Make Godly Decisions

October 18, 2010 by admin 2 Comments

Making a life changing decision is not something that should be rushed nor made without seeking Godly council to help us insure the steps that we take. So many times we allow our emotions to misguide us in our decisions due to the temptations of our own desires that eventually have a negative impact on someone else.

To simplify our decisions without over complicating our answers we should ask ourselves this question,”Is this decision being led by God?” If we can answer this question without hesitation and acknowledge the commitment that we are making then we are on the Way to something better in building something for someone else rather than ourselves.

Often when we hesitate in our decisions it is because we are unsure and we have not taken the proper time in seeking the council of God to insure the steps that we take. This is why our divorce rate is so high in America and children are without their parents due to parents acting in their emotions without thinking about the future. It is vital that we take the time to seek God before we make changes that can affect the future. For if our decisions only serve our self then we are making the wrong that will eventually hurt someone else…

Jesus taught us to look beyond what we see to hear what needs to be heard to insure the steps that we take…

America’s Future With or Without GOD

October 16, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

In the Holy Bible God teaches us a valuable lesson in leadership in order to maintain the security within our homes and maintain the integrity within our nation. Due to America’s continuous drift away from the Word of God and allowing the world to gain control through men and women that achieved their positions by worldly measures this has caused our nation here in America to be in the shape that we are. If this drift continues without men and women that are willing to make a stand in seeking Godly council then we are headed for worse things to come.

The Lord taught us this valuable lesson of leadership in the book of Samuel with the people of Israel wanting a King because they wanted to lean on man instead of holding themselves accountable to God. The Lord warned us of what would come when they rejected Him and if you look at our society today in comparison to what the Lord said in 1 Samuel you will find the paralell to this message.

Why is it that we want to lean on man instead of God? Because God holds us accountable for every single word and action that we say or do and He pushes us to be the best we can be without falling lazy in the world. Leaning on man without holding ourselves accountable to God allows us to get by with things that are simply wrong because we tend to settle for things less than what God teaches us to maintain the integrity within our homes and our nation.

 Let’s look at the first lessons that God taught us through Samuel in leadership with the people of Israel and note the parallel to the Gentiles here in America when our founding fathers selected Presidency in our nation. Our founding fathers new the importance of keeping God first as Noah Webster, known as “The Father of American Scholarship and Education” and author of the Webster’s Dictionary once wrote;

“In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect(party) of the candidate – look to his character….It is alleged by men of loose principles or defective views of the subject that religion and morality are not necessary or important qualifications for political stations. But the Scriptures teach a different doctrine. They direct that rulers should be “who rule in the fear of God, able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness.”

In 1 Samuel God taught us the importance of our leadership being rooted in the Word of God through the life of Saul and the life of King David. Saul was a man that had the appearance but failed in the character qualities of being a successful leader because he simply leaned on man for his relationship with God. This brought selfish motives that hurt the people and caused a lack of peace in the land. Where David on the other hand had developed a personal relationship with God and was willing to stand for what was right and wait on God to bring things together. Yes, King David eventually fell to sin but don’t we all stumble when we drift away from God and allow ourselves to be driven by selfish motives?

Within these two men we can discover the importance of our leaders seeking Godly council for their direction and what hapens when we allow Satan to spiritually entice us to give in to the pressures or temptations of the world. Kinda like President Clinton (as King David) giving in to Monica Lewinsky or President Bush (as King Saul) chasing  Saddam Hussein out of anger. This same principle takes place in the leadership of our homes and how we all can fall when we do not root ourselves in the Word of God and learn to trust in Him instead of taking matters into our own hands.

The future integrity of our homes and The United States of America simply relies on whether we keep God first or whether we put Him second. It is time that America Wakes Up to the Truth and seeks Godly council to restore what He has given us in our homes and in our nation. For with God we have security, purpose, and order without the confusion of the world destroying our children’s future…

Unconditional Love

October 15, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In the Word of God it teaches us to unite and serve one another in unconditional love without partiality. Why is it that we can’t even do this in our churches muchless in our own homes? Have we forgotten the command of loving thy neighbor as thyself and learning how to unite in our heart and mind? Have we as Christians allowed Satan to spiritually enter into our own minds that we can’t even trust our own brothers or sisters in Christ?

It is pathetic in how much distrust is in the world and how it has entered the church. This is what happens when we drift away from the true teachings in the Word of God and we forget who is really in control. The lack of true love that is being portrayed in the body is restricting the spirit and causing disunity within the family due to the lack of trust that is being portrayed.

When we learn to love unconditionally there is a bond that can’t be broken and this love is what encourages others to build higher than before. If we can’t stand on the Rock in unconditional love then maybe we still need to be introduced to the Rock that we have not met.   For if we are claiming to stand on the rock but we are showing partiality to some then where is this injustice coming from?

Unconditional love is what God has given to us in His mercy and grace and the question is are we displaying this same love because we are seeking His face? Don’t come up short when your time is called for it would be sad to hear those words to depart from me for I never knew you…

God Is The Artist Of The Future

October 14, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There are storms that we can see and there are storms that we don’t see. The storms that we are often blinded to are the ones that affect our spiritual lives in our day to day activities. Think about it; Have you ever noticed how evil attracts evil but good attracts good? Or, have you ever noticed how greed attracts greed and love attracts love?

It is when good and evil collide within us that storms can come our way. The object is to recognize the different spirits that we are dealing with to insure the path that we are on and the path that we are to take. So many times we live in a spiritual unsettlement within ourselves because we don’t know how to trust in God verses placing our trust in man. When we learn how to look for the qualities of God that comes in the fruit of the spirit this helps us to settle the distrust that we tend to carry.

I challenge you today that if you are holding on to something in distrust to let it go and learn to place your trust in God instead of keeping it within man. It would be a shame to hold someone back because of our own lack of trust that we claim to have. Do you trust God? Jesus did. Did Jesus hang Judas or did Judas hang himself? If you are holding on to the rope learn to let it go and allow God’s love to flow…amen

Let go of the brush and allow God to paint the picture….

Need Oil For Your Lamp?

October 13, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There is alot of wisdom in nature when we learn to pay attention to the behavior patterns of different animals. Have you ever noticed how different animals act before a change in the weather comes upon them? For instance deer tend to eat before a storm and bears tend to prepare for winter hibernation as migratory birds tend to change their location.

Humans are the only ones that tend to neglect the signs of the season that is to come. We tend to think that we can avoid the inevitable because we are so naive to the Truth. Jesus warns us of this in the end times and He teaches us to always be alert. Are you alert to the signs that are before us or is your lamp out of oil? It is very hard to see in the darkness of this fallen world without the lamp of God showing us the Way.

If your life seems dark or it seems to be traveling in circles learn to let go of yourself and seek God for the direction that you need. So many times we come up short because we lean on others to fill our lamps with oil because we neglect how to keep them full ourselves….amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
