You know we all need a little spiritual nip and tuck from time to time in order to shape up something that could be out of place. The Lord teaches us to hold each other accountable in the Word of God because He knows how we like to cover up something that might need to be addressed. It stings when we get nipped at in the Word of God but when we learn to look past the one who is sharing the Truth to hear how God is speaking to us through the Holy Spirit is when we can see how God wants us to address something in order to improve our future.

 A spiritual workout is no different than a physical workout and if we expect immediate results without recognizing the self discipline and commitment which is required to reach our goals then we are only covering up the real issue at hand. The world likes to sell us quick fixes without the pain but if we don’t learn to appreciate the pain then we will never fully appreciate the rewards…amen
