The Heart Of A Champion…

October 19, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever felt the spirit of opposition and allowed it to stop you from something you knew and desired in your heart? Did you ever look around and allow the spirit to oppress you due to your past failures or due to the lack of belief? When God gives us a vision or desire in our heart we should never allow Satan to spiritually discourage or rob us of our purpose in life. Sometimes in order to break through the oppression we have to step out of the box to see the Way.

Throughout time man has set up perimeters to follow and these perimeters are what Jesus often spoke against due to man following tradition instead of listening to the heart. Our God is of order and He teaches to obey authority but He is the one who qualifies man as it is validated in the spirit of others. We never know where God may be working and all it takes is the eyes to see and the ears to hear as we come together in the spirit of God to witness amazing things in His glory.

God tells us in 1 Samuel that He does not see as man sees. For he does not look upon the outside appearance for He looks upon the heart of man. David came out of no where and was the least of his brothers but had the heart of God. If you were to look upon your heart and ask what God may see would you find the heart of a champion or a heart that has grown tired and weary. The Lord can refresh your spirit as you call upon His name and He is often working in places that we never see due to forgetting how to truly believe. This spiritual message paralells the movie Secretariat as God displayed the heart of a stallion that went against all odds to set new records. It took the belief and sacrifice for a family that recognized the heart within one to uplift others….Enjoy this brief movie trailor on Secretariat  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftFMenGAd2A&feature=relmfu to further relate this message….

The Heart Of Our Father…

October 18, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

It is when tough times come upon us that we often see the true heart of men and women that rise to the occasion to help and serve others. Unfortunately, some have to be put in a corner with no way out but to fight but this fight in this world is not physical for it is spiritual. Throughout the years there have been many movies based on true stories like Secretariat that displayed the heart of a stallion and others like Cinderella Man that displayed the heart of a father during the depression. The spirit that drove Secretariat and Russel Crowe in Cinderella Man is where I want your attention.

For it is the spirit within all living things that gives us life and God speaks to each of us everyday when we learn to look for Him to hear the real message instead of getting stuck only on what we see. Jesus did not come to teach us about what we see He came to show us how to believe. For God may speak in one way to one but He may speak in another way to another. The object is to listen from the heart with our eyes upon God instead of man.

As each of these movies lift our spirits it is obvious in why they are often forgotten due to the attention stopping on the physical instead of staying focused on the spiritual. For when we learn to give all glory to God as we uplift the power in Jesus name it is then that the attention goes to the One that gives eternal life through the love of Jesus Christ. Always be alert in hard times for it is then when we can often find God at work in places we never expected to see.  May I encourage you to watch this movie clip of Cinderella Man to recognize the heart of a father during the depression http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eyr8jTH1YN4 . Never are we to ever give up or lose hope no matter the cost!!! For the price has already been paid and there is Victory in our corner!!!

God Is The Way & The Road Is Narrow…

October 14, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Picture yourself being at the foot of a mountain standing next to a creek and looking up to see everything in the world from good to evil. The evil has now disguised itself in the world as a ‘chameleon’ snake which changes its colors to adapt to the environment. We can now see how the snake has infected many homes many churches many work places many schools and many leaders. This infection of the snake has spread its venom to a point that we see many struggling due to the lack of true love being shown.

This is where we praise God in the valley as we begin our journey to climb. Because it is when God gives us the eyes to see and the ears to hear that we can learn how to reach our destination. Here is a piece of wisdom to always recall as you begin your climb,”Sometimes we have to be at the bottom to see the Way back up to the top. Because once we begin to ascend we then have to rely on the guide to show us the Way. Along the Way we have to learn how to follow our hearts and learn to discern between good and evil. For the evil is there to hold us back due to the Kingdom impact. The object is to never lose our perspective in the climb and to learn how to be wise as a serpent but gentle as a dove.”

One of the most awesome things toi ever discover in this life is to walk with Jesus as God shows us the Way. May I encourage you to take a moment today to analyze everything around you and in you to insure that there is nothing hindering your climb nor someone else’s. Climbing on the mountain of God is an awesome experience as we learn how to work together in serving one another…Enjoy this song The Narrow Road http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUzXKQb1VG4 by Rick Pino and I pray that you seek God for every step that you take as you discover your purpose in life through Jesus Christ….

Our God Is A Mountain Mover…

October 12, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever noticed the principals behind mountain climbing and asked God to teach you the spiritual message behind the climb? This may seem out there to some of you but if you will truly listen to the message I believe you will see the Way. In the book of Ezekiel we learn that the spirit is in everything but far too often we get stuck missing the spiritual due to only looking upon the physical.

Take a professional mountain climber for instance and compare this activity to our daily task in life. For a mountain climber does not climb mountains everyday. He or she studies which mountains to climb and then there is a preparation period before they step foot on the mountain. There are different mountains for different climbers for every mountain serves its own purpose. This does not mean that any mountain climber is any better than the next because they all have something to share from their journey. For there is a purpose for the valley just as well for the mountains we climb.

Learning how to walk in life should be a steady climb towards the kingdom of God. There are times for the plateau and times for the down hill journey and within these times of the ups and downs God teaches us along the Way. It is when we come to that understanding that God is with us and that He is directing our steps that we discover a whole new excitement in life as we discover that our purpose is no longer our own.

I challenge you today to seek God for your direction and have no fear of any mountains you may see. For our God is much greater than he that is in the world and all things are possible through Jesus Christ who caries us forward. For our God is a mountain mover as we simply learn to trust and obey…

Always Look Up…

October 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

We all have mountains to climb and mountains to overcome. Within the climb of these mountains it is very wise to know every step that is taken and that we are fastened to the rock of salvation. For mountains move when we learn how to follow Jesus and listen for the inner voice of God that directs the Way. During your walk you will experience many obstacles and hindrances from time to time some directly of Satan and through others who simply lack understanding.

For the mountain of God has many different stages and once we get to the place where God wants us to be then we are to help encourage others along the Way. There is a place and specific purpose for each one of us in the climb. Unfortunately you might witness some on the mountain that have capped their mountain due to the extra effort that is required to continue on. While there are others that simply forget how to keep their eyes uplifted to Heaven and they freeze up because their eyes are too focused on the ground and the what if’s if they slip and fall. So what if we fall and get bruised up in our climb! Does this ever mean for us to not get up and try again? Absolutely not!!! We just learn from our past in order to climb higher than before. The mountain of God is the most awesome mountain to ever encounter for there is no limits nor heights that can be reached as we learn to climb in the discipline of God as we balance ourselves with the cross. For His ways are much higher than our ways and the longer we keep our eyes on the ground the more we miss of Him along the Way….
