God Desires Daily Obedience

August 20, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

God does not want our promises for the future but obedience for the day. For He knows how weak we are in the flesh and how we tend to make decisions in our emotions which only lead to broken promises in the future. Everyday that we are given we are to honor our commitments and to do our jobs to the best abilities that we can.

You will find that people tend to make promises in order to achieve their desires and it is very wise for us to recall that we don’t control the future. A person can only speak for themself and when someone tries to speak for others they must be on one accord to achieve the goal in the end. I challenge you today to not focus on what you desire in the future but learn to commit yourself to do the best job that you can today…amen

God Gives Us Our Vision & Direction

August 19, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Have you ever been at a point in your life where you continued to face the same issues time and time again? Or, have you ever gone beyond the extra mile in effort for something to work but continued to hit the same walls? It is very easy in life to encounter repetitive cycles in our relationships, in our careers, and even in the church when we look at things through our human eyes rather than looking for what God is wanting to teach us.

When we begin to look for God in our circumstances is when He often shows us the lessons that can be learned and the direction in order for us to move forward. So many times we miss the lessons of God because we get so wrapped up in our circumstances that we become deaf and blind to the Truth that will set us free. God’s Word challenges us to look beyond where we are to see where we are going and today the Lord is saying to each of us,” If you feel stuck or you are continuing to hit the same walls then seek Me with all your heart and I will show you the Way”…amen

Real Change Starts Within

August 18, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy in life to say we are going to change but the question is, “Do our actions follow our words?” There is only one way to change or correct a problem and that is to get to the roots at where they began and then work our way back up to the top! If we start on the top then the change is only superficial because it will only last so long before the roots on the inside will overcome that which is on the outside.

There is only one way to examine our roots and that is with the light of Jesus Christ that exposes our wrongs to make them right. Honestly, how can we expect true change if we do not get to the bottom and work our way back up to the top? Once we are on the bottom it is necessary to study our foundation in order to repair and rebuild stronger than ever before.

So many times in life we make half hearted attempts to change but due to the commitment that is required along with the hard work that it takes we only scratch  the surface before we eventually give up or settle with something less. I challenge you today and every other day to commit yourself in making a difference not only in your life but in someone elses without settling for something less than what God wants you to have…amen

Out Of Love or For Money

August 17, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

It is very easy to lose sight in this physical world and allow our fleshly desires to mislead our direction. This takes place everyday in order to misguide us in our emotions because Satan knows that when we place our eyes upon the physical that we often lose our perspective in the spiritual.

Have you ever experienced a relationship that was based on the physical with no overall connection in the spiritual? How long did this relationship last? Have you ever purchased that new car or that new boat and then once the new wore off you wished that you had never spent the money? We all have made decisions in the physical without waiting on the confirmation of God to move forward and when we do this it often brings struggles and   ty our relationships and g

Seek God Before You Move

August 17, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

In the book of Exodus 40 we were taught a beautiful lesson from God in when to move and when to sit still. This lesson is taught in the Glory of God within the cloud that filled the tabernacle with Moses and the people of Israel.  This same lesson is taught over and over through the generations in the Holy Bible because of how often we tend to not stop and listen.

How often in our steps of life do we move without seeking the direction of God? He guides us when we stop and listen but often we get so wrapped up in life that we listen to everything else instead of the One who brings it all together. Every action we make is accountable and serves only one of two ways. If we serve self then we serve Satan and if we serve others then we serve God.

It is so easy to fall to self and forget how our actions affect others and this is exactly what Satan wants in our lives in losing touch with the people. I challenge you today and every other day to seek God first before you move and examine your steps to insure the path that you are on…amen

Spiritual Revelations

Don’t be like Eli in 1st Samuel and miss something that has been given by God. If you recall with Eli he did not listen because the Word of God was rare in those days and he did not recognize what was taking place until he saw the persistence of Samuel…
