to the next generation and learn to train our future leaders as we learn to walk beside them and be behind them as they learn to walk on their own. For if all we do is hold their hands and not allow them to learn for themselves under God then how can we honestly expect them to ever stand on their own when we have to move on?

We all have a responsibility under God as leaders and it starts first within ourselves and within our very home. We have a responsibility under God as parents to set good examples in faith with our children and teach them how to make Godly decisions without allowing the world to guide their actions. Unless we teach this in our very homes then how can we honestly expect them to empower the future leaders of tomorrow? Leadership is not only about making good decisions but is about training the next generation…

Be Alert & Trust God…

October 4, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

So many times in life when we ask God for something we often fail to recognize what He puts right before us. Throughout the Word of God the Lord teaches us to be alert to all things but far too often we miss very things of God because He often shows up in places that we least expect.

It is in our nature to ask for immediate results and then overlook how God gives us just enough to get us through. If we were to receive everything that we asked for how would we know how to trust and appreciate what God has given? When we ask God to help us, be alert for the parting of the seas but learn to appreciate the manna that always supplies our needs.

It is how we learn to walk in life and serve with what we have been given that God will bless us with something more. I challenge you today and every other day to recognize what God has put right before you rather than wondering about something and possibly missing the very blessing which you could receive. ..amen

Spiritual Warfare Tactics…

September 29, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

If you were to study spiritual warfare you would find that the art of war is to walk behind the enemy lines and learn the weaknesses of the opponent in order to turn their weaknesses into strengths. As the enemy walks in the camp he or she opens the doors for others of its kind to enter. The object of the enemy is to infiltrate the camp to the point where its opponent gets weak and to those who don’t surrender then the enemy will take them out in order to gain control.

This is what has taken place here in America and if we don’t WAKE UP to this Truth then we better prepare for what is sure to come! God has given us dominion over this earth but without the knowledge of His Word and the discernment between good and evil then we are prey for the spiritual enemy of Satan. Tactfully Satan has slithered into the homes and robbed many fathers of how to be men of God. Then from this the spirit of Satan has slipped into many churches to gain control from the pulpits in order to weaken the people and to cause disunity within the body. This disunity has caused many other denominations to bring further division within the people by causing many to fight for the head position that has been already put into place through Jesus Christ. With all of this and much more this warfare tactic this has allowed Satan to seize control through ungodly leadership which is tearing down the American country.

God gave us this country as He gave the Jews Israel and if we don’t WAKE UP to face the Truth then our days of freedom are numbered before the spiritual enemy of Satan seizes control! If you want change then it first starts with you and then it spreads to your home then to your community and then to the nation. If you were to seriously look within your home who would you find in control? Would it be God or would it be Satan? If you think that you are in control without admitting that God is first then you are only deceiving yourself and giving victory to the enemy….I pray that America WAKES UP to this Truth and begins to recognize where we got off course in order to turn back to God for our children’s future….

What Kind Of Fan Are You?

September 27, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever noticed how many of the fans in the stands of a hockey game rise up during a fight? Have you ever noticed how many fans in Nascar tend to be waiting on a wreck as the race intensifies? Have you ever noticed how many reporters are waiting on something juicy to report in the news that tears someone down instead of lifting someone up? Or, have you ever witnessed someone when climbing a mountain with God how many people stand around waiting on the fall instead of encouraging them to reach their call?

There is a spiritual lesson behind all of this when we open up our eyes to look beyond the moment to receive the overall message. First off all we must recognize that this battle here is not against flesh and blood but spiritual powers beyond the human eye. As we recognize that Satan is here to steal, kill, and destroy and begin to break everything down to simply good and evil then we can discover the spirits which often guide our actions.

As the crowd chanted for the crucifixion of Jesus we can witness within many hockey games the chant for a fight. As we listen to the crowds at Nascar speaking of a wreck we can witness life and death in the tongue. Like the reporters who want to crucify an individual instead of reporting something that will lift someone up. The same spirit of jealousy or disbelief often waits at the bottom to pounce on someone as they fall. What is wrong with this picture? God’s Word teaches us that everything that is good is of God and everything that is bad is of the devil. Don’t miss this spiritual message and if you find yourself sitting around waiting on someone to fall maybe you are the one missing God’s call…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
