Quality or Quantity???

September 8, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever considered the importance of quality over quantity? Due to the spiritual deception of the devil the American culture is now seeing the results of selling its birthright since the formation of this country and we can often witness the same results in our relationships today. When we feel as if we don’t have time when we really do this is where we lose our balance in this life and it can affect the next generation.

Think about it! Why are so many ancient structures still standing when our buildings today fall in one gust of wind? Why do you think that within this generation we are witnessing so many children falling to drugs or to crime? Why do you think the divorce rate is so high and we are witnessing families falling apart? The simple answer is the lack of God centered time which is driven by love without being driven by the world.

Whatever you build whether in your families or in your work build them with quality time to maintain the longevity in life. For what good is something if there is no substance and it sways in the first winds that come to knock it off course?

Focus on The Promise & Not The Storm…

May 6, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Due to our human nature of complacency and what takes place when we lose our perspective in why we are here is when storms tend to come into our lives in order to bring us back to the very beginning. See it is very easy to take for granted what we have until it is taken away and unless we maintain our balance within the Word of God then we better prepare to be thrown around in the wind.

Don’t get caught up in the lives of one but learn to look at the body through the eyes of the Lord to see how we are all just a individual cell. Each cell can be broken down into different atoms and these atoms represent our surroundings from our homes, our work, our church, our community and our nation. It is when allow Satan to misguide our focus that we tend to forget the commandments of God. When we neglect this is when an infection can set up in the body that can grow out of control until it is brought to our attention.

Like any infection sometimes they have to be washed, scrubbed or even removed to insure that we get to the root of the infection that is affecting the overall body. This life is not about external growth or material wealth it is about the internal growth with God that carries us forward. It is when we forget this that we better prepare for what is sure to come in discipline to correct the infection before it deteriorates the overall body…Amen

Here is a song by Casting Crowns that will help in any storm…Praise You In The Storm

Are You Listening For God?

January 11, 2011 by admin 2 Comments

Throughout history God has spoken in mighty ways through nature to get our attention and to display His Holy power from flooding the earth, speaking through the burning bush, sending plagues, parting the seas, and through a donkey to deliver a message to you and me. The Lord speaks to us in many ways through signs and wonders everyday but as we learn with Elijah that these signs and wonders are there to get our attention and for us to learn how to listen.

1 Kings 19 “Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.

Learning to listen for God requires us to hear His Words that are placed upon our hearts and God speaks to us everyday but as we learn in Job 33 that we often miss what is right at our feet because we have fallen asleep to the Word of God. Are you awake? Are you listening for God? Are you seeing the signs of the times? Are you sure that you are following God and not being misled spiritually by Satan?

It is very wise to slow down at times to insure the steps that we are taking without allowing Satan deceive us in our emotions. For all Satan wants is for us to jump before we are ready. Are you ready? Can you hear that still small voice? If you want to hear God then simply be still and listen….

A Butterfly In The Wind

November 17, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Our children are like butterflies that start out so gentle with skin that is soft to the touch. Their spirits at birth are fragile and easy to crush until they learn how to fly on their own in the spirit of God. Teaching our children how to stand and how to fly is essential for the days that they have ahead because if we fail to teach them the Word of God then they are subject to land in a place without intention.

This world is full of winds that can blow us all around and some that can even take us down. The Word of God is a foundation that can’t be moved and it is imperative that we teach our children His Word and lead by example. If your children were to describe your life as a butterfly in the wind how would they say you react from within?

We never know which way the wind may blow or how the storms may come but if we teach our children how to be anchored to the rock of Jesus then they are better prepared for the day they have to fly on their own. Please click on this brief vidieo clip of a song and relax a moment to enjoy the peace of God instead of trying to chase the wind…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmC3rJR7E98&feature=fvsr

Stay The Course Inspite The Winds

November 3, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Life can be an emotional roller coaster when we fail to place our trust in God and we take matters into our own hands. Learning to communicate in love can be a strenuous thing in our flesh but when we learn to keep our eyes on the cross rather than the obstacle that may be before us is when God will carry us to the other side.

Seeking what is right by God rather than what we think is right for ourselves helps us to maintain a steady coarse without all the ups and downs. Just because we may have done something one way for so long does not mean that we can’t try something new. Think about it; The wind blows in many different directions and sometimes gentle with other times very strong but does this mean that we are to lose site of the objective? Absolutely Not! This just means that we learn to entrench ourselves in the Word of God to develop our senses as we are taught in Hebrews 5:14.

Then it just becomes application as Jesus taught us in Matthew 10:16 in being wise as a serpent and then as gentle as a dove. If your life is full of ups and downs don’t allow Satan to rob you of your joy. Stay the coarse and learn to trust God while being anchored to the Rock of Jesus who teaches us the Way…Amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
