The Best Medicine

October 21, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There are two stages of emotions that can arise spiritually from Satan when we do not know how to recognize them and subdue them in the name of Jesus. One is the immediate emotion that tempts us to act before we think and the second stage is when we allow the evil spirit to manifest in our minds to the point that it can grow into something that it should not to restrict or divide our relationships at a later date.

So many times when we do not release the seeds of anger, jealously, bitterness, unforgiveness or pride they grow into something that causes us to be easily confused and tend to cause us to have shallow relationships with no depth in understanding.  When we do not know how to communicate in love and release the things that are holding us back then we often find ourselves either depressed or very temperamental.

The world disagrees with this because they do not understand it and they can’t make any money off of it. The best medicine that we can ever experience comes in the Word of God in complete honesty with nothing to hide…

History Is A Tool For The Future

October 20, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever considered the importance of studying history not to to just learn the stories but to learn where and why something went wrong? So many times we get caught up in knowing the stories in history that we forget the main reason in learning from our past to possibly prevent something in our future.

The Lord gives us the stories in the Old Testament to teach us how to be alert spiritually to evil and to recognize something in sin that can develop in us to divert the path that we are on. In Genesis 4 the Lord taught us this lesson before everything else with Cain and it was recorded for our own recognition to prevent something from consuming us to the point that it can destroy us.

History is a great tool when we know how to apply it to our lives today without becoming stuck in it to the point that we miss the lesson in it. The same evil spirits that have taken down men and women in history are the same spirits that attack us today. Don’t be fooled and think that history is only history because if you really pay attention to the times you will find that history tends to repeat itself until the people learn how to walk with Jesus to reach the other side…amen

Emotional Decisions Can Deceive Us

October 19, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Everyday we have to make decisions that have an impact on our future from the food that we eat to the people that we meet. Based on our emotions of the day or the pressures that we are under, Satan is spiritually at work to misguide us in our actions because he does not want us to ever discover the purpose that God has in store for our lives.

Spiritually Satan works not only in us if we allow him to guide our actions but he works through others to throw us off course. This is why it is crucial to stay close to the Lord in our decisions to insure that we are rooted in His Word.  With God first in our lives we have productivity and joy through the peace that He gives when we learn to place our trust in Him instead of taking matters into our own hands.

Before you act in your emotions catch yourself to insure that the steps that you are taking line up in the will of God before you possibly have a negative impact on someone else. Every decision has an impact and to insure the spiritual driver look for the type of seed that is being planted to insure the harvest in the future…

Make Godly Decisions

October 18, 2010 by admin 2 Comments

Making a life changing decision is not something that should be rushed nor made without seeking Godly council to help us insure the steps that we take. So many times we allow our emotions to misguide us in our decisions due to the temptations of our own desires that eventually have a negative impact on someone else.

To simplify our decisions without over complicating our answers we should ask ourselves this question,”Is this decision being led by God?” If we can answer this question without hesitation and acknowledge the commitment that we are making then we are on the Way to something better in building something for someone else rather than ourselves.

Often when we hesitate in our decisions it is because we are unsure and we have not taken the proper time in seeking the council of God to insure the steps that we take. This is why our divorce rate is so high in America and children are without their parents due to parents acting in their emotions without thinking about the future. It is vital that we take the time to seek God before we make changes that can affect the future. For if our decisions only serve our self then we are making the wrong that will eventually hurt someone else…

Jesus taught us to look beyond what we see to hear what needs to be heard to insure the steps that we take…

America’s Future With or Without GOD

October 16, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

In the Holy Bible God teaches us a valuable lesson in leadership in order to maintain the security within our homes and maintain the integrity within our nation. Due to America’s continuous drift away from the Word of God and allowing the world to gain control through men and women that achieved their positions by worldly measures this has caused our nation here in America to be in the shape that we are. If this drift continues without men and women that are willing to make a stand in seeking Godly council then we are headed for worse things to come.

The Lord taught us this valuable lesson of leadership in the book of Samuel with the people of Israel wanting a King because they wanted to lean on man instead of holding themselves accountable to God. The Lord warned us of what would come when they rejected Him and if you look at our society today in comparison to what the Lord said in 1 Samuel you will find the paralell to this message.

Why is it that we want to lean on man instead of God? Because God holds us accountable for every single word and action that we say or do and He pushes us to be the best we can be without falling lazy in the world. Leaning on man without holding ourselves accountable to God allows us to get by with things that are simply wrong because we tend to settle for things less than what God teaches us to maintain the integrity within our homes and our nation.

 Let’s look at the first lessons that God taught us through Samuel in leadership with the people of Israel and note the parallel to the Gentiles here in America when our founding fathers selected Presidency in our nation. Our founding fathers new the importance of keeping God first as Noah Webster, known as “The Father of American Scholarship and Education” and author of the Webster’s Dictionary once wrote;

“In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect(party) of the candidate – look to his character….It is alleged by men of loose principles or defective views of the subject that religion and morality are not necessary or important qualifications for political stations. But the Scriptures teach a different doctrine. They direct that rulers should be “who rule in the fear of God, able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness.”

In 1 Samuel God taught us the importance of our leadership being rooted in the Word of God through the life of Saul and the life of King David. Saul was a man that had the appearance but failed in the character qualities of being a successful leader because he simply leaned on man for his relationship with God. This brought selfish motives that hurt the people and caused a lack of peace in the land. Where David on the other hand had developed a personal relationship with God and was willing to stand for what was right and wait on God to bring things together. Yes, King David eventually fell to sin but don’t we all stumble when we drift away from God and allow ourselves to be driven by selfish motives?

Within these two men we can discover the importance of our leaders seeking Godly council for their direction and what hapens when we allow Satan to spiritually entice us to give in to the pressures or temptations of the world. Kinda like President Clinton (as King David) giving in to Monica Lewinsky or President Bush (as King Saul) chasing  Saddam Hussein out of anger. This same principle takes place in the leadership of our homes and how we all can fall when we do not root ourselves in the Word of God and learn to trust in Him instead of taking matters into our own hands.

The future integrity of our homes and The United States of America simply relies on whether we keep God first or whether we put Him second. It is time that America Wakes Up to the Truth and seeks Godly council to restore what He has given us in our homes and in our nation. For with God we have security, purpose, and order without the confusion of the world destroying our children’s future…

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
