Beware Of False Teachers

November 26, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

As we are taught in 2 Timothy 4 “A time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.”  The results of this weak teaching are before us today and evident in our society through the lack of morals in the people and the lack of obedience to God’s Word.

Men have forgotten how to be men and this has allowed Satan to spiritually misguide many children due to the lack of standing on the Truth of God in our homes and in our nation. No where in the Holy Bible does God permit homosexuality! In fact God’s Word plainly teaches us that it is an abomination to the Lord. The world likes to tell us different due to seeking the acceptance of the people but shouldn’t we be more concerned with the acceptance of God instead of man?

The Holy Bible teaches us how to develop our inner spiritual being and how to develop our senses between good and evil to maintain the integrity within the body. Without this teaching from the Word of God our children and our nation will be lost in a downward spiral of sin that is guaranteed to take us down in a pit of no return. The Holy Bible helps us to develop the spiritual seed of God that we have as children of the light and it also exposes the spiritual seed of the enemy in the darkness of this fallen world. This is why the world hates the gospel and the world rejects the Truth.

Unfortunately, many pastors and leaders have taken the side of the world in not speaking out against sin due to their fears of the people and not wanting to take a stand. This has in turn re-channeled their focus on what the people want to hear instead of what they need to hear for our children’s future. By catering to the itching ears of the people it is easy to develop a following and to build an empire that is destined to fall. The Kingdom of Heaven is not about the acceptance of sin nor is it about financial prosperity. It is about truly discovering who we are and how to maintain what we have been given for God’s glory and not our own.

Don’t be fooled with false teachers that try to mislead you in the acceptance of sin or in God’s promise of financial prosperity! God’s Word promises us that if we will be true to His instruction that He will give us just what we need to succeed. Anything more than our needs is just a blessing for being obedient to His Word and is given to us so we can bless others.

The Kingdom of Heaven is about peace in the family of God that is held together in the love of Jesus Christ! This life is about learning how to stand and how to walk on the road while helping those in the ditch to see the Way. For it is better to hear the whole Truth than to miss the door in the End…amen

The Riches Of Heaven

November 26, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Due to our human nature we often describe prosperity in monetary means. Unfortunately, this has even been preached from pulpits with pastors preying upon their listeners  without properly teaching the true meaning of prosperity. This prosperity message has caused many people to stumble and become discouraged because they falsely give while looking for something in return. This same principle has been used with people in leadership positions in giving publicly because they need the people verses understanding the dependency of God.

True giving expects nothing in return due to the fulfillment that we receive from our Father in Heaven for being obedient to His Word when He directs us in the Holy Spirit. There is nothing like feeling the presence of God and knowing that our deeds are a sweet aroma to our Father in Heaven while allowing Him to have all the praise. The riches of Heaven are not about monetary means for they are about the love that is shared in the family of God.

All of God’s children are the jewels in treasure chest of Heaven and anything else is just a blessing from God! Don’t be fooled with false teachers that mislead the the people with prosperity messages because the best treasure is a family that is being held together in the love of God that carries forward His will throughout the generations…Amen

Love Thy Neighbor

November 24, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever witnessed the joy in watching a newborn child take his/her first steps? The first steps of an infant are the hardest steps of their life due to their fears of falling. You would think that their feet weigh a thousand pounds in the effort that it takes for them to take their first step. Once they make this first step every other step gets easier as long as they continue to try even after their fall.

Our children have a security in the arms of a parent that surrounds them in love as they begin their walk in life. This security gives them an inner confidence that helps them to develop a strength in their walk as they grow from day to day. There is a parallel to the steps of a newborn child learning to walk in relation to the steps of a newborn Christian. Based on the Word of God we are to be there for our brothers and sisters in Christ just as we are there for our children in their first steps in life.

We all know that a child will fall in the early stages of their walk until they learn how to stand on their own. Why is that when we see a child fall we have compassion and even help them up but when we see an adult fall we won’t even give them a call? Why do we forgive our children over and over but when another adult offends us we cut them out as if they mean nothing at all?

What is wrong with this picture based on the Word of God? If we are going to call ourselves parents lets be parents and if we are going to call our self a Christian then lets be a Christian. Learning to love is not something that only takes place in a brief period of time. Love is something that grows deeper and deeper the more we learn to love thy neighbor as thy self…

Teaching A Child To Walk

November 23, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In the love that we have for our children it is easy for us to carry them but there comes a point that our children need to learn how to walk on their own. We are to be that anchor that is rooted in the Mountain of God to give His guidance through the Word when they may stumble or fall. Every child needs to learn how to pick them self back up after a fall and learn how to not allow their fears to prevent them from standing and walking again.

What is it that drives a child of God to walk? What is it that drives our children to step further than before? The answer is simply one four letter word, LOVE!!!God’s love for us can motivate us to walk like we have never walked before and our love should be teaching the same. Do you recognize the parallel between the love of our children and the love that our Father in Heaven has for us?

The Lord encourages us as we are to encourage others in return. Learning to encourage one another in the love of God gives us a strength like we have never known and a sense of security in case we fall because we know God’s true love covers all. This same love that we have for our children is the same love that God wants us to have in the family of God. When someone falls be there to help pick them up! If someone is in need reach out however you can! If someone is hurting let them know that you are there! And if someone simply needs some encouragement show them that you truly do care…amen

The Love of A Child…

November 22, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

As we grow old ,if you have not noticed, it is easy for us in our human nature to lose the vibrancy that we once had as child. This vibrancy gave us energy, drive, laughter and joy in the love that God gives us in the family of Jesus Christ. Lets really think about this a little further in depth to get where God is trying to take us.

As an adult when our bones tend to ache, why is it that we don’t tend to hesitate when our child reaches up and ask for us to pick them up? Our children tend to stretch us in ways that take us out of our comfort zones and they can even try our patience. Without thinking how many times have we ever reached down to pick up that child and then later figured out that they were heavier than we expected? Do you see where this is leading?

Now, lets take this same principle into the family of God. When a new child is born no matter the age they often have an energy that can ignite someone else. This passion of a child should never be suppressed due to our minds getting in the way because God gives us newborn spirits in Christ to reignite our youth. This same principle parallels our children and grandchildren because their joy can uplift our spirit.

A childs love can not understand why another holds back their love. A childs love does not understand why their parents won’t pick them up. And a childs love just learns to deal with the ones that don’t know how to love in search of those that do…Amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
