Be Wise To The Waters

October 7, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Did you know the bigger the house the more room for clutter? The bigger the house the more expense is required to maintain the clutter. Here is the interesting part that takes place in our human nature when our lives or our homes are full of junk. We fail to recognize how to let go of something until we have no choice but to watch it fall.

The object is to be wise to the waters that slowly rise and to the waters that slowly fade away. When we build our lives, our homes and our nation on these principles then we are better prepared for the tides as they come and go. It is when we forget this simple economic principle that we lose balance in what we have been given and then we try everything to stay a float.

Our boats can only carry so much and the balance is crucial to maintain the coarse. Without God as our Captain in our lives, our homes and in our nation then we are destined to be swept away in the tides of this world. When we keep our lives in tune with God He will prepare us for what is to come and He will show us the Way…amen

It Is Time To Clean House

October 6, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever noticed how over time we tend to allow things to build up in our homes and in our attics? Did you know that this same principle happens in our lives with the things which we intake from unhealthy diets and from over consumption of foods? This principle also occurs in our work when we have too many unneeded steps which creates added expense with loss of productivity in simply just getting the job done.

Life is not that complicated and decisions are not that hard to make when we learn how to seek God for our direction and then simply take responsibility for our actions. We all make mistakes and we all have things that can build up in our lives but until we learn how to clean house and recognize what we need and don’t need the clutter is only going to hold us back.

If you were to departmentalize every section of your life and look at these areas as a back pack that is full of the stuff that you carry would you find things that maybe are needed as well as things that are not necessary?  Maybe you are carrying something within yourself such as anger, pride, jealousy, greed, lust, unforgiveness or self pity that simply needs to be released so you can begin your journey. Don’t allow the clutter in your life to cause confusion and if it is then take the steps needed in love to clean the dirt that is holding you back…amen

Our load should never be heavy and it is wise to know how to climb the mountain with God…

Are Your Treating Life As A Gift?

October 5, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in our human nature to get caught up in our day to day activities to the point that we forget the will of God because we are too busy chasing our own desires. Spiritually Satan wants to attract us to the world and to all the activities because when we fall to this then we often lose touch with the life that God has given. When we lose touch with life then we have little regard for life and this is exactly the spiritual plan of Satan in wanting us to take our eyes off of others and only place them on ourselves.

This life is no joke and the life that you have been given is a gift from God. For if He wants to take your life He can and if He desires for you to live then it is in His hands. Are you treating your life as a gift? Or, are you being disrespectful to the Giver? If our life is a gift ,which it is, then how are we treating the life of others in the love that we have been given?

The Lord instructs us in His Word to be a good steward over what we have been given and I am challenging you today to pay close attention to everything that you have in your family, friends, jobs, and in yourself to insure that you are treating the life that is all around you as the gift that it is…amen

Things Are Not Always What They Seem

October 4, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

So many times we allow ourselves to be robbed of the blessings of God because we allow something that we think that we see to separate us from what we believe. It is in our human nature to make assumptions and look only upon the issue at hand but when we learn how to look beyond our circumstances is when God will show us something else to help us reach the other side.

We often we never make it to the other side because we jump ship when the waves get rough but when we learn how to stick together for what is in the heart then God will often give us a new start. It is during these times of the waves that we face that God will reveal to us the things that we might need to replace and during these times we often find our true friends that will last a lifetime….amen

Are You Headed For A Dead End?

October 1, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

One of the most awesome lessons that Jesus Christ ever taught us is how to look beyond what we see to help us insure the steps that we take. So many times we jump in our emotions because we think this is the way that we are to go and then we find out when the road comes to an end that this road was not the one to be traveled.

As we mature in Christ and in studying God’s Word we learn that life is much simpler than what we tend to make it out to be. The reason that life becomes so  complicated is because we fail to allow God to direct our steps and we often take roads that we should not have traveled. The awesome part about taking roads with dead ends is when we discover the wrong turns that we have made before we fall off of the Edge of the cliff.

Do you feel as if your life is too complicated? Do you feel that your problems are too big to resolve? The reason we often complicate things is because we try to raise ourselves into some intellect that we are not. People tend to be offended when they don’t receive an intellectual answer because they simply don’t want to feel foolish. How sad is this that we allow ourselves to be ignorant and miss the simple solutions that we have right before us? All we have to do is learn how to face our issues in the belief that Jesus will take us to the other side and learn how to balance on the waves in the sea while doing the work that it takes to reach our goals.

This same lesson of simple solutions was taught through Elijah and fulfilled in the same with Jesus Christ. I challenge you today to not allow Satan to spiritually keep you in bondage and think that your problems are too big when they are really pretty simple. All we have to do is learn how to lay down our burdens at the foot of the cross and learn to allow God to give us the strength we need to make the decisions that need to be made.

Just because we come to the end of one road does not mean that we are to give up but learn how to turn around in the love of Jesus and allow God to show us the road that we are to travel…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
