Listen To Our Father’s Voice…

April 13, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

A few years ago I heard a true story from a friend who had a young son that would not listen. He shared with me about an experience and a lesson that took place with his son and how the grandfather got to witness the consequences of his grandsons wrong actions as well. They were all standing outside in the yard talking while the young son kept stomping on a shovel kicking the handle up in the air.

The father kept telling his son to stop it because if he kept on he could get hurt. As the two elders continued their conversation the young child that would not listen continued to disobey and stomp on the shovel throwing the handle in the air. The father warned him once again but with a stronger voice in hoping his son would take heed but sure enough the son still chose to not listen.

With the fathers voice getting more sturn and the child becoming more defiant the father chose to sit back in order for a lesson to be learned. It wasn’t long after that when the child stomped on the shovel that it came up so quickly that it nailed him right between his eyes. The child then ran to his father with tears of pain and the father did not scold him but comforted him in love.

See this lesson of a father allowing his son to get hurt due to his disobedience did not mean that he did not love the child. The father knew that if his son would not listen that the best lesson learned is a lesson from the consequences of his actions. Can you see how this lesson relates with us today through our Father in Heaven above? Why is it that we choose to not listen and that we have to be hit between the eyes to see?

When we choose to not listen is when we simply have to learn things the hard way….

How Good Is Your Word?

February 22, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Here is something that many people fail to comprehend due to their lack of understanding in the Word of God. The Lord plainly test us everyday through people and events that take place but we fail to see this due to looking at man instead keeping our eyes upon the Lord. Our word as a Christian is to be our bond, for the Lord tells us not to make an oath nor promise because our answers should be as simple as a Yes or No.

Due to the lack of understanding between men and women and getting away from the Word of God many have forgotten our responsibility in giving our word and once we do, it is our place to follow through. The object is to insure that our commitments are of the Lord and not a commitment that is of the flesh. When we give our word it should be a bond under God and it is our place to trust the Lord for the outcome without trying to control something ourselves. The problem that we have reached today is that we have no value on our word due to forgetting the line that we are to follow. We often fail in thinking that someone is not a person of their word because something did not happen in our time line verses understanding the time line of the Lord.

So, the next time you make a decision or decide to make commitment under God consider where you place your trust to insure that your word won’t be broken. There is no going back once we start to move forward! For every decision that God begins He is the One who decides the outcome. For it is better to place our trust in God than to place our confidence in man…Psalm 118:8

America Needs To Face The Truth…

February 19, 2011 by admin 6 Comments

Like Israel’s history The United States of America is at a point of moral failure and close to collapse due to our disobedience in serving the will of God. Throughout history the facts are before us in what happens when we drift away from the Lord in our homes and in our nations. It is evident today of what is sure to come due to this disobedience and the actions of the people that are rioting around the world.

There is a fire burning in the Lord’s anger towards our disobedience and if we do not begin to face the truth in what is right before us and humble ourselves in repentance then we should prepare for what is sure to come. Without Godly leadership in our homes and in our nation this brings on rebellion and disorder due to the oppression upon the people and due to the lack of understanding in the Word of God.

There is complete chaos without Godly council and leadership in place and this is evident in what just happened in Egypt and how the journalist from America were beaten and even raped. How blind are we in America? How far must we fall into the pit before we accept the truth in what is taking place in foreign nations and here in the United States of America? For this battle is not against flesh and blood it against spiritual principalities and powers beyond our human comprehension.

This lack of spiritual understanding led naive journalist right into something that they can’t even understand in thinking that they are the ones under attack. How ignorant do we have to become before we see that without the hand of God protecting us that there is no safety wherever we travel. The Lord gives us the wisdom to understand what we are up against and He will protect us in our obedience to His Word. Don’t be naive and think that we can do this on our own for the Lord will soon show us just how weak we are as we drift too far.

Study history and the book of Judges to see the rise and fall of Jerusalem to see for yourself why they fell and how they stood again. Do we have to repeat this cycle of history once again here in America or is there still time to salvage where we are for our children’s future? Only God knows this answer and it is up to how we return to Him in how He will bless us again with the freedom between our family and friends.

America is not indestructible and in fact it is very vulnerable today due to the lack of Godly direction in our leadership and the lack of self discipline that is being displayed throughout our country. Our homes are not safe without the hand of God upon us and it is my sincere prayer that America begins to Wake Up to this truth that is being directed by the Lord.

The reason for such spiritual oppression here in America is simply because of our lack of understanding of the importance of discipline and compassion to maintain the balance and order of this country. One without the other allows Satan to spiritually rob us of our freedom in our homes and in our nation. There is a time for compassion and a time for discipline and when we allow our compassion to over take the discipline is when we are setting ourselves up for complacency and the acceptance of things that are simply not right by God!

Look at what is taking place in Wisconsin as we speak in the lack of order and direction from the leadership between the leaders and the people. The ones on the top don’t want to make their own sacrifice while looking for ways to cut the ones on the bottom. The problem is elevating due due to the lack of Godly council to maintain order and the the lack of Godly wisdom being displayed in leadership to work through the issues that they have at hand. This same issue that is taking place in Wisconsin is headed for each and every state here in The United States of America like a domino affect from one domino to the next.

The problem is obvious but no one wants to face the truth due to trying to avoid something that is sure to come in facing reality. The truth hurts when we have to open ourselves up and when we have to make decisions that affect others but if we don’t Wake Up to this truth then prepare for things to only get worse! There is nothing worse than avoiding the truth in survival and murdering innocent victims due to our pride that causes us to try and fix things within our own power. We have no power and are hopeless without God and until America Wakes Up and faces the  truth the fall will only get worse in our homes and in our nation….How far must we fall before we realize who holds us up???

God Is The Potter & We Are The Clay

February 16, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in this physical life to get caught up in self and forget how God is the Potter and we are the clay. Everyday we encounter spiritual hands around us that are there to help shape us into who God wants us to be but too many times we take our eyes off of God and we place them back upon man. Being formed and shaped is not something that feels good until we recognize the Potters hand at work because often the areas that need to be addressed are the ones that have become hard and require the most pressure to get back in line.

The object is in being obedient to God in allowing His Holy Spirit to be the one that is directing the pressure and allowing Him to reshape us from within as we keep our eyes upon God. Have you ever formed a clay pot and learned the principles of not enough pressure and too much pressure to develop the vessel that is to carry the water or to hold the plant? Have you ever held up a clay pot to the light to insure there were no cracks in the vessel?

Throughout the Word of God He teaches us how He works through people to teach us lessons and to help us stay in tune even if we are bent out of shape. The next time something takes place that causes you to get bent out of shape seek God before you react to insure that you act in love. For there is nothing like being shaped and molded in the love of God to mature into the vessel that we are to be….Amen

Detours Help Us To Develop Character

February 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever considered the purpose of a detour?

See a detour is there to get us back to where we are going but they can also teach us new ways of direction as we travel the new roads to reach our destination. Not only do they teach us new ways to develop our character but they can also teach us where we got off course and help us to see things that we would not normally see.

Here is another interesting part in God’s wisdom about a detour. Often the detour is there not only to teach us something new but it is there to help repair the main road that has been damaged by the elements of the world. Sometimes detours are there for us to simply get our lives back on track before we miss the boat.( There is something deep within this message for those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear)

How do you react when you face a detour in life? Do you 1st look at it to recognize if you were the one to bring it on yourself before you blame someone else? In your detour are so pressed for time or angry because something disturbed your plans that you do not even recognize the lesson that God has right before you?

The next time you encounter something as a detour in your home, your work, in your travels or simply in your life look at it for the spiritual message instead of allowing Satan to miss what God is trying to teach you through your detours in life….

Don’t get hung up and miss the boat!!!

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
