Be Wise To The Waters

October 7, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Did you know the bigger the house the more room for clutter? The bigger the house the more expense is required to maintain the clutter. Here is the interesting part that takes place in our human nature when our lives or our homes are full of junk. We fail to recognize how to let go of something until we have no choice but to watch it fall.

The object is to be wise to the waters that slowly rise and to the waters that slowly fade away. When we build our lives, our homes and our nation on these principles then we are better prepared for the tides as they come and go. It is when we forget this simple economic principle that we lose balance in what we have been given and then we try everything to stay a float.

Our boats can only carry so much and the balance is crucial to maintain the coarse. Without God as our Captain in our lives, our homes and in our nation then we are destined to be swept away in the tides of this world. When we keep our lives in tune with God He will prepare us for what is to come and He will show us the Way…amen

Are Your Treating Life As A Gift?

October 5, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in our human nature to get caught up in our day to day activities to the point that we forget the will of God because we are too busy chasing our own desires. Spiritually Satan wants to attract us to the world and to all the activities because when we fall to this then we often lose touch with the life that God has given. When we lose touch with life then we have little regard for life and this is exactly the spiritual plan of Satan in wanting us to take our eyes off of others and only place them on ourselves.

This life is no joke and the life that you have been given is a gift from God. For if He wants to take your life He can and if He desires for you to live then it is in His hands. Are you treating your life as a gift? Or, are you being disrespectful to the Giver? If our life is a gift ,which it is, then how are we treating the life of others in the love that we have been given?

The Lord instructs us in His Word to be a good steward over what we have been given and I am challenging you today to pay close attention to everything that you have in your family, friends, jobs, and in yourself to insure that you are treating the life that is all around you as the gift that it is…amen

Are You Headed For A Dead End?

October 1, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

One of the most awesome lessons that Jesus Christ ever taught us is how to look beyond what we see to help us insure the steps that we take. So many times we jump in our emotions because we think this is the way that we are to go and then we find out when the road comes to an end that this road was not the one to be traveled.

As we mature in Christ and in studying God’s Word we learn that life is much simpler than what we tend to make it out to be. The reason that life becomes so  complicated is because we fail to allow God to direct our steps and we often take roads that we should not have traveled. The awesome part about taking roads with dead ends is when we discover the wrong turns that we have made before we fall off of the Edge of the cliff.

Do you feel as if your life is too complicated? Do you feel that your problems are too big to resolve? The reason we often complicate things is because we try to raise ourselves into some intellect that we are not. People tend to be offended when they don’t receive an intellectual answer because they simply don’t want to feel foolish. How sad is this that we allow ourselves to be ignorant and miss the simple solutions that we have right before us? All we have to do is learn how to face our issues in the belief that Jesus will take us to the other side and learn how to balance on the waves in the sea while doing the work that it takes to reach our goals.

This same lesson of simple solutions was taught through Elijah and fulfilled in the same with Jesus Christ. I challenge you today to not allow Satan to spiritually keep you in bondage and think that your problems are too big when they are really pretty simple. All we have to do is learn how to lay down our burdens at the foot of the cross and learn to allow God to give us the strength we need to make the decisions that need to be made.

Just because we come to the end of one road does not mean that we are to give up but learn how to turn around in the love of Jesus and allow God to show us the road that we are to travel…

Stand With Jesus Or Fall With Satan

September 30, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Throughout the Holy Bible the Lord teaches us to stand strong in faith and to be to obedient to God’s Word. No where does it teach us to be complacent and allow things into our lives or into our homes that are not right by God due to the destruction that is destined to follow. When we allow what is simply wrong to take place over what is right our lives fall into a spiritual bondage of Satan that only takes us deeper away from the Truth until we learn how to speak what we know in our hearts.

True love does not always give us everything we want because in our human nature we often seek things that we do not need. For instance do you give your children everything they ask or do you teach them how to have patience and earn their rewards? One of the hardest things to learn is the balance that is required in true love due to the self discipline that is a must and the teaching that is required in time to maintain what we have received.

At no point in the walk of Jesus did he allow the world or Satan to influence His decisions or redirect the coarse in His life. Do you know the coarse in your life? Has it been redirected by something in this world instead of following what you know in your heart? Has Satan spiritually enticed you to chase the world instead of staying on coarse with God? Has the trap of the world placed you in the bondage of debt because of the lack of being obedient in the Word of God?

I am here to tell you that there is Hope no matter the coarse that you are on. The first step of action is first recognizing where we are to see where we need to be headed and then one step at a time God will bring us back home…Amen

Pray Before You Act…

September 29, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

There is something very important for us to recognize in the difference between acting in our emotions and being led in the Spirit. Our emotions are easily deceived when we do not know how to recognize the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Satan. Spiritually Satan preys in our emotions and often causes us to act in ways that we later regret. This is why it is so important for us to study the Word of God to receive the discernment in the spirits to see beyond our current emotions and to learn how to place our trust in God instead of in man.

This lesson of our human nature was taught in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ with the crowd that murdered our Lord and Savior. They fell to acting in their emotions without trusting in God to work it all out. The same thing happens in our life today of jumping to conclusions without seeking the council of God to guide us in our trials in life. Have you ever acted in your emotions and later regretted something you may have said or that you may have done? I challenge you today to analyze your emotions before you act to insure that you later won’t be hanging from a tree due to the decisions which you make…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
