Are You Vulnerable For The Attack?

January 29, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

How deaf or naive must we become before we recognize the hand of God at work in allowing a lesson to take place in our life or in our nation due to our disobedience in the Word of God? Have we as a nation here in America reached the point of no return in the downward spiral of our moral decline and the lack of integrity being shown in man?

As any father that loves his children we allow lessons to come upon them when they simply won’t listen and this same principle is applied today with our Father in Heaven within His creation. Throughout history there are many valuable lessons of Truth that can be recognized in the Holy Bible and applied in our obedience and disobedience in the Word of God. It first starts on an individual level and then spreads to our homes, then to our communities and then to our nation. There is evidence all around the world today of what is to come when we drift away from teaching and holding ourselves accountable under God for the actions that we take. Look at Egypt this week and what is taking place as just one example of many in what happens in the lack of godly leadership leading the people and teaching the importance of trusting God instead of taking matters into their own hands.

With godly men and women in leadership positions that are willing to serve the will of God instead of something for themselves this opens the doors for the blessings of God to fall back upon our homes and our nation. This has been understood before in leadership and can easily be reflected in Genesis 45 with Pharaoh in Egypt in his recognition of the spirit of God working through the life of Joseph. During this term with Pharaoh and Joseph there are many valuable lessons that can be applied today in order to help prepare us for tomorrow.

Ronald Reagan once said, “Within the covers of the Bible are all the answers for all the problems men face.” And he later said, “We are never defeated unless we give up on God.”

Throughout the Word of God we can witness this lesson of the rise and fall of nations when they turn their backs on God or when they begin to prostitute the Lord as Israel was doing in the time period with Eli that had fallen to complacency and obesity. Look at today’s time period with Europe and how many of their churches are empty with no direction for their future. How about America in the economic debt, moral decline and obesity within the nation that is taking place due to the disobedience in following the Word of God?

How many times does history have to repeat itself before we simply see where we have gone wrong? Does the fall of the Roman Empire have to take place again here in America today due to the over sized government and the burdens that are being placed upon the people? How long do we have to live in a moral and economic decline before our leadership Wakes Up to this Truth in order for our nation to be here for our children’s future?

When we stay close to God He not only protects us but He gives us the wisdom to recognize the seasons that we are in to prepare for what is to come. In spiritual warfare that we often forget when we get wrapped up in the world, the enemy works to distract us in foreign areas or affairs in order to make us vulnerable for the attack that is sure to come within our home. This warfare principle works on an individual level to a national level with the same principle that can be applied when we lose our balance in where we stand.

No matter where we are or the position that we have been given by God as a mother, father, teacher, business owner, pastor or a government leader don’t allow the spiritual enemy of Satan to distract you in areas where you become weak and vulnerable to the world. As a child of God, we have a responsibility to stay alert and to keep our relationships alive for the security of our children’s future and to maintain the integrity within our homes. This is much bigger than what we think and we can not live this temporary life without the Lord guiding us in our homes and in our nation. How long must we lose our hearing before we return to God to help us clean out the wax of the world that is causing us to be vulnerable to the enemy and lose our standing within our own homes?

When we learn from our past is when we can make something stronger for our future….

Can You Hear God Speaking?

January 12, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Can you hear the music that is being played in the spirit of God? Did you know that there is song being played in God’s love for His children from the leaves that blow in the wind and the stars in sky that light up the night? When is the last time that you ever tried to tune in with spirit of God without being consumed by the world? Do you take time daily with God and meditate on His Word? It is truly amazing at what we can hear in the spirit of God that can reassure us in our fears and let us know that He is near.

 Here is what I heard one day as I was writing a letter to my daughter;

 Dear Karlee,

You know I was thinking I need to teach you how to dance. One day when you are much older you will have someone to dance with and you need to understand the purpose of the dance and how to hear the music of God.

There is something very special when you are in the arms of someone who loves you and especially when you learn to work together in the spirit of God. The Lord teaches us how to dance in the Holy Bible when we open our eyes and ears to hear Him draw near. Think about it, the Lord teaches us how two can become one and how to move together in this physical dance of life.

Dancing in love is something very special and to never take forgranted! It is not in how fast we move but it is in how slow we dance that teaches us the true art of God’s romance. First we have to learn how to surrender and then when we learn how to commit is when God will teach us how to move like we have never moved before. It will feel as if our feet are being lifted from the floor because we will feel the spirit of God in knowing Jesus who is the One that is standing at the door.

You don’t speak in the dance. For you learn to listen for that gentle whisper upon your heart and this is when you will recognize God’s love from the very start. Don’t be shy and think you can’t dance because God will teach you the art of romance in this dance of life that has been given through our Father’s only Son Jesus Christ. So close your eyes and imagine being in the arms of our Father Heaven and hearing these words every time you put your feet to the floor in Him saying,” Good morning my child please open your ears to know that I am near and learn to dance without any types of doubt or fears. For I love you and I will never forsake you because my love for you is sufficient to always get you through.”

In this letter to my daughter if you truly have the ears to hear you will recognize the music that is played when we simply learn to stop and listen. For this message was not only intended for me to hear it is for you to know that God is near…Amen

Jesus Is Standing At The Door

January 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

This morning as I stood at the bedroom door of my son that was waking up the Lord inspired me to share a word with him that I am now passing on to you. My heart was full of love for my son as I stood there at the door and then as he was opening His eyes I said,” There will be a day that I will not be here any longer but do you know that Jesus will always be standing here at the door and He is always by your side?” My son nodded his head in agreement as I placed that reminding seed of comfort and accountability.

With this being said to my son here is the part that really touched my heart. That overwhelming feeling of love that I felt there for my son is only a fraction of the love that our Father in Heaven has for each of us. For Jesus is standing at the door waiting on us to Wake Up and enter into the arms of our Father in Heaven above. Jesus does not yell to wake us up nor does He jump up and down in making loud sounds.

For the Lord speaks in a gentle whisper of love with strength that soothes the soul…

There Is Power In Prayer

January 7, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.  Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.  Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,  let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins…James 5:13-20

GOD Still Stands & Can Restore Our Homes

January 1, 2011 by admin 6 Comments

GOD has layed on my heart to share with all of you a childhood prayer that I thought was only a dream which I now know has been heard by our Father in Heaven above in bringing unity and strength back in the family of GOD. I pray that whoever reads this brief message will feel the love of GOD and the presence of His Holy Angels that are all around when we seek Him with repentant hearts for our children’s future. May GOD speak to your heart and inspire you in this brief testimony of restoration below to step up to the plate in the mirror of GOD for our children’s future.

As a child I used to cry at night for my parents that fell to the deception of Satan in chasing what the world has to offer and forgetting my brother and I at home. My mother struggled to keep my father planted and eventually she could not hold on any more because my earthly father showed no signs of taking root in the love of GOD for his wife and children.

My mother endured through many heartaches and physical pains that brought blood and financial loss in her love for her children. As the older brother at the age of 9 I would cry out for my earthy father to leave my mother alone in his temper that raged out of control. I ‘ll never forget when the separation of my parents finally came in how they never set  us down in love to explain.

Yes, we were young in years but we were their children that deserved some type of love and compassion. In my mothers fight for survival she lost her footing with the Lord due to the winds of sin from my father and the temptations of the world.  She fell away from church and godly people because she did not want to deal with her situation in the mirror of God due to the pain that she was carrying on the inside. The ones that she did surround herself with from the church lived a lie because they were only someone else in disguise.

As a young child without the discipline of GOD in my home and having parents that placed their responsibilities on others this led to a state of heartache beyond words for the love of GOD that I knew in my heart. Many nights I would sit out under the stars and cry out with such a pain that was ripping my heart in two due to our broken home and feeling all alone.

All I wanted was my earthy fathers arms of love around me that would teach me how to behave and to be a better man. Without the love and discipline of a godly father figure in our home this opened up the door for Satan to spiritually scatter each of us into the unknown. My younger brother surrounded himself with female figures that allowed a spirt of deception to fall upon him homosexuality because no one in the family was strong enough to speak the Truth in the Word of God and simply tell him this,”The road you are taking in homosexuality is not right by GOD!

The same applies to me as well in my parents not standing on the foundation of GOD as a young child and helping me in my state of rebellion. Without the instruction in the Word of GOD being taught to us in our homes this only led to further pains and darker days ahead. I’ll never forget the clear nights under the stars with my heart crying out in pain and especially the nights at my grandparents hiding in the field with tears that fell like rain.

But today 30 years later and through a hard journey of seeking the love that I knew in my heart I can honestly sit here today and tell you that GOD has answered my prayers and turned my tears of pain into tears of joy that no man can explain! Not only has my life been restored but my mothers as well along with many others that God has placed me around. The Lord has taught me wisdom that no school can give and restored me with a beautiful wife and two loving children that I pray never have to journey the roads that I have traveled.

I praise GOD today like I have never praised GOD before because I know my real Father in Heaven and I realize that as a parent we are only given our children as a gift with a personal responsibility to help guide them in the right directions through the love of Jesus Christ. It is our place to stand on GOD’S  Truth for our homes to stay intact for our children’s future and when we fail to do this is when Satan will destroy what we have been given.

With this brief testimony it is my prayer as a father, as a brother and as a son to spread the Truth of  how God can restore us when we are willing to face our wrongs in the mirror of God with repentant hearts for our new life to begin through Jesus Christ. What a journey it has been with dreams that I never thought could be reached but God has shown me that nothing is impossible through Him when we truly believe and we are willing to endure through the hard times in order to reach the good times.

If you have a heartfelt dream of wanting peace and experiencing God’s unconditional love then may I encourage you to never give up or lose hope! For when we learn from our past without allowing Satan to take us down in it further is when God will show us the Way to rebuild and strengthen the foundation from which we stand.

The Lord says in Malachi 3 that if we will return to Him that He will return to us and that He will restore our homes with blessings beyond our imagination. I stand today as a humbled man of GOD in telling you that GOD’S Word will not not come back void when we learn to apply His instruction to our lives and obey HIs Word.

It is my sincere prayer that America WAKES UP to the TRUTH of GOD for our homes and our nation to be restored for GOD’S glory and not our own…Amen
