Make A Difference…

November 23, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

We must never rely solely on our own wisdom or skills. But it is equally wrong to sit and do nothing when there are still actions we can take to overcome certain problems. Do all that you can to fix the problem then trust God to do His part.

James tells us “Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.” So in other words if there is something you can do may you be encouraged today to make a positive difference in the Kingdom of God through the love of Jesus Christ…

Addressing The Seeds Of Sin…

July 26, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

In Matthew 18 the Lord teaches how to properly address a believer who sins against against you. He does not say to not speak up nor does He say to run around gossiping with everyone else but He says to go directly to that person to point out the offense. One of the hardest parts of this process is having the self control and not allowing our emotions to override God’s instruction. For the Lord say’s to love thy neighbor as thyself and that means speaking to others in tones that you want them speaking to you.

Another vital part of this message is that Jesus does not say to overlook the sin. Because He knows the consequences of a sin that is not addressed in how it can cause another stumble. Notice that Jesus said if your brother or another believer sins against you here are the instructions to follow. He did not speak of how we were to address a non believer but I have found that when a non believer does something in offense that I have simply stated to them in love that what they have done is simply not right by God. By this statement it points them to a higher accountability rather than wanting to take up a defense with myself.

This lesson is vital to comprehend and to follow. For if we leave the seed of sin planted without it being addressed then it will only manifest into something that will cause further division and separation.

Honesty Opens The Door To Freedom…

May 2, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in this human life to avoid the Truth that sets us free. The longer that we avoid the necessity of studying and applying Gods Word to our lives the further we will fall into the darkness of this world. Without examining our inner most self  on a daily basis this opens the door for Satan to spiritually plant something that we never see coming.

Like cancer, sin that is contained within can spread throughout the body and infect many parts. The sad part is how we tend to cover up our sins or hide them due to our pride because we are too worried about how someone else may look upon us instead of being more concerned in how the Lord sees us. We all know people that are hiding things as we have done so ourselves but until we can learn to be open and honest in accepting who we are under God then we will remain in the chains of bondage.

There is nothing worse than to be under conviction while in sin and continuing to give Satan victory over our lives due to our own pride. Way too many times we choose to avoid the Truth due to the initial pain but when we learn to make that step is when God will take care of the rest. If you are struggling deep down inside with something or maybe carrying a deep hurt it is our prayer that you will seek the light of Jesus Christ to see your way out of the darkness…Amen

Right Your Wrongs…

April 21, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever faced a decision or a situation when you knew what the right thing to do was but you chose to do different? Can you recall the weight of conviction after your wrong actions? Those who have been born again are seized by deep conviction when they sin. If they do not repent they are always “spanked” by God for it. Is this true in your life? Have you ever been spanked? Are you under conviction now? Do you pass the family test?

Way too many times we allow our pride to miss the blessings of the Lord due to simply not taking responsibility for our wrong actions. As any loving parent speaking to their child it starts as a gentle voice then elevates from there as the child continues to disobey. The object is to recognize the Voice of Truth in our spirit without allowing the conviction to become so heavy that we become blind to what God is trying to teach us. This is where Satan loves to get us spiritually because the deeper we fall the harder it is to pick ourselves back up.

It is my sincere prayer that if you are living under conviction for unrepentant sin that you will step up to the plate to bring what is right out of your wrongs. What matters most, how you look before man or how you look before God? Maybe you are simply under conviction for not attending fellowship or not obeying God’s Word. If so, I pray that you will step up to the plate and learn to face the truth in order to allow the love of Jesus to set you free…Amen

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin…James 4:17

Seeds Of Sin…

April 20, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Throughout the Word of God we learn of heartaches and hardships that develop in our lives simply due to not addressing the roots of sin. The longer we allow sin to grow it not only affects  our life but it also has a negative affect on others. Many people overlook how their sin impacts someone elses’ life due to caring more about themselves instead of properly loving thy neighbor.

It is very easy to allow Satan to spiritually consume us and the Lord taught us this message with Cain from the beginning of time. For in Genesis 4 the Lord said to Cain,“Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

When we allow a seed of sin to enter our lives without addressing it immediately then we are allowing that seed to grow roots that will continue to grow out of control. This is why God’s Word tells us in Ephesians 4,”Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” It is my prayer that we don’t allow a seed of sin or lack of faith to rob someone else of their joy…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
