Seeds Of Sin…

April 20, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Throughout the Word of God we learn of heartaches and hardships that develop in our lives simply due to not addressing the roots of sin. The longer we allow sin to grow it not only affects  our life but it also has a negative affect on others. Many people overlook how their sin impacts someone elses’ life due to caring more about themselves instead of properly loving thy neighbor.

It is very easy to allow Satan to spiritually consume us and the Lord taught us this message with Cain from the beginning of time. For in Genesis 4 the Lord said to Cain,“Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

When we allow a seed of sin to enter our lives without addressing it immediately then we are allowing that seed to grow roots that will continue to grow out of control. This is why God’s Word tells us in Ephesians 4,”Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” It is my prayer that we don’t allow a seed of sin or lack of faith to rob someone else of their joy…amen

When To Stand…

April 4, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

In 1 Samuel 20 we learn a valuable lesson on sacrifice between Jonathan and David. Jonathan’s own dad (Saul) had allowed jealousy to consume him to the point he wanted to kill his son’s friend David. The interesting part within this lesson is when Jonathan spoke to his father about David and how the anger inside Jonathan’s father then transfered towards his own son. Jonathan then developed righteous anger towards his fathers wrong actions not for what he had done to him but for what he was doing to his friend David.

The lesson is this,”Do you become angered towards the injustice towards yourself or for the wrongs that are being done to others?” Our life should not matter because God has given us the Way to handle this but when wrongs are being done to others then we have a responsibility under God to stand for one another. Isn’t this the same lesson that Jesus taught? Isn’t this the same lesson He showed on the cross?

Think about it! In your love of Christ we should be able to handle someone doing us wrong through the instruction of God as Jonathan displayed with his own father but this does not mean that we are to allow someone being spiritually misguided by Satan to hurt the ones we love. If someone was to speak evil words about someone in your family would this not get you up out of your seat? What is this difference between someone in our immediate family at home and another brother or sister in Christ? For if we are true believers this would in all be the same…amen

The Trickery of Satan

March 21, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever been at a point where you felt as if you could not trust someone and that you had to watch every move they made? Did you ever feel like if you missed something that it would be the very moment that something might take place? Spiritually Satan works in our minds with distrust because he knows how it can rob us and in-prison our spiritual being.

When we have lack of trust this displays our spiritual immaturity and it can lead to a controlling spirit. Within this controlling spirit Satan will try to misguide us in our  human efforts instead of understanding the true meaning of love.If you are holding on to something in distrust then you are allowing Satan to spiritually rob you of the blessings that could be right around the corner.

Jesus knew that Judas was a thief and Jesus knew that Peter would deny Him but did He allow this to detour His love or distract Him from the mission? Jesus plainly taught us Psalm 118:8 in placing our trust in God instead of placing confidence in man. When we learn how to place our trust in God is when the Lord will bring down the spiritual walls of Satan that restrict us from the blessings of God….

Does Your Life Have Purpose?

March 14, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Some people invest all their energy in pursuit of money, success, possessions or a career. If these idols were taken away only an empty shell would be found. The only way to protect yourself against such loss is to invest your life in the living God whom you can never lose. The Lord teaches us to help others and when we help someone else in true love then we are investing back in the Kingdom of God.

Have you considered your investment in the Kingdom or are you too busy trying to hang on to what you temporarily have here on Earth? Don’t allow Satan to spiritually misguide you in greed or in chasing false idols because in the end you will find that your life was empty and without purpose. There is nothing more inspiring than to discover your purpose in life through the love of Jesus Christ and serving within the Kingdom of God. If your life seems empty and void then seek God’s Word for your life to take shape in truly discovering who you are as a child of God.

The Principles of Balance…

March 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever considered the importance of learning to Balance the loads that we carry? Think about it! Can you see how a plane or a boat would struggle in its performance if their cargo was not properly Balanced? What would happen if the cargo was not properly secured or anchored when turbulence entered the course?

There is alot of wisdom to this if you will meditate on this message with God. Because when you look at your physical life as a boat you will find that Satan likes to weigh you down like himself who is confined to the ground. Now on the other hand, once you learn who floats your boat and how to keep it above water is when Jesus can teach you how to fly.

The object is to learn how to distribute our weights and learn what could be holding us down due to the lack of understanding in the Word of God. You want your marriage to take off? Put God in the center! You want your business to have new life? Put God in the center! You want your life to have purpose and your load to be light? Then learn how to Balance with God and allow Jesus to set you free!!!

Because there is nothing worse in this world than to feel as if we are drowning because we never learned who floats our boat and who sets us free…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
