Are You Branching Out?

May 11, 2011 by admin 1 Comment

Have you ever received the wisdom that can come as you were to look over the trees in a forest? Don’t think this is far out there because if you will open up your mind in this message you will be amazed at what you will find. Think about how a forest grows. It all starts from one tree in the middle that drops it seeds for the next tree to grow. As each tree takes life and learns how to mature while standing in love with others in the forest, can you see how each tree can help another as the winds begin to blow? Can you see the purpose of the trees supporting one another and helping each other to mature?

A tree that tries to stand on its own can only stand for so long unless it knows who is holding it up. For a tree that has shallow roots is destined to fall unless it learns how to tap the source that teaches it how to grow. Another key part of the wisdom within a forest is how it grows from the core with new growth on the outer realms. There is alot of wisdom in this message that has been given by God that should be applied first within our own life and then within every aspect in where we are. For if we are not growing from our inner core and branching out to serve others then we need to ask ourselves what we are really doing. For how lonely is a tree that never learns how to spread its seed?

The Old Is To Make Way For The New…

May 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever studied nature and applied the natural maturity patterns and compared them to the instruction of God? If you were to do this you would find a parallel of lessons that confirms God’s Word and they can teach us how to develop who we are. Let’s take a look at what we can learn from a white oak tree in parallel to God’s Word.

If you were to study a white oak you would find that the bark at the base of the tree is new from growth coming from the core and as it matures up the tree you can see how the old bark becomes dry and brittle. As the new growth matures it sheds the old bark as scales that need to fall in order to make new room for the tree to grow stronger in reaching for the skies.

What would happen if the old bark on the tree did not allow the new to grow? What would happen if the physical man was restricting the spiritual man that is to mature over time? What would happen if we were to hold on to something that was holding us back because we never learned how to shed the old to receive the new? What if we were hiding something within our tree that we did not want others to really see?

Now here is the object in life that was taught through Jesus Christ. As a tree matures we are to grow from our roots in appreciation for the foundation from which we stand. There should be a mutual respect between the new and the old bark of the same tree that teaches us how to work together in love without having to shed the scales of the old to make way for the new. For the family of God is part of one tree that has many parts and the object is to work together to enjoy this tree of life that lives on forever through the unconditional love of Jesus Christ…Amen

Can You Imagine?

May 9, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Learning to live and work in love is something that we have to balance daily. For it is when we take our eyes off of the rock that holds us up is when we should be thanking God for the anchor that never lets us go. Lets take this a little deeper for more clarity. Can you imagine a tight rope that is fastened to a rock that will not move? Can you imagine this line in a big room with the end no where in sight but being blinded because the light is so bright?

Now imagine the room filled with an aroma as mist in the air. This gentle mist represents the love of God that is everywhere. As you walk the line in life learning to balance we are to enjoy the love of God that fills the room. There is nothing like learning to balance our life with the Lord and feeling His presence as He carries us forward.

God taught us from the very beginning through the Israelites on the importance of walking in love and what happens when we sit around complaining and taking what we have forgranted. Praise God today for everything that you have whether it is just the clothes on your back, the roof over your head or for the air that you breath. Let people see the light that is within you by allowing Gods love to flow without placing your lamp in a corner for no one to see.

Here is a song by Mercy Me that displays the love of God within a father and his son. This video shows how we are to go the extra mile in order to help someone else smile. For it is the glow within our heart in where it all starts. Enjoy this song I Can Only Imagine and may you feel the touch of God and spread it to others…Amen

Focus on The Promise & Not The Storm…

May 6, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Due to our human nature of complacency and what takes place when we lose our perspective in why we are here is when storms tend to come into our lives in order to bring us back to the very beginning. See it is very easy to take for granted what we have until it is taken away and unless we maintain our balance within the Word of God then we better prepare to be thrown around in the wind.

Don’t get caught up in the lives of one but learn to look at the body through the eyes of the Lord to see how we are all just a individual cell. Each cell can be broken down into different atoms and these atoms represent our surroundings from our homes, our work, our church, our community and our nation. It is when allow Satan to misguide our focus that we tend to forget the commandments of God. When we neglect this is when an infection can set up in the body that can grow out of control until it is brought to our attention.

Like any infection sometimes they have to be washed, scrubbed or even removed to insure that we get to the root of the infection that is affecting the overall body. This life is not about external growth or material wealth it is about the internal growth with God that carries us forward. It is when we forget this that we better prepare for what is sure to come in discipline to correct the infection before it deteriorates the overall body…Amen

Here is a song by Casting Crowns that will help in any storm…Praise You In The Storm

Spiritual Metamorphis…

May 5, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Can you imagine how a butterfly must feel when ready to come out of the cocoon? Can you imagine if there was more than one butterfly within the cocoon in how uncomfortable it would be as God was preparing each one to be set free? Do you think the butterfly would want to stay with his home and possibly fight against the spiritual push?

The object in life is to never grow comfortable where we are and to recognize when God is preparing us to move. For when we fight against the spiritual shift of God is when things will become uncomfortable for ourselves and eventually others as well. Another point to recognize is what happens when we overlook the guidance of God and hang out too long. Because the longer we overlook the signs the harder the move will become.

Unfortunately, way too often it takes a storm to carry us forward because we become too comfortable on the branch in which we stand. If you are experiencing the nudge of change be open to follow as God directs and be ready to move when He says to move…Amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
