The Heart Of Music

November 14, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

There is music being played all around us and can be played within us as we learn to follow the art of the sounds and the direction of the conductor. For within the sound of music there are cords which are expressed through our words and actions. The expression of music can be a portal to either Heaven or Hell while some music has little value due to being stuck in the middle between the two.

Gods Word teaches us to honor one another in love and as we learn to move within His instruction there is a harmony within the spirit of God that carries us forward. Moving within the  grace of God should be like the cords on an instrument each having his or her own note but both playing the same tune. The objective is to work together as one while teaching and helping others to learn how to play within the music of God that soothes the soul.

Why do you think Jesus said to the disciples in Matthew 10 to be wise as serpents but gentle as a dove? For He knew the conductor and was giving us the instruction of how to move within the spirit of God as we recognize the sounds of the world…

A Disciplined Tune Of God…

November 11, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

There is a disciplined tuning process required to maintain the note of every sound. Within every cord there is fine tuning that requires the eyes to see and the ears to hear. For an undisciplined instrument can not hold the music of God and handle the power within the cords as the vibrations begin to move the soul. There are many different levels of music which require different skills in order to experience the depths of sound.

As a symphony comes together there is a mutual respect among the group as they each learn to work together as one. Many people may never understand the parallel of a symphony to the family of God but when we learn to put aside our differences and recognize the talents of each individual instrument is when we can discover the momentum of God developing the music and driving the sound.

Please take a brief moment this morning to watch this amazing video of what happens when we come together to achieve a specific goal. This video teaches us a valuable lesson of the present sound reaching into the future without pointing fingers from the past in order to give something back in return….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnKJpYGCLsg

The Internal Sound Of Music…

November 10, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

An instrument that is developed over time and one that learns to wait on delivery is an instrument that can project a certain sound. Within this sound there is power behind the words due to the internal source of the instrument. The object is to seek this internal source and to have the discipline in order to handle the power. Discipline comes with understanding for without the discipline of God man can not handle the power.

Please take a moment out of your time this morning to watch this powerful video shot at the coliseum in Rome. The group is Divo and the song is Amazing Grace which is a song that was written by a slave trader after experiencing God’s mercy. Within this song you will witness unity, harmony and a deep power which comes from the soul of man. It is when we learn to stand together as one and in one spirit that amazing things can take place to move the world…Here is the link and don’t miss the blessing of the words within the song…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYMLMj-SibU

Recognizing The Gifts & Tallents Of Others…

November 9, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

There are principles within every instrument that must be understood in order to maintain the tune. Within every instrument that is born we all learn to play as we learn to listen. The object is to allow each instrument to develop in their own timing and not try to force them in ours. Learning to teach with God directing the way allows us to discover the journey of change and being open to learn what works for someone else rather than the way it may have worked for us.

It is easy to allow our traditions to blind us when we get out of tune from God’s Word and forget who is in control. Sometimes we allow traditions to get in the way due to following everyon else instead of insuring the steps of our own. This lesson was taught in Luke 2 with Jesus’s parents as they followed the people and left Jesus behind.  His parents had to re-track their steps back for three days before they finally found Jesus in the temple. They tried to pull Him out but little did His parents know the music that was being played to the elders who chose to listen.

Learning how to listen and recognize the development and talents of each individual around us should be teaching us how to work together as one without trying to change someone else’s individual tune. The music is love and the instruction comes in time as we learn to teach in ways that others can relate with no debate. Enjoy this awesome video of a three year old prodigy child playing the piano  and how his mother looked for creative ways to teach her son. She did not discourage him due to his age nor did she discourage him due to the lack of his education. She simply recognized his own gift and discovered a way to further the development of these skills.

The object in teaching is learning the hearts of others and then learning how to capture their interest in creative ways to deliver the lessons to be received…Like the 3 year olds mother states in the video her son is driven more to play on his own than when being pressured by others… Here is the link to this creative teaching lesson  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ygzf709CmI

Recognizing The Music Of God…

November 8, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Learning how to listen for the music of God within the spirit that is all around us requires us getting out of the way. Too many times we miss the music due to never learning how to play. How might this happen you may ask and the answer is simple. One, many never even pick up the instrument. Two, their doubts of their own abilities keep them from ever touching the cords. Three, then they are too worried of what others might say while they are simply learning how to play.

The object is to learn our note and what we have to add in the spirit of God and not in the flesh of man. Then as we learn to work together in unity toward a common purpose without taking something away from what someone has to add is when we can begin to reach higher levels in the spirit of God as His Kingdom comes on earth as it is in Heaven. A parallel to this lesson was taught with Abraham and with his nephew Lot in Genesis 13.

Abraham and Lot joined together at first and as their instrument grew in time there was a point where they could no longer play together due to one group was taking away from the next. Abraham understood something though where Lot did not. Abraham understood the meaning of self sacrifice where Lot took what was good to the eye. Abraham blessed Lot in their departure while trusting in God and helping Lot however he could. Within the spirit of God there is life, reverence, honor, obedience and sacrifice in order to reach our goals and to maintain what God has given.

Unfortunately due to the sinful world we live in and our sinful nature of the flesh this is a constant thorn in our side due to there is always someone or something trying to prevent the music of God from being played. The object is to learn the cords and to be willing to pick up the slack without complaining or murmuring in our spirit in hopes that they will learn the proper Way. For when we teach in love to those that are humble to receive is when others that are yearning in their spirit to join in may come closer to the well of God and begin to play… For there is music in love as we do everything unto Him….
